  1. "How long, O Jehovah, must I cry for help, but you do not hear? ????? How long must I ask for help from violence, but you do not intervene?" (Hab.1:2,3) ????? "How long, O Jehovah, will you forget me? Forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long will I have anxious concern, With grief in my heart each day? How long will my enemy triumph over me?" (Ps.13:1,2) ????? “Sometimes, though, a trialsome situation lingers. We may be struggling with a chronic illness, with prolonged opposition from close family members, or with constant persecution. And what about those grievous personality conflicts we occasionally experience with someone in the congregation? ????? For instance, you may be hurt by a remark that you consider to be unkind. ‘This should not happen in God’s organization!’ you exclaim. Yet, the brother who made the remark receives privileges in the congregation and seems to be well-thought-of by others. ‘How can this be?’ you wonder. ‘Does Jehovah not see? Will he not act?’” ????? “Jehovah may have valid reasons for not stepping in. For instance, while you may feel that the other party bears most of the blame, God may view things differently. ” ????? “Jehovah may hold off from intervening in our trials because he wants us to receive vital training. (Read 1 Peter 5:6-10.) No, God does not cause trials. (Jas. 1:13) “Your adversary, the Devil,” is causing most adversities. ????? Yet, God can use a difficult situation to help us grow spiritually. He sees our suffering, and “because he cares” for us, he will make sure that it will continue only for “a little while.”

  3. Proverbs 26:20 "Where there is no wood, the fire goes out, And where there is no slanderer, quarreling ceases." ??? Gossip is idle personal talk; groundless rumor. Slander is defamation, generally malicious, whether oral or written. ??? Gossip can lead to slander, becoming disastrous to the slanderer. The wisdom of the words at Ecclesiastes 10:12-14 is very evident: “The lips of the stupid one swallow him up. The start of the words of his mouth is foolishness, and the end afterward of his mouth is calamitous madness. And the foolish one speaks many words.” ??? Gossip is talk that reveals something about the doings and the affairs of other persons. It may be unfounded rumor, even a lie, and although the gossiper may not know the untruthfulness of the rumor, he spreads it nevertheless, thereby making himself responsible for propagating a lie. It may be someone’s faults and mistakes that the gossiper is talking about. But even if the things said are true, the gossiper is in the wrong and reveals lack of love. The proverb says: “The one covering over transgression is seeking love, and he that keeps talking about a matter is separating those familiar with one another.”—Pr 17:9. ??? Slander, in causing contention (Pr 16:28), thus produces certain “works of the flesh” (such as hatreds, contentions, and divisions) that will prevent the slanderer and others he leads into wrongdoing from inheriting God’s Kingdom. (Ga 5:19-21) Though the slanderer may be sly and deceitful, his badness will be uncovered in the congregation. (Pr 26:20-26) ??? New World TranslationProverbs 20:19 A slanderer goes about revealing confidential talk; Do not associate with one who loves to gossip." ??? https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200001746?q=prov+26%3A20&p=par
  4. Was There Really a Garden of Eden? ????? DO YOU know the story of Adam and Eve and the garden of Eden? It is familiar to people around the world. Why not read it for yourself? ????? You will find it at Genesis 1:26–3:24. Here is the gist of the story: Jehovah God* forms a man from the dust, names him Adam, and settles him in a garden in a region called Eden. God himself planted this garden. It is well-watered and abundant with beautiful fruit-bearing trees. At its center is “the tree of the knowledge of good and bad.” ????? God forbids humans to eat from this tree, stating that disobedience will result in death. In time, Jehovah makes a companion for Adam—the woman Eve—forming her from one of Adam’s ribs. God gives them the job of caring for the garden and tells them to multiply and fill the earth. ????? When Eve is alone, a serpent ?? speaks to her, tempting her to eat the forbidden fruit by cla iming that God has lied to her and is withholding something good, something that will make her godlike. She gives in and eats the forbidden fruit. Later, Adam joins her in disobeying God. Jehovah responds by pronouncing sentence on Adam, Eve, and the serpent. After the humans are expelled from the paradisaic garden, the angels block the entrance. ????? Among scholars, intellectuals, and historians, it was once popular to attest that the events recorded in the Bible book of Genesis were true and historical. These days, skepticism about all such matters is more in fashion. But what is the basis for the doubts about the Genesis account of Adam, Eve, and the garden of Eden? Let us examine four common objections. ????? 1. Was the garden of Eden a real place? 