3. Look! I am making all things new.’ Also, he says: . . . ‘These words are faithful and true.’”—REVELATION 21:5. Beautiful moving picture Enjoy! IMG_3461.mov
  4. Give Honor to Whom It Is Due “To the One sitting on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing and the honor and the glory and the might forever.”—REVELATION 5:13. Revelation 5:13 says that “the One sitting on the throne” and “the Lamb” deserve honor. “The One sitting on the throne” refers to Jehovah. In Revelation chapter 4, the creatures in heaven give us one reason why Jehovah, “the One who lives forever and ever,” deserves to be honored. They say: “You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created.”—Revelation 4:9-11. “The Lamb” mentioned at Revelation 5:13 is Jesus Christ. How do we know? When he was on earth, Jesus was called “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” (John 1:29) What other king has ever willingly died as a ransom for his subjects? That is certainly a good reason to honor him. Jesus deserves honor because “he is the King of those who rule as kings and Lord of those who rule as lords.” (1 Timothy 6:14-16) Maybe you feel as do the creatures in heaven who sing: “The Lamb who was slaughtered is worthy to receive the power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.”—Revelation 5:12. John 5:22, 23 says that Jehovah has made Christ the judge of all humans. That is a main reason why we should honor Jesus. And when we do this, we also honor Jehovah. When we choose to honor Jesus and his Father, we can have everlasting life.—Read Psalm 2:11, 12. There are some people who deserve our honor or respect because of their position. For example, think about government officials and what they do for you. They help to keep neighborhoods safe and to care for the needs of their citizens. There are many benefits to their work. The apostle Paul said that we should view these government authorities as “superior authorities.” He also said that we should follow their laws: “Render to all their dues: to the one who calls for the tax, the tax,” and “to the one who calls for honor, such honor.”—Romans 13:1, 7. Humans were created “in God’s image.” (Genesis 1:27) This means that most people have the ability to show qualities similar to God’s. For example, humans can show love, kindness, and compassion. Humans were also created with a conscience, a sense of what is right or wrong, honest or dishonest, appropriate or not appropriate. (Romans 2:14, 15) Most people like things that are clean and beautiful and want to live in peace with others. This is not surprising, because Jehovah is a God of order and peace. Clearly, all humans were created with the ability to imitate Jehovah in one way or another. For this reason, they deserve our honor and respect.—Psalm 8:5. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/402017322?q=rev+5&p=par#h=13
  5. WILL FEAR STOP THE GOOD NEWS OR GOD'S WILL? (John 15:19) Because of peer pressure, some men may hesitate to follow Christ fully. Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea kept their interest in Jesus secret because they were afraid of what other Jews might say or do if they found out. (John 3:1, 2; 19:38) This fear was not imaginary. The religious leaders’ hatred for Jesus eventually became so great that anyone who confessed faith in him was expelled from the synagogue. In some places today, if a man takes too much interest in God, the Bible, or religion, he may be harassed by his workmates, friends, or relatives. In other places, it may even be dangerous to talk about changing one’s religion. Peer pressure can be especially difficult when a man is actively serving in the military, in politics, or in the local community. For example, a man in Germany admitted: “What you Witnesses preach about the Bible is true. But if I became a Witness today, by tomorrow everyone would know about it. What would they think at work, in the neighborhood, and at the club my family and I belong to? I could not put up with that.” Although none of Jesus’ apostles were cowards, they all struggled with fear of man. (Mark 14:50, 66-72) How did Jesus help them to progress despite intense pressure from their peers? Jesus took steps to prepare his disciples for the opposition they would later face. “Happy are you whenever men hate you,” he said, “and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.” (Luke 6:22) Jesus warned his followers that they should expect reproach. Any reproach was “for the sake of the Son of man.” Jesus also assured them that God would back them up as long as they relied on Him for help and strength. (Luke 12:4-12) Moreover, Jesus invited new ones to associate freely with his disciples and make friends with them. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2011844?q=fear+of+man&p=par
