  1. What has Our Lord Christ Jesus Done For You? ????? Yes, He is Now God's Appointed King of God's Kingdom! Be Part of that Kingdom Today!"In that [Jesus] himself has suffered when being put to the test, he is able to come to the aid of those who are being put to the test."—Heb. 2:18. ????? Jesus’ own experience as a human did much to help qualify him as King. The apostle Paul wrote: “He was obliged to become like his ‘brothers’ in all respects, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, in order to offer propitiatory sacrifice for the sins of the people.” (Heb. 2:17) ????? Because Jesus was “put to the test,” he can sympathize with those who are undergoing trial. Jesus’ compassion was clearly manifest during his earthly ministry. The sick, the disabled, the downtrodden—even children—felt free to approach him. ????? (Mark 5:22-24) Now one of the presiding officers of the synagogue, Ja′i·rus by name, came and, on catching sight of him, he fell at his feet 23 and entreated him many times, saying: “My little daughter is in an extreme condition. Would you please come and put your hands upon her that she may get well and live.” 24 At that he went off with him. And a great crowd was following him and pressing against him." ????? (Mark 5:38-42) So they came to the house of the presiding officer of the synagogue, and he beheld the noisy confusion and those weeping and letting out many wails, 39 and, after stepping in, he said to them: “Why are YOU causing noisy confusion and weeping? The young child has not died, but is sleeping.” 40 At this they began to laugh scornfully at him. But, having put them all out, he took along the young child’s father and mother and those with him, and he went in where the young child was. 41 And, taking the hand of the young child, he said to her: “Tal′i·tha cu′mi,” which, translated, means: “Maiden, I say to you, Get up!” 42 And immediately the maiden rose and began walking, for she was twelve years old. And at once they were beside themselves with great ecstasy." ????? (Mark 10:14-16) At seeing this Jesus was indignant and said to them: “Let the young children come to me; do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of God belongs to suchlike ones. 15 Truly I say to YOU, Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a young child will by no means enter into it.” 16 And he took the children into his arms and began blessing them, laying his hands upon them." ????? The meek and spiritually hungry were also drawn to him. On the other hand, the proud, the arrogant, and those who did “not have the love of God” in them rejected, hated, and opposed him.— ????? (John 5:40-42) And yet YOU do not want to come to me that YOU may have life. 41 I do not accept glory from men, 42 but I well know that YOU do not have the love of God in YOU." ????? (John 11:47-53) Consequently the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered the San′he·drin together and began to say: “What are we to do, because this man performs many signs? 48 If we let him alone this way, they will all put faith in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation.” 49 But a certain one of them, Ca′ia·phas, who was high priest that year, said to them: “YOU do not know anything at all, 50 and YOU do not reason out that it is to YOUR benefit for one man to die in behalf of the people and not for the whole nation to be destroyed.” 51 This, though, he did not say of his own originality; but because he was high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus was destined to die for the nation, 52 and not for the nation only, but in order that the children of God who are scattered about he might also gather together in one. 53 Therefore from that day on they took counsel to kill him." 2. Jehovah’s Restored People Praise Him Earth Wide! ? ??????? “I shall give to peoples the change to a pure language, in order for them all to call upon the name of Jehovah.”—ZEPHANIAH 3:9 ???????? (Zephaniah 3:17) . . ."Jehovah your God is in the midst of you. As a mighty One, he will save. He will exult over you with rejoicing. He will become silent in his love. He will be joyful over you with happy cries." ???????? When would this happen? As the prophecy said, “in the final part of the days”—yes, during these “last days.” (2 Timothy 3:1) This would take place before the end of the present wicked system of things while the nations still worshiped false gods. Says Micah 4:5: “All the peoples, for their part, will walk each one in the name of its god.” And what about true worshipers? Micah’s prophecy answers: “But we, for our part, shall walk in the name of Jehovah our God to time indefinite, even forever.” ???????? In these last days, therefore, “the mountain of the house of Jehovah [has] become firmly established above the top of the mountains.” The lofty true worship of Jehovah has been restored, firmly established, and elevated above any and all other types of religion. As Micah’s prophecy also foretold, “to it peoples must stream.” And those practicing true religion “shall walk in the name of Jehovah [their] God to time indefinite, even forever.” ???????? Events in fulfillment of Bible prophecy prove that this world entered “the final part of the days”—its last days—in the year 1914. (Mark 13:4-10) ???????? History shows that Jehovah began gathering to true worship a faithful remnant of anointed ones having the heavenly hope. This has been followed by the gathering of “a great crowd . . . out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues”—those who have the hope of living forever on earth.—Revelation 7:9