2. Is it really believable that God formed Adam from dust and Eve from one of Adam’s ribs? 3. The tree of knowledge and the tree of life seem mythical. 4. A serpent that talks seems to belong to fairy-tale lore. ????? The Most Compelling Evidence Would you not agree that the skepticism about the Genesis account has little real basis? On the other hand, there is powerful evidence that the account is true history. For example, Jesus Christ is called “the faithful and true witness.” (Revelation 3:14) ????? Being a perfect man, he never lied, never misrepresented the truth in any way. What is more, he taught that he had existed long before his life as a man on earth—in fact, he had lived alongside his Father, Jehovah, “before the world was.” (John 17:5) So he was alive when life on earth began. What is the testimony of this most reliable of all witnesses? ????? Jesus spoke of Adam and Eve as real people. He referred to their marriage when explaining Jehovah’s standard of monogamy. ????? (Matthew 19:3-6) And Pharisees came up to him, intent on tempting him and saying: “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife on every sort of ground?” 4 In reply he said: “Did YOU not read that he who created them from [the] beginning made them male and female 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and his mother and will stick to his wife, and the two will be one flesh’? 6 So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has yoked together let no man put apart.” ????? If they never existed and the garden in which they lived was a mere myth, then either Jesus was deceived or he was a liar. Neither conclusion is feasible! Jesus had been in heaven, watching as the tragedy unfolded in the garden. What evidence could be more convincing than that? ????? In reality, disbelief in the Genesis account undermines faith in Jesus. Such disbelief also makes it impossible to understand some of the Bible’s greatest themes and most reassuring promises.
  5. "God is greater than our hearts and knows all things." —1 John 3:20. ????? "Jehovah Is “the Rewarder of Those Earnestly Seeking Him” “He that approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him.”—HEBREWS 11:6 ????? What is meant by the phrase “God is greater than our hearts”? At times, our heart may condemn us, especially when we become painfully aware of our imperfections and shortcomings. Or it may be that because of our background, we have an inordinate tendency to think negatively of ourselves, as if nothing we do could be acceptable to Jehovah. ????? The apostle John’s words assure us that Jehovah is greater than that! He sees past our mistakes and perceives our real potential. He also knows our motives and intentions. David wrote: “He himself well knows the formation of us, remembering that we are dust.” (Psalm 103:14) Yes, Jehovah knows us better than we know ourselves! ????? http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2005566?q=god+is+greater+than+our+hearts&p=par
  6. 105 "Your word is a lamp to my foot, And a light for my path." (Psalms 119:105). ?Trust in Jehovah’s Word ? “I have trusted in your word.”—PSALM 119:42. ??????? JEHOVAH’S word was cherished by the composer of Psalm 119. He may have been Prince Hezekiah of Judah. Sentiments expressed in this inspired song fit the spirit of Hezekiah, who “kept sticking to Jehovah” while serving as king of Judah. (2 Kings 18:3-7) ??????? Hezekiah, who may have written Psalm 119, chose “the way of faithfulness.” He did so even though he was surrounded by false worshipers and may have been ridiculed by members of the royal court. Very likely, ‘his soul was sleepless from grief’ because of such circumstances. (Psalm 119:28) But Hezekiah trusted in God, was a good king, and did “what was right in Jehovah’s eyes.” (2 Kings 18:1-5) With reliance on God, we too can endure trials as integrity keepers.—James 1:5-8. ??????? If we awaken at night, what a fine opportunity we have to express gratitude to God in prayer! (Psalm 119:57, 62) Our appreciation for God’s word moves us to seek divine teaching and makes us the joyful ‘partners of those fearing Jehovah’—individuals having reverential awe for God. 7. Confidently Press On With Complete Trust in God! ????? (Psalm 4:8) . . ."In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For you yourself alone, O Jehovah, make me dwell in security." ?????David concludes this psalm with the words: “In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you yourself alone, O Jehovah, make me dwell in security.” (Ps. 4:8) ????? When the Israelites kept Jehovah’s Law, they were at peace with him and felt secure. For instance, ‘Judah and Israel dwelt in security’ during Solomon’s reign. (1 Ki. 4:25) Those trusting in God enjoyed peace even when neighboring nations were hostile. Like David, we sleep peacefully because God makes us feel secure. ????? Let us confidently press on in Jehovah’s service. May we also pray in faith and thus experience “the peace of God that excels all thought.” (Phil. 4:6, 7) What joy that brings us! And we can surely face the future with confidence if we maintain complete trust in Jehovah.
  8. The Divine Name That Will Endure Forever ?יהוה? "Hallowed Be Your Name"—What Name? ?יהוה? (Psalm 83:18) "That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth." ?יהוה? -ARE you a religious person? Then doubtless, like many others, you believe in a Supreme Being. And likely you have great respect for the well-known prayer to that Being, taught by Jesus to his followers and known as the Lord's Prayer, or the Our Father. The prayer begins like this: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name."—Matthew 6:9, New International Version. ?יהוה? Have you ever wondered why Jesus put the 'hallowing,' or sanctifying, of God's name first in this prayer? Afterward, he mentioned other things such as the coming of God's Kingdom, God's will being done on earth and our sins being forgiven. The fulfillment of these other requests will ultimately mean lasting peace on earth and everlasting life for mankind. Can you think of anything more important than that? Nevertheless, Jesus told us to pray first of all for the sanctification of God's name. ?יהוה? It was not merely by chance that Jesus taught his followers to put God's name first in their prayers. That name was clearly of crucial importance to him, since he mentioned it repeatedly in his own prayers. On one occasion when he was praying publicly to God, he was heard to say: "Father, glorify your name!" And God himself answered: "I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again."—John 12:28, The Jerusalem Bible. ?יהוה? The evening before Jesus died, he was praying to God in the hearing of his disciples, and once again they heard him highlight the importance of God's name. He said: "I have made your name known to the men you took from the world to give me." Later, he repeated: "I have made your name known to them and will continue to make it known."—John 17:6, 26, JB. ?יהוה? Why was God's name so important to Jesus? Why did he show that it is important for us, too, by telling us to pray for its sanctification? To understand this, we need to realize how names were viewed in Bible times. ?יהוה? Names in Bible Times Jehovah God evidently put in man a desire to name things. The first human had a name, Adam. In the story of creation, one of the first things Adam is reported as doing is naming the animals. When God gave Adam a wife, immediately Adam called her "Woman" (’Ish·shah', in Hebrew). Later, he gave her the name Eve, meaning "Living One," because "she had to become the mother of everyone living." (Genesis 2:19, 23; 3:20) Even today we follow the custom of giving names to people. Indeed, it is hard to imagine how we could manage without names. ?יהוה? In Israelite times, however, names were not mere labels. They meant something. For example, the name of Isaac, "Laughter," recalled the laughter of his aged parents when they first heard that they were to have a child. (Genesis 17:17, 19; 18:12) Esau's name meant "Hairy," describing a physical characteristic. His other name, Edom, "Red," or "Ruddy," was a reminder that he sold his birthright for a dish of red stew. (Genesis 25:25, 30-34; 27:11; 36:1) Jacob, although he was only slightly younger than his twin brother, Esau, bought the birthright from Esau and received the firstborn's blessing from his father. From birth, the meaning of Jacob's name was "Taking Hold of the Heel" or "Supplanter." (Genesis 27:36) Similarly the name of Solomon, during whose reign Israel enjoyed peace and prosperity, meant "Peaceable."—1 Chronicles 22:9. ?יהוה? Angels, people, animals, as well as stars and other inanimate things, have names. Would it be consistent for the Creator of all these things to be nameless? ?יהוה? Thus, The Illustrated Bible Dictionary (Volume 1, page 572) states the following: "A study of the word 'name' in the O[ld] T[estament] reveals how much it means in Hebrew. The name is no mere label, but is significant of the real personality of him to whom it belongs." ?יהוה? The fact that God views names as important is seen in that, through an angel, he instructed the future parents of John the Baptist and Jesus as to what their sons' names should be. (Luke 1:13, 31) And at times he changed names, or he gave people additional names, to show the place they were to have in his purpose. For example, when God foretold that his servant Abram ("Father of Exaltation") would become father to many nations He changed his name to Abraham ("Father of a Multitude"). And he changed the name of Abraham's wife, Sarai ("Contentious"), to Sarah ("Princess"), since she would be the mother of Abraham's seed.—Genesis 17:5, 15, 16; compare Genesis 32:28; 2 Samuel 12:24, 25. ?יהוה? Jesus, too, recognized the importance of names and he referred to Peter's name in giving him a privilege of service. (Matthew 16:16-19) Even spirit creatures have names. Two mentioned in the Bible are Gabriel and Michael. (Luke 1:26; Jude 9) And when man gives names to inanimate things such as stars, planets, towns, mountains and rivers, he is merely imitating his Creator. For example, the Bible tells us that God calls all the stars by name.—Isaiah 40:26. ?יהוה? Yes, names are important in God's eyes, and he put in man the desire to identify people and things by means of names. Thus angels, people, animals, as well as stars and other inanimate things, have names. Would it be consistent for the Creator of all these things to leave himself nameless? Of course not, especially in view of the psalmist's words: "Let all flesh bless [God's] holy name to time indefinite, even forever."—Psalm 145:21. ?יהוה? The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology (Volume 2, page 649) says: "One of the most fundamental and essential features of the biblical revelation is the fact that God is not without a name: he has a personal name, by which he can, and is to be, invoked." Jesus certainly had that name in mind when he taught his followers to pray: "Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified."—Matthew 6:9. ?יהוה? In view of all of this, it is evidently important for us to know what God's name is. Do you know God's personal name? What Is God's Name? Surprisingly, the majority of the hundreds of millions of members of the churches of Christendom would probably find it difficult to answer that question. Some would say that God's name is Jesus Christ. Yet Jesus was praying to someone else when he said: "I have made your name manifest to the men you gave me out of the world." (John 17:6) He was praying to God in heaven, as a son speaking to his father. (John 17:1) It was his heavenly Father's name that had to be "hallowed," or "sanctified." ?יהוה? Yet many modern Bibles do not contain the name, and it is rarely used in the churches. Hence, far from being "hallowed," it has been lost to millions of Bible readers. As an example of the way Bible translators have treated God's name, consider just one verse where it appears: Psalm 83:18. Here is how this scripture is rendered in four different Bibles: ?יהוה? "Let them know that thou alone, whose name is the LORD, art the Most High over all the earth." (Revised Standard Version of 1952) ?יהוה? "To teach them that thou, O Eternal, thou art God Most High o'er all the world." (A New Translation of the Bible, by James Moffatt, of 1922) ?יהוה? "Let them know this: you alone bear the name Yahweh, Most High over the whole world." (Catholic Jerusalem Bible of 1966) ?יהוה? "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth." (Authorized, or King James, Version of 1611) ?יהוה? Why does God's name look so different in these versions? Is his name LORD, the Eternal, Yahweh or Jehovah? Or are these all acceptable? ?יהוה? To answer this, we have to remember that the Bible was not originally written in English. The Bible writers were Hebrews, and they mostly wrote in the Hebrew and Greek languages of their day. Most of us do not speak those ancient languages. But the Bible has been translated into numerous modern tongues, and we can use these translations when we want to read God's Word. ?יהוה? Christians have a deep respect for the Bible and rightly believe that "all Scripture is inspired of God." (2 Timothy 3:16) Hence, translating the Bible is a weighty responsibility. If someone deliberately changes or omits part of the contents of the Bible, he is tampering with the inspired Word. To such a one the Scriptural warning would apply: "If anyone makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll; and if anyone takes anything away from the words of the scroll of this prophecy, God will take his portion away from the trees of life."—Revelation 22:18, 19; see also Deuteronomy 4:2. ?יהוה? God's name was clearly of crucial importance to Jesus, since he mentioned it repeatedly in his prayers ?יהוה? Most Bible translators doubtless respect the Bible and sincerely want to make it understandable in this modern age. But translators are not inspired. Most of them have strong opinions, too, on religious matters and may be influenced by personal ideas and preferences. They can also make human errors or mistakes in judgment. ?יהוה? Hence, we have the right to ask some important questions: What is God's real name? And why do different Bible translations have different names for God? Having established the answer to these questions, we can return to our original problem: Why is the sanctification of God's name so important? ?יהוה? 9. WE NEED TO KEEP STRONG FOR THOSE THAT ARE NOT AND KEEP SUPPORTING ONE ANOTHER! - THIS MEANS THAT THE END IS CLOSER THAN WE THINK? - SOON ALL OUR TEARS WILL BE GONE FOREVER! - HOLD ON ~ ????????? (1 Peter 4:7) But the end of all things has drawn close. Be sound in mind, therefore, and be vigilant with a view to prayers." ????????? The Quality of Your Faith—Tested Now “Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you meet with various trials, knowing as you do that this tested quality of your faith works out endurance.”—JAMES 1:2, 3 ????????? The apostle Peter also highlighted why we need not fear or shrink back from tests of our faith. He wrote: “In this fact you are greatly rejoicing, though for a little while at present, if it must be, you have been grieved by various trials, in order that the tested quality of your faith, of much greater value than gold that perishes despite its being proved by fire, may be found a cause for praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:6, 7) ????????? These words are especially encouraging now because the “great tribulation”—the time of praise, glory, honor, and survival—is much closer than some may think and much closer than when we became believers. ????????? (Matthew 24:21-22) . . .for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short." ????????? (Romans 13:11-13) 11 [Do] this, too, because YOU people know the season, that it is already the hour for YOU to awake from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than at the time when we became believers. 12 The night is well along; the day has drawn near. Let us therefore put off the works belonging to darkness and let us put on the weapons of the light." ????????? (Matthew 24:33-35) . . ."Likewise also YOU, when YOU see all these things, know that he is near at the doors. 34 Truly I say to YOU that this generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away." ????????? (Romans 12:3) "For through the undeserved kindness given to me I tell everyone there among YOU not to think more of himself than it is necessary to think; but to think so as to have a sound mind, each one as God has distributed to him a measure of faith." ????????? (1 Timothy 3:2) The overseer should therefore be irreprehensible, a husband of one wife, moderate in habits, sound in mind, orderly, hospitable, qualified to teach." ????????? (Titus 2:6) Likewise keep on exhorting the younger men to be sound in mind." ????????? (Colossians 4:2) 2 Be persevering in prayer, remaining awake in it with thanksgiving."
  10. ALMIGHTY GOD JEHOVAH - THERE IS ONLY ONE! ????? NOW WHAT SIDE DO YOU WANT TO BE ON? - ITS YOUR DECISION? ~ ????? The word “Almighty” is translated from the Hebrew word Shad·dai′ and the Greek word Pan·to·kra′tor. Both words evidently convey the idea of strength or power. Might implies strength or power to perform and to accomplish a thing purposed, as well as to overcome obstacles or opposition, and Jehovah’s almightiness manifests his irresistible power to accomplish his purpose. ????? Yes, Jehovah is the Almighty God only! His Son is the "Mighty God" mentioned at this verse: (Isaiah 9:6-7) "For there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 7 To the abundance of the princely rule and to peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom in order to establish it firmly and to sustain it by means of justice and by means of righteousness, from now on and to time indefinite. The very zeal of Jehovah of armies will do this." ????? (Revelation 19:13-16) 13 and he is arrayed with an outer garment sprinkled with blood, and the name he is called is The Word of God. 14 Also, the armies that were in heaven were following him on white horses, and they were clothed in white, clean, fine linen. 15 And out of his mouth there protrudes a sharp long sword, that he may strike the nations with it, and he will shepherd them with a rod of iron. He treads too the winepress of the anger of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 And upon his outer garment, even upon his thigh, he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords." ????? (Genesis 17:1-2) . . .When A′bram got to be ninety-nine years old, then Jehovah appeared to A′bram and said to him: “I am God Almighty. Walk before me and prove yourself faultless. 2 And I will give my covenant between me and you, that I may multiply you very, very much.. . ." ????? (Revelation 16:14) 14 They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty." ????? (Isaiah 13:6) 6 “Howl, YOU people, for the day of Jehovah is near! As a despoiling from the Almighty it will come. . ." ????? (Revelation 1:8) 8 “I am the Al′pha and the O·me′ga,” says Jehovah God, “the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty. . ." ????? (Revelation 11:17-18) 17 saying: “We thank you, Jehovah God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and begun ruling as king. 18 But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.. . ." ????? (Revelation 16:14) 14 They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty." ????? (Revelation 16:5-7) . . .And I heard the angel over the waters say: “You, the One who is and who was, the loyal One, are righteous, because you have rendered these decisions, 6 because they poured out the blood of holy ones and of prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. 11. Who is the Judge over All? - Man? No of course not! He is limited in his knowledge! ~ Our Lord Christ Jesus, God's Appointed King ? ??⚖️?? "If anyone thinks he has acquired knowledge of something, he does not yet know it just as he ought to know it."—1 Cor. 8:2 Do we really know all the details that led up to a dispute? 12. We Are Glad to Have a Shepherd that Cares! ~ ????????? (John 10:7-11) . . .: “Most truly I say to YOU, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All those that have come in place of me are thieves and plunderers; but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the door; whoever enters through me will be saved, and he will go in and out and find pasturage. 10 The thief does not come unless it is to steal and slay and destroy. I have come that they might have life and might have it in abundance. 11 I am the fine shepherd; the fine shepherd surrenders his soul in behalf of the sheep." ????????? Once there was a good shepherd. He had one hundred sheep. If you would begin counting, “One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten,” you would count on and on before you came to one hundred. One hundred is quite a lot. ????????? The good shepherd lived with his sheep out in the fields. His face was tanned brown by the sun and the wind. His eyes were bright from watching to see that nothing hurt his sheep. He carried a strong stick. He used it to strike any lion or bear that might try to kill his sheep. ????????? He also carried a stick with a curved end, a crook. If a sheep fell into a hole, he would put the crook about its leg or catch it in the thick wool, and pull it out. If a lamb fell into a river, he would put the crook about its little body and draw it safely to land. ????????? Every morning the good shepherd led his sheep to fields where the grass was green, and watched them eat. Every morning he led them to places where the water was quiet and fresh, and watched them drink. ????????? At night, when the black shadows came creeping up the hillsides, the good shepherd called his sheep to the sheepfold. Each sheep had a name. The good shepherd knew them all. He would call, “Rosebud! Olive Blossom! Palm Tree!” and the sheep would answer his call and come to the sheepfold. ????????? Around the sheepfold was a wide stone wall, with thorns on the top, to keep lions and bears from jumping over. The shepherd stood at the door and held the sheep back, one by one, with his stick. If a sheep had fallen down and hurt itself, he bathed the sore spot with oil. If a little lamb was tired out from playing all day long, he rubbed oil on its head, and gave it water to drink from a big cup with two handles. ????????? One day the good shepherd counted his sheep. He began, “One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.” He got up to twenty, to thirty, to eighty, to ninety. There were only a few left. “Ninety-one, ninety-two, ninety-three, ninety-four,” he counted, “ninety-five, ninety-six, ninety-seven, ninety-eight, ninety-nine.” ????????? The next would have been one hundred, but there were no more! One sheep was lost. Oh, how sorry the good shepherd felt! ????????? He left the ninety-nine sheep with another shepherd, and set out at once to hunt for the lost one. Far, far he went, over the hills, through the fields, and along steep, narrow paths. When he passed a hole he looked down into it to see if his lost sheep had fallen in. Now and then he came across a little footprint, which showed him that his sheep had gone that way. Now and then he found bits of white wool caught on the briers. Every once in a while he would call the sheep’s name and listen, but he would hear no answer. Then he would call again and listen — no answer. ? ????????? At last he thought he heard a faint bleat, very faint and far away. He hurried on, and the bleating grew louder and nearer, and louder and nearer, till he came to his lost sheep. It was tired and hungry and frightened. ????????? He lifted it gently, and every step of the way he carried it, held close and warm against his shoulder. He would not let his tired sheep walk. ????????? When he reached home he called together his friends and said, “Be glad with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.” ????????? He was tired, for he had gone far, over the hills, and through the fields, and along the steep, narrow paths, but he did not mind, so long as his sheep was found. He was a good shepherd. ????????? (Matthew 18:12-14) 12 “What do YOU think? If a certain man comes to have a hundred sheep and one of them gets strayed, will he not leave the ninety-nine upon the mountains and set out on a search for the one that is straying? 13 And if he happens to find it, I certainly tell YOU, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that have not strayed. 14 Likewise it is not a desirable thing with my Father who is in heaven for one of these little ones to perish." *** w08 2/1 p. 10 A Shepherd Who Cares *** Draw Close to God A Shepherd Who Cares Matthew 18:12-14

  16. DO YOU BELIEVE WE ARE IN THE LAST DAYS? - WHAT SORT OF PERSONS ARE WE TO FEAR IT? - DO YOU BELIEVE IT? - MANY WOULD NOT BELIEVE IT! - IT WILL COME! - LEARN HOW TO BE SAVED! ????????? Jehovah’s Judgment Will Come Against the Wicked “Get ready to meet your God.”—AMOS 4:12 ??☄️?? (2 Peter 3:3-14) NWT 2013 "First of all know this, that in the last days ridiculers will come with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires 4 and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death, all things are continuing exactly as they were from creation’s beginning.” ??☄️?? 5 For they deliberately ignore this fact, that long ago there were heavens and an earth standing firmly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God; 6 and that by those means the world of that time suffered destruction when it was flooded with water. 7 But by the same word the heavens and the earth that now exist are reserved for fire and are being kept until the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly people. ??☄️? 8 However, do not let this escape your notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. 9 Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. 10 But Jehovah’s day will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar, but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be exposed. ??☄️? 11 Since all these things are to be dissolved in this way, consider what sort of people you ought to be in holy acts of conduct and deeds of godly devotion, 12 as you await and keep close in mind the presence of the day of Jehovah, through which the heavens will be destroyed in flames and the elements will melt in the intense heat! 13 But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell. ??☄️? 14 Therefore, beloved ones, since you are awaiting these things, do your utmost to be found finally by him spotless and unblemished and in peace." ?????????
  17. “Wise in Heart”—Yet Humble! ????? What kind of Father is Jehovah—haughty or humble, harsh or mild? Jehovah is all-knowing, all-wise. Have you noticed, though, that knowledge and intelligence do not necessarily make people humble? As the Bible says, “knowledge puffs up.” (1 Corinthians 3:19; 8:1) ????? But Jehovah, who is “wise in heart,” is also humble. (Job 9:4) Not that he is in any way low in position or lacking in grandeur, but he is devoid of haughtiness. Why is that so? ????? Jehovah is holy. So haughtiness, a quality that defiles, is not in him. (Mark 7:20-22) Further, note what the prophet Jeremiah said to Jehovah: “Without fail your soul [Jehovah himself] will remember and bow low over me.”* (Lamentations 3:20) ????? Imagine! Jehovah, the Sovereign Lord of the universe, was willing to “bow low,” or come down to Jeremiah’s level, in order to give that imperfect human favorable attention. (Psalm 113:7) ????? How Jehovah Proves to Be Humble Humility is lowliness of mind, absence of arrogance and pride. An inner quality of the heart, humility is manifest in such traits as mildness, patience, and reasonableness. (Galatians 5:22, 23) ????? Jehovah is reasonable in what he expects of us. King David said: “He himself well knows the formation of us, remembering that we are dust.” (Psalm 103:14) Jehovah understands our limitations and our imperfections better than we ourselves do. He never expects of us more than we can do. The Bible contrasts those human masters who are “good and reasonable” with those who are “hard to please.” (1 Peter 2:18) ????? Which type of Master is Jehovah? Note what Proverbs 19:17 says: “He that is showing favor to the lowly one is lending to Jehovah.” Clearly, only a good and reasonable master would take note of every act of kindness performed in behalf of lowly ones. More than that, this scripture suggests that the Creator of the universe, in effect, views himself as indebted to the mere humans who perform such deeds of mercy! Here is humility of the most profound kind. ????? Would you like to know more about Who Jehovah is?
  18. Marriage Should Be a Permanent Bond - Why is Man and Woman not as Innocent as Swans? - There are No Fairy Tales! ~ ???????? JUDGING by the conclusion of many movies, marriage is a desirable goal. Often, the man and the woman finally get together, get married, and live “happily ever after.” In films, that is usually the end of the story. ???????? In reality, the wedding is, not the end, but the beginning of a new life together. And hopefully, as Ecclesiastes 7:8 says, “better is the end afterward of a matter than its beginning.” After the Wedding Day ???????? It has rightly been said that in the life of a Christian, marriage is second in importance only to his or her dedication to God. The latter binds one to the Creator forever, and baptism makes that publicly manifest. ???????? Marriage is the public declaration of commitment to another person—forever. It is unthinkable either to dedicate oneself to God or to forge a marriage bond while having serious reservations. Therefore, those contemplating marriage do well to examine carefully the prospective mate’s beliefs, goals, attitudes, and disposition.

  20. Do You Have the Desires of the Righteous? If It's God's Will, It Will Be Granted! ? ???? "The desire of the righteous ones will be granted. and the righteous one is a foundation to time indefinite." Proverbs 10:24,25 ? ???? Waiting on Jehovah Is a Mark of Faith We may have desires that we long to see fulfilled. Marriage, having children, and good health are all natural and appropriate desires. For many, though, one or more of those desires may go unfulfilled. If that is so in our case, how we deal with the situation may be a measure of our faith. ? ???? What desires do you long to see fulfilled? Is your faith strong enough for you to wait on Jehovah, who promises to satisfy your proper yearnings? (Ps. 145:16) As was true with Abraham, the fulfillment of some divine promises may not come as soon as we would like. Still, Jehovah values our developing faith like Abraham’s and our acting in harmony with it. Doing so is surely to our ultimate benefit.—Heb. 11:6 ? ???? You can take great comfort in knowing that Jehovah views as belonging to him faithful ones whom he has drawn. Continue to develop faith, humility, and other qualities that further endear you to our God. Being known by Jehovah is undeniably a precious privilege that brings satisfaction to our life now, and it holds out wonderful blessings for the future.—Ps. 37:18