  6. @James Thomas Rook Jr. I got some "Good News" for you! One of many Enjoy! Mexico While preaching from house to house, Gabino, a pioneer brother, came to a home and knocked on the door. No answer. He knocked again and then a third time. After pausing, he knocked a fourth time. The door opened, and an anguished man stood there crying. He immediately invited Gabino in but could not talk because he was so upset. Gabino began to speak comfortingly about the good news, and the man calmed down. “Do you see that chair over there?” asked the man. “When you knocked the third time, I was standing on that chair. Do you see that rope up there? When you knocked the fourth time, I had the noose around my neck. But I took it off to answer the door. Thank you for persisting because if you had not, I would have hung myself.” He explained that he was distraught over problems with his wife. Gabino made arrangements for a Bible study. Usually, this pioneer knocks only once or twice at a door. But this time his persistence, perhaps under angelic direction, brought fine results. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/302010016?q=not+home&p=par THE ANGELS ARE DIRECTING OUR WORK, WE ARE LOOKING ONLY FOR SOULS THAT HAVE LOVE AND DESPERATION TO NEED AND WANT HELP! 8. “You, the One who is and who was, the loyal One, are righteous, because you have rendered these decisions.”:—Rev. 16:5. Jehovah cherishes the loyalty of his worshippers, and he repays it with loyalty toward them.—Prov. 2:6-8. God’s punishment of the wicked is in itself an act of loyalty. How? One indication is found in the book of Revelation in the commands that Jehovah issues to seven angels: “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the anger of God into the earth.” When the third angel pours his bowl “into the rivers and the fountains of the waters,” they become blood. Then the angel says to Jehovah: “You, the One who is and who was, the loyal One, are righteous, because you have rendered these decisions, because they poured out the blood of holy ones and of prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve it.”—Revelation 16:1-6. Note that in the midst of delivering that message of judgment, the angel refers to Jehovah as “the loyal One.” Why? Because by destroying the wicked, Jehovah is displaying loyalty to his servants, many of whom have been persecuted to the point of death. Loyally, Jehovah keeps such ones very much alive in his memory. He yearns to see these departed faithful ones again, and the Bible confirms that his purpose is to reward them with a resurrection. (Job 14:14, 15) Jehovah does not forget his loyal servants simply because they are no longer alive. On the contrary, “they are all living to him.” (Luke 20:37, 38) Jehovah’s purpose to bring back to life those who are in his memory is powerful evidence of his loyalty. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1102002053?q=rev+16%3A5&p=par

  10. “He fell in love with her."—Gen. 24:67. Consider the loving marriage of Isaac and Rebekah. They learned to convey their thoughts and feelings to each other honestly, yet kindly, by cultivating and displaying insight, love, deep respect, and humility. The mission was bound to succeed, for from the very outset the whole matter of choice was placed in the hands of Jehovah. As it turned out, Isaac’s cousin Rebekah proved to be God’s choice, and she, in turn, willingly left her relatives and family to accompany the caravan back to the land of the Negeb where Isaac lived. The account tells of the meeting of the two for the first time and then says: “After that Isaac brought her into the tent of Sarah his mother. Thus he took Rebekah and she became his wife; and he fell in love with her, and Isaac found comfort after the loss of his mother.” (Ge 24:10-67) Isaac being 40, the marriage took place in 1878 B.C.E.—Ge 25:20. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200002203?q=gen+24%3A67&p=par
  11. Can Anyone Really Change the World? “Poor people tell us that, above all, they want peace and security—and then opportunities to make their lives better. They want fair national and international systems so that their efforts are not thwarted by the overriding power of rich countries and rich companies.” THAT is how the director of one international relief agency described the hopes and aspirations of poor people. In fact, her words could well describe the desire of all victims of the world’s tragedies and injustices. All of them long for a world of true peace and security. Will such a world ever become a reality? Does anyone really have the power and ability to change what is fundamentally an unfair world? “Do Not Forget the Doing of Good” Does this mean that it is pointless to do whatever we can to help other people? By no means. The Bible encourages us to help others when they face trials and distressing circumstances. “Do not hold back good from those to whom it is owing, when it happens to be in the power of your hand to do it,” writes ancient King Solomon. (Proverbs 3:27) “Do not forget the doing of good and the sharing of things with others,” urges the apostle Paul.—Hebrews 13:16. Jesus Christ will not bring about a partial, temporary change. He will totally eliminate all barriers to a truly fair world. He will remove sin and imperfection and destroy Satan the Devil and all those who follow his rebellious course. (Revelation 19:19, 20; 20:1-3, 10) The distress and suffering that God has temporarily permitted “will not rise up a second time.” (Nahum 1:9) This is what Jesus had in mind when he taught us to pray for God’s Kingdom to come and for God’s will to take place “as in heaven, also upon earth.”—Matthew 6:10. While we wait for that to happen, let us never hesitate to do anything we can, both spiritually and materially, to “work what is good” toward all those who are victims of an unfair world.—Galatians 6:10. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2008362?q=doing+good+to+others&p=par www.jw.org