  3. "Although Jesus Christ had performed so many signs before them, they were not putting faith in him, so that the word of Isaiah the prophet was fulfilled."—John 12:37, 38. ????? Yes, despite all the good done by the Messiah, many people would not believe in him. (Isa. 53:1) ????? Also, few put faith in the good news about Jesus, the Messiah, during the ministry of the apostle Paul. (Rom. 10:16, 17) ????? The Scriptures foretold that the Messiah would be hated without cause. (Ps. 69:4) ????? The apostle John quotes Jesus as saying: “They have both seen and hated me as well as my Father. But it is that the word written in their Law may be fulfilled, ‘They hated me without cause.’” (John 15:24, 25) ????? The Gospel accounts prove that Jesus was hated, especially by the Jewish religious leaders. Moreover, Christ said: “The world has no reason to hate you, but it hates me, because I bear witness concerning it that its works are wicked.”—John 7:7. ????? 2013/7/6 w11 8/15 1:16, 17
  4. Sing Praises to Jehovah - Before you Sleep Sing a Song to Jehovah! - He Loves to hear Us Sing! ??????? “Sing to Jehovah, all you people of the earth. For Jehovah is great and very much to be praised.”—Psalm 96:1, 4. This was one of my favorites from the older songbook: Song 222 Keep Your Eyes on the Prize! (2 Corinthians 4:18) 1. When eyes of blind ones see again And ears of deaf ones hear again, When deserts blossom as the rose And from parched ground fresh water flows, When lame ones leap just like the hart, When loved ones never have to part —Such blessed times you’ll realize If you keep your eyes on the prize. 2. When tongues of mute ones speak again, When old ones will be young again, When earth will yield her rich increase And all good things will never cease, When songs of children fill the air, When joy and peace are ev’rywhere, Then, too, you’ll see the dead arise If you keep your eyes on the prize. 3. When wolves and lambs will feed as one, When bears and calves bask in the sun, A mere young boy will lead them all, And they will heed his childish call. When tears belong to yesterday, When fears and pain have passed away, You’ll see how God these things supplies If you keep your eyes ?? on the prize.
  5. "In showing honor to one another take the lead." — (Rom. 12:10) ????? What is involved in honoring others? It starts with respect. In fact, the words “honor” and “respect” are often used together because they are closely related. ????? Honor is the manifestation, or outward demonstration, of respect. In other words, respect refers primarily to how we view our brother while honor refers to how we treat our brother. How can a Christian show genuine honor to fellow believers if he does not have heartfelt respect for them? ????? (3 John 9-10) I wrote something to the congregation, but Di·ot′re·phes, who likes to have the first place among them, does not receive anything from us with respect. 10 That is why, if I come, I will call to remembrance his works which he goes on doing, chattering about us with wicked words. Also, not being content with these things, neither does he himself receive the brothers with respect, and those who are wanting to receive them he tries to hinder and to throw out of the congregation." ????? Just as a plant can flourish and last only if it is rooted in good soil, so honor can be genuine and lasting only if it is rooted in heartfelt respect. Since insincere honor does not grow out of genuine respect, it will wither sooner or later. ????? No wonder, therefore, that Paul preceded his admonition to show honor with the clear-cut statement: “Let your love be without hypocrisy.” ????? (Romans 12:9) Let [YOUR] love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is wicked, cling to what is good." ????? (1 Peter 1:22) Now that YOU have purified YOUR souls by [YOUR] obedience to the truth with unhypocritical brotherly affection as the result, love one another intensely from the heart." jw.org
  6. "Everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved."— (Rom. 10:13) ????????? In the Middle Ages, God’s personal name was rather widely known in Europe. That name, represented by four Hebrew letters called the Tetragrammaton and commonly transliterated YHWH (or JHVH), appeared on coins, on facades of houses, in many books and Bibles, and even in some Catholic and Protestant churches. ????????? However, the trend in recent times is to eliminate the name of God from Bible translations and from other uses. One indication of this is the Letter to the Bishops’ Conferences on ‘the Name of God,’ dated June 29, 2008. ????????? In it the Roman Catholic Church advised that the Tetragrammaton in its various renderings should be replaced by “Lord” and that God’s personal name should not be used in hymns and prayers during Catholic religious services. And the leaders of other religions inside and outside of Christendom have also hidden the identity of the true God from millions upon millions of worshippers. ????????? jw.org
  7. Don't let fear and anger, grief, worry, stress take over your body....they destroy the body! - ????? We have a resting place with Jehovah! - The wicked will be shown up! - We need to Pray for deliverance and put it in Jehovah's hands....He says: "They will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain,” Jehovah has said. This is what Jehovah has said: “The heavens are my throne, and the earth is my footstool." ????????? (1 Peter 3:10-18) . . .For, “he that would love life and see good days, let him restrain his tongue from what is bad and [his] lips from speaking deception, 11 but let him turn away from what is bad and do what is good; let him seek peace and pursue it. 12 For [the] eyes of Jehovah are upon the righteous ones, and his ears are toward their supplication; but [the] face of Jehovah is against those doing bad things.” 13 Indeed, who is the man that will harm YOU if YOU become zealous for what is good? 14 But even if YOU should suffer for the sake of righteousness, YOU are happy." ????????? However, the object of their fear do not YOU fear, neither become agitated. 15 But sanctify the Christ as Lord in YOUR hearts, always ready to make a defense before everyone that demands of YOU a reason for the hope in YOU, but doing so together with a mild temper and deep respect. 16 Hold a good conscience, so that in the particular in which YOU are spoken against they may get ashamed who are speaking slightingly of YOUR good conduct in connection with Christ. 17 For it is better to suffer because YOU are doing good, if the will of God wishes it, than because YOU are doing evil. 18 Why, even Christ died once for all time concerning sins, a righteous [person] for unrighteous ones, that he might lead YOU to God, he being put to death in the flesh, but being made alive in the spirit." ????????? (Isaiah 65:24-66:2) . . .And it will actually occur that before they call out I myself shall answer; while they are yet speaking, I myself shall hear. 25 “The wolf and the lamb themselves will feed as one, and the lion will eat straw just like the bull; and as for the serpent, his food will be dust. They will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain,” Jehovah has said. 66 This is what Jehovah has said: “The heavens are my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where, then, is the house that YOU people can build for me, and where, then, is the place as a resting-place for me?” 2 “Now all these things my own hand has made, so that all these came to be,” is the utterance of Jehovah. “To this one, then, I shall look, to the one afflicted and contrite in spirit and trembling at my word." ????????? jw.org
  8. “He is making green grass sprout for the beasts, and vegetation for the service of mankind, to cause food to go forth from the earth, and wine that makes the heart of mortal man rejoice, to make the face shine with oil, and bread that sustains the very heart of mortal man.” (Psalm 104:14, 15) ????? Healthful Food for All—Soon! ??????? YOU can take practical steps to enjoy safer food. However, many factors are beyond your control. For example, you cannot personally inspect all food before you buy or prepare it. You may have to purchase food that has been processed and shipped from afar. And some of the food that you buy may be contaminated by dangerous chemicals in the air, water, or soil. ??????? In a report entitled “Foodborne Disease Control: A Transnational Challenge,” officials from the World Health Organization state that some food safety problems “cannot be resolved by national governments alone; they require international cooperation.” Foodborne diseases are a global problem! ??????? Understandably, many will question why we can confidently say that soon there will be healthful food for all. It is because “Jehovah, the Lord of the whole earth,” promises a solution to man’s food problems. (Joshua 3:13) Some may claim that unsafe food proves that God cannot be trusted. But think: If a waiter carelessly allows fine food to spoil, would it be proper to blame the chef? Of course not. ??????? Similarly, humans—not the Creator—are responsible for spoiling the earth’s supply of fine food. The prevalence of unsafe food is a man-made problem. God’s promise is that he will “bring to ruin those ruining the earth.”—Revelation 11:18. ??????? The fact is, God has already proved that he cares about the quality of our food. He is the One who formed the earth and made trees that were not only “desirable to one’s sight” but also “good for food.” (Genesis 2:9) Even after sickness infected the human family, Jehovah God gave his people specific guidelines that would protect their food and their bodies. ??????? Regarding our future, his Word promises: “He will certainly give the rain for your seed with which you sow the ground, and as the produce of the ground bread, which must become fat and oily. Your livestock will graze in that day in a spacious pasture.” (Isaiah 30:23) Yes, today’s foreboding headlines will soon be replaced by the announcement: “Healthful food for all!” ?????????
  9. PEACE - How do you find peace in a world with no peace? ????? We have PEACE when take pleasure in Jehovah, from Him we learn, wisdom, discernment and roadways of PEACE. Have you found PEACE? His Son is called the "Prince of Peace". He will bring PEACE to the Earth. How can you show PEACE in your life? This only way to bring true PEACE that matters to the World and to our own self and family and those we love around us, see why....... ????? PEACE Sha·lohm′, the Hebrew word rendered “peace,” refers to the state of being free from war or disturbance it can convey the idea of health, safety, soundness, welfare, friendship, and entirety or completeness. The Greek word for peace (ei·re′ne) has taken on the same broad connotations as the Hebrew word sha·lohm′ and may express the ideas of well-being, salvation, and concord, in addition to the absence of conflict. It occurs in the farewell exclamation “go in peace,” which somewhat corresponds to the expression ‘may it go well with you.’“The peace of God,” that is the calmness and tranquillity that result from a Christian’s precious relationship with Jehovah God, guards his heart and mental powers from becoming anxious about his needs. He has the assurance that Jehovah God provides for his servants and answers their prayers puts his heart and mind at rest. ????? (Philippians 4:6-7) . . .Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let YOUR petitions be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God that excels all thought will guard YOUR hearts and YOUR mental powers by means of Christ Jesus." ????? (Proverbs 16:7) When Jehovah takes pleasure in the ways of a man he causes even his enemies themselves to be at peace with him." ????? (Proverbs 12:20) . . .Deception is in the heart of those fabricating mischief, but those counseling peace have rejoicing." ????? (Proverbs 3:13-18) . . .Happy is the man that has found wisdom, and the man that gets discernment, 14 for having it as gain is better than having silver as gain and having it as produce than gold itself. 15 It is more precious than corals, and all other delights of yours cannot be made equal to it. 16 Length of days is in its right hand; in its left hand there are riches and glory. 17 Its ways are ways of pleasantness, and all its roadways are peace. 18 It is a tree of life to those taking hold of it, and those keeping fast hold of it are to be called happy. . ." ????? (Isaiah 9:6-7) . . .there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 7 To the abundance of the princely rule and to peace there will be no end,. . . ????? (Isaiah 26:3-4) . . .The inclination that is well supported you will safeguard in continuous peace, because it is in you that one is made to trust. 4 Trust in Jehovah, YOU people, for all times, for in Jah Jehovah is the Rock of times indefinite. ????? (Isaiah 32:17-19) . . .And the work of the [true] righteousness must become peace; and the service of the [true] righteousness, quietness and security to time indefinite. 18 And my people must dwell in a peaceful abiding place and in residences of full confidence and in undisturbed resting-places. 19 And it will certainly hail when the forest goes down and the city becomes low in an abased state. . ." ????? (Isaiah 48:17-19) . . .This is what Jehovah has said, your Repurchaser, the Holy One of Israel: “I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit [yourself], the One causing you to tread in the way in which you should walk. 18 O if only you would actually pay attention to my commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea. 19 And your offspring would become just like the sand, and the descendants from your inward parts like the grains of it. One’s name would not be cut off or be annihilated from before me.” ????? YES, TRUE PEACE WILL COME SOON! https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2009485?q=how+to+find+peace&p=par jw.org
  10. Spider Silk: Stronger Than Steel? ????? “Two to three times the strength of high-quality steel.” “Flexible enough to stretch 30 per cent before breaking.” Only “a thousandth of a millimetre in diameter” (“a hundredth the size of a human hair”). What is it? A wonder of modern technology? No, it is the silk spun by the tiny brown spider named aranei diademati, commonly known as the orb web spider. Scientists at the University of British Columbia studying the design of this natural product find that “generally, the stronger a substance gets, the more rigid it gets.” ????? Yet, “the unique arrangement of the molecules in a strand of [spider] silk . . . allows it to be both stretchable and strong at the same time.” So effort is being made by scientists at the University of British Columbia to see if they can learn something from the chemistry of the lowly spider that will enable man to develop synthetic patterns that are similar. ????? Among the intriguing properties of this silk is the mystifying “ability of the protein chains to link rubbery and crystalline features.” British chemist Paul Calvert found all this “very impressive.” Obviously, spider’s silk testifies to a Grand Designer who possesses superhuman intelligence. ????? Yes, it is one of “the wonderful works of the One perfect in knowledge,” Jehovah God.— (Job 37:16) ????? https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/102000042?q=spider+silk+stronger+than+steel&p=par jw.org
  11. “Do Not Let Your Hands Drop Down” ?????????????????? “Do not let your hands drop down.”—ZEPH. 3:16. ?????????????????? Moses put into action a plan that proved to be the key to their success. Moses kept his hands and the rod of the true God lifted up toward heaven. As long as Moses did that, Jehovah empowered the hands of the Israelites to fight successfully against the Amalekites. However, when Moses’ hands became heavy and began to drop down, the Amalekites started to win. Acting with decisiveness, Aaron and Hur “took a stone and put it under [Moses], and he sat on it. Then Aaron and Hur, one on each side, supported his hands, so that his hands remained steady until the sun set.” Yes, God’s mighty hand enabled the Israelites to win the battle.—Ex. 17:8-13. ?????????????????? We can be sure that the Devil will never let his hands drop down in his efforts to stop our Christian activities. He uses lies and threats from governments, religious leaders, and apostates. What is his goal? It is to cause our hands to slacken in the work of preaching the Kingdom good news. However, Jehovah is able and willing to give us strength by means of his holy spirit. (1 Chron. 29:12) It is vital that we draw on that spirit so that we can face any challenge that Satan and his wicked system thrust upon us. (Ps. 18:39; 1 Cor. 10:13) Also, we can be grateful that we have God’s Word, which is a product of holy spirit. ?????????????????? Think, too, about the spiritual food based on the Bible that we receive each month. The words of Zechariah 8:9, 13 (read) were spoken while the temple in Jerusalem was being rebuilt, and those words are very fitting for us. ?????????????????? Seeing how Jehovah on different occasions supported and protected his faithful servants in the past should build our faith and trust in him today. So when you face pressures and problems, “do not let your hands drop down”! Instead, reach out to Jehovah in prayer, and allow his mighty hand to strengthen you and lead you to Kingdom blessings.—Ps. 73:23, 24. ?????????????????? https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-study-september-2016/do-not-let-your-hands-drop-down/

  14. JULY 4, 2017KAZAKHSTAN Kazakhstan Government Suspends Branch Operations of Jehovah’s Witnesses On June 29, 2017, a Kazakhstan court ordered the branch office of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Almaty, Kazakhstan, to suspend operations for three months and fined them approximately 680,000 KZT ($2,107). Leading up to the court decision, authorities conducted a raid of the branch property on May 17, 2017, which created a public spectacle and involved an intimidating force of some 40 armed officers, some of whom were masked. The Witnesses plan to file a complaint against the raid. On June 5, 2017, police inspected the branch property and authorities claim the inspection revealed violations of certain protocols. The Witnesses disputed the findings of the inspection, which was conducted in a way that violated legal procedures. The developments in Kazakhstan are reminiscent of the police intimidation and religious intolerance that Jehovah’s Witnesses are facing in Russia, where the government has effectively banned the activities of Jehovah’s Witnesses. The Witnesses will be appealing the June 29 decision, which must be filed by July 9, 2017. Media Contacts: International: David A. 16. Who is the Master Potter? ⚱️?⚱️?⚱️ Let Jehovah’s Discipline Mold You “With your counsel you will lead me, and afterward you will take me even to glory.”—PS. 73:24. ⚱️?⚱️?⚱️ What if humans stubbornly refuse to be molded by the Great Potter? How, then, does he exercise his divine authority? Think about what happens to the clay if it becomes unsuited for the intended purpose. Why, the potter can make another type of vessel out of it or simply discard it! When the clay is useless, though, generally the potter is at fault. This is never the case with our Potter. (Deut. 32:4) ⚱️?⚱️?⚱️ When a person does not yield to Jehovah’s molding, the fault always lies with that person. Jehovah exercises his potterlike authority over humans by adjusting his dealings with them depending on their response to his molding. Those who respond properly are fashioned in a beneficial way. For example, anointed Christians are “vessels of mercy” who have been molded into ‘vessels for an honorable use.’ On the other hand, those who stubbornly oppose God end up as “vessels of wrath made fit for destruction.”—Rom. 9:19-23. ⚱️?⚱️?⚱️ One way that Jehovah molds people is through counsel or discipline. We can see how he exercises authority over those whom he molds by considering Israel’s first two kings—Saul and David. When King David committed adultery with Bath-sheba, his actions adversely affected him and others. Even though David was king, Jehovah did not hold back from giving him firm discipline. God sent his prophet Nathan to David with a strong message. (2 Sam. 12:1-12) How did David respond? He was cut to the heart and repented. David became a recipient of God’s mercy.—Read 2 Samuel 12:13. ⚱️?⚱️?⚱️ Moving Video! Enjoy ⚱️?⚱️ https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2013446?q=potter&p=par#h=13 IMG_9406.MP4
  17. @Martha Braun Amistadi May Jehovah be Blessed! He truly performs "miracles" for us today! Thank you for your support. Agape, ?????
  18. ‘Blessings That Make Us Rich’ Now ????? ? An accurate knowledge of Bible teachings. The religions of Christendom generally claim to believe the Bible. However, they fail to agree on what it teaches. Even members of the same religious group often differ in their views of what the Scriptures really teach. How different their condition is from that of Jehovah’s servants! Regardless of our national, cultural, or ethnic background, we worship the God we know by name. He is not some mysterious triune god. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Psalm 83:18; Mark 12:29) ????? We are also aware that the paramount issue of God’s universal sovereignty is due for settlement and that by maintaining our integrity to him, each one of us is personally involved in that issue. We know the truth about the dead and are free of the morbid fear of a God who is said to torment humans in hellfire or consign them to purgatory.—Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10. ????? Moreover, what a joy it is to know that we are not an accidental product of blind evolution! Rather, we are God’s creation, made in his own image. (Genesis 1:26;Malachi 2:10) “I shall laud you because in a fear-inspiring way I am wonderfully made,” sang the psalmist to his God. “Your works are wonderful, as my soul is very well aware.”—Psalm 139:14. ?Release from detrimental habits and practices. Warnings about the dangers of smoking, excessive drinking, and sexual promiscuity abound in the media. For the most part, these warnings go unheeded. What happens, though, when a sincere person learns that the true God condemns such things and is saddened by those who practice them? Why, that person is moved to exclude such practices from his life! (Isaiah 63:10;1 Corinthians 6:9, 10; 2 Corinthians 7:1;Ephesians 4:30) While he does this primarily to please Jehovah God, he also receives additional benefits—better health and peace of mind. ????? Breaking bad habits is very difficult for many. Still, each year tens of thousands are doing so. They dedicate themselves to Jehovah and submit to water baptism, thus making it public that they have eliminated from their lives the practices that displease God. What an encouragement that is to all of us! Our determination to remain free from enslavement to sinful and hurtful conduct is reinforced. ?Happy family life. In numerous countries family life is faltering. Many marriages end in divorce, often leaving behind painfully scarred children. In some European countries, one-parent families make up close to 20 percent of all households. How has Jehovah helped us walk in the way of integrity in this regard? Please read Ephesians 5:22–6:4, and note the fine counsel that God’s Word gives to husbands, wives, and children. Applying what is stated there and elsewhere in the Scriptures certainly strengthens the marriage bond, helps parents to bring up children properly, and contributes to a happy family life. Is that not a blessing to rejoice over? How does our outlook for the future differ from that of the world? ?Assurance that world problems will soon be solved. Despite scientific and technological know-how and the sincere efforts of certain leaders, serious problems of present-day life remain unsolved. Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, recently noted that “the list of challenges facing the world grows ever longer and the time to address them grows shorter.” He spoke of “dangers that transcend national boundaries like terrorism, environmental degradation and financial instability.” Schwab concluded: “Now, more than ever, the world is faced with realities that call for collective and decisive action.” As the 21st century moves forward, the overall outlook for mankind’s future remains bleak. ????? How gratifying to know that Jehovah has instituted an arrangement that is capable of solving all of mankind’s problems—the Messianic Kingdom of God! By means of it, the true God will ‘make wars to cease’ and bring about ‘abundant peace.’ (Psalm 46:9; 72:7) The anointed King, Jesus Christ, ‘will deliver the poor one, the afflicted one, and the lowly one from oppression and from violence.’ (Psalm 72:12-14) Under Kingdom rule, there will be no food shortage. (Psalm 72:16) Jehovah “will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) The Kingdom has already been established in heaven and will shortly take the necessary action to affect every affair on the earth.—Daniel 2:44; Revelation 11:15. ?Knowing what brings true happiness. What does bring true happiness? One psychologist said that happiness has three components—pleasure, engagement (involvement in such activities as work and family), and meaning (working toward a larger end or goal than self). Of the three, he listed pleasure as the least consequential and observed: “This is newsworthy because so many people build their lives around pursuing pleasure.” What is the Bible’s view in this regard? ????? Why, then, do tests and trials befall many of God’s loyal ones, causing them much pain and suffering? Difficulties and distress come our way for three main reasons. ?(1) Our own sinful inclination. (Genesis 6:5; 8:21; James 1:14, 15) ?(2) Satan and his demons. (Ephesians 6:11, 12) ?(3) The wicked world. (John 15:19) While Jehovah permits bad things to happen to us, he is not the originator of them. In fact, “every good gift and every perfect present is from above, for it comes down from the Father of the celestial lights.” (James 1:17) Jehovah’s blessings are without pain. ????? 2 Pictures 1 Moving 1 Regular https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2006367?q=blessing+of+jehovah+makes+rich&p=par IMG_9303.mp4
  19. How Does God Feel About Violence? ⛓??⚔️??⛓ At Genesis 6:11, we read that more than 1,500 years after that incident, the earth was “filled with violence.” Again, what was God’s reaction? He commanded righteous Noah to build an ark that would keep him and his family safe while Jehovah brought a deluge on the earth, thus ‘bringing to ruin’ that violent society. (Genesis 6:12-14, 17) But what had caused the populace to be so bent on violence? ⛓??⚔️??⛓ The Influence of Demons The Genesis account reveals that sons of God, disobedient angels, had materialized as humans, married women, and produced offspring. (Genesis 6:1-4) The offspring, known as Nephilim, were men of extraordinary size and fame. Under the influence of their demon fathers, they became violent bullies. When the floodwaters rose and covered the earth, these wicked bullies perished. But the demons apparently dematerialized and returned to the spirit realm. ⛓??⚔️??⛓ The Bible makes clear that since then, these rebel angels have exerted a strong influence on humans. (Ephesians 6:12) Their leader, Satan, is called the original “manslayer.” (John 8:44) Hence, the violence that takes place on earth could properly be referred to as demonic, or satanic. ⛓??⚔️??⛓ The Bible warns of the seductive power of violence. At Proverbs 16:29, it states: “A man of violence will seduce his fellow, and certainly causes him to go in a way that is not good.” Many today have been seduced into approving of, promoting, or perpetrating acts of violence. Also, millions of people have been enticed into enjoying entertainment that glorifies violence. The words of Psalm 73:6 can accurately be used to describe today’s generation. The psalmist says: “Haughtiness has served as a necklace to them; violence envelops them as a garment.” ⛓??⚔️??⛓ In harmony with these words, Christians avoid association with those who promote or perpetrate violence. Clearly, God hates those who promote violence. The Bible states: “Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one, and anyone loving violence His soul certainly hates.” (Psalm 11:5) Christians are admonished to avoid all forms of uncontrolled anger, even verbal violence.—Galatians 5:19-21;Ephesians 4:31. ??????? 24. Wise in Heart”—Yet Humble! ???????? Jehovah’s humility is manifest in yet another beautiful quality—reasonableness. ???????? This quality is sadly lacking among imperfect humans. Not only is Jehovah willing to listen to his intelligent creatures but he is also willing to yield when there is no conflict with righteous principles. As used in the Bible, the word “reasonable” literally means “yielding.” This quality too is a hallmark of divine wisdom. In what sense is the all-wise Jehovah reasonable? For one thing, he is adaptable. Remember, his very name teaches us that Jehovah causes himself to become whatever is needed in order to fulfill his purposes. (Exodus 3:14) ???????? Humans can only try to imitate such perfect adaptability. All too often, though, humans and their organizations are more rigid than adaptable, more unreasonable than yielding. To illustrate: A supertanker or a freight train might be awesome in terms of size and power. But can either one respond to sudden changes in circumstance? If an obstacle falls across the tracks in front of a freight train, turning is out of the question. Sudden stops are not much easier. A heavy freight train may take over a mile to stop after the brakes are applied! Similarly, a supertanker may coast onward for five miles [8 km] after the engines are shut off. Even if the engines are thrown into reverse, the tanker may still plow on for two miles [3 km]! It is similar with human organizations that are prone to rigidity and unreasonableness. ???????? Because of pride, men often refuse to adapt to changing needs and circumstances. Such rigidity has bankrupted corporations and even toppled governments. (Proverbs 16:18) How happy we can be that neither Jehovah nor his organization is anything like that! jw.org