  12. Comfort From God’s Word The Bible is a strengthening aid for many who suffer from “disquieting thoughts.” (Psalm 94:17-19, 22) Hope for Sufferers IN THE past, people tended to avoid those who suffered from mood disorders. As a result, many who were afflicted became social outcasts. Some encountered job discrimination. Others were shunned by members of their own family. Often, this only aggravated the problem and prevented those who were ailing from getting help. When Medication Is Prescribed Some feel that taking medication is a sign of weakness. But think of it this way: A diabetic must submit to a program of treatment that may include taking insulin injections. Is this a sign of failure? Hardly! It is simply a means of balancing the body’s nutrients so that the sufferer can remain healthy. It is much the same with taking medication for depressive and bipolar disorders. Although many people have been helped by a program of counseling that has enabled them to understand their illness, a caution is in order. When a chemical imbalance is involved, the illness cannot be simply reasoned away with logic. Steven, a bipolar patient, relates: “The medical professional who treated me illustrated it this way: You can give a person all the driving lessons in the world, but if you give that person a car with no steering wheel or brakes, then those lessons won’t do much good. In the same way, giving only cognitive counseling to a depressed person may not attain the desired results. Balancing the brain’s chemistry is a valuable first step.” One practical step is to take care of yourself physically and otherwise. A healthful diet, proper rest, and adequate exercise all help you to look and feel your best. Being neat, clean, and well-groomed not only makes you more desirable to be around but also gives you a healthy measure of self-respect. However, do not fall into the trap of becoming overly concerned about outward appearances. “Wearing fashionable clothing doesn’t make any difference in finding real friends,” notes Gaëlle, from France. “What good people are looking for is the inner person.” After all, our innermost thoughts and feelings affect what we talk about and even how we look. Do you have a confident outlook on life? This will help you to have a happy expression on your face. A genuine smile is the most attractive thing you can wear and, explains body-language expert Roger E. Axtell, “it is absolutely universal” and “is rarely misunderstood.”* Add to that a good sense of humor, and people will be naturally drawn to you. Remember, such good qualities come from the inside. So actively fill your mind and heart with wholesome, positive thoughts and feelings. Read about interesting and meaningful subjects—current events, different cultures, natural phenomena. Listen to uplifting music. But avoid passively allowing TV, movies, and novels to clog your mind and emotions with fantasy. The relationships usually portrayed on the screen are not real life, not real friendships, but the product of someone’s imagination. Other Bible verses: Psalm 39:12: “Do hear my prayer, O Jehovah, and to my cry for help do give ear. At my tears do not keep silent.” 2 Corinthians 7:6: God “comforts the depressed.”—“New American Standard Bible.” 1 Peter 5:7: “Throw all your anxiety upon [God], because he cares for you.” https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/102009243 jw.org

Yes, only by Holy Spirit can this be accomplished and the teachings not of man or Pagan teachings but from the Word of God. “When Jesus returned to heaven, he did not abandon his followers. (Matt. 28:20) He knew firsthand how much the holy spirit, the angels, and God’s Word helped him to take the lead when he was on earth. Therefore, he has supplied the faithful slave today with the same assistance. As anointed Christians, the members of that slave “keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes.” (Rev. 14:4) As we follow their direction, therefore, we follow our Leader, Jesus. Soon, he will lead us to everlasting life. (Rev. 7:14-17) And no human leader can promise that!” Excerpt From: WATCHTOWER. “The Watchtower, February 2017.” THE "TRUTH" SETS US "FREE"! 15. The Ransom—God’s Greatest Gift HOW YOU CAN BENEFIT FROM THE RANSOM We already benefit from God’s greatest gift. Let us see how we benefit now and how we will benefit in the future. Our sins are forgiven. It is hard to do what is right all the time. We make mistakes, and we sometimes say and do the wrong thing. (Colossians 1:13, 14) How can we be forgiven? We should be truly sorry for what we have done wrong and humbly ask Jehovah to forgive us. We can then have the confidence that our sins are forgiven.—1 John 1:8, 9. We can have a good conscience. If our conscience tells us that we have done something wrong, we feel guilty, maybe even hopeless and worthless. But there is no need to give up. If we beg Jehovah for forgiveness, we can be sure that he will listen to us and forgive us. (Hebrews 9:13, 14) Jehovah wants us to talk to him about any of our problems and weaknesses. (Hebrews 4:14-16) As a result, we can be at peace with God. We have the hope of living forever. “The wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) Because Jesus died for us, we can live forever and enjoy perfect health. (Revelation 21:3, 4) But what must we do to receive those blessings? Now that you’ve learned about God’s great love, how can you become his friend? It is not easy to love someone you don’t know. John 17:3 says that we can come to know Jehovah. As you do this, your love for him will deepen, you will want to please him, and you will become his friend. So keep learning about Jehovah by studying the Bible.—1 John 5:3. Accept Jesus’ ransom sacrifice. The Bible says that “the one who exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life.” (John 3:36) What does it mean to exercise faith? It means to do what Jesus taught us to do. (John 13:15) We cannot simply say that we believe in Jesus. To accept the ransom, we must do something about our faith. At James 2:26, we read: “Faith without works is dead.” Jehovah gave his precious Son as a ransom for us. WILL YOU ACCEPT THE RANSOM? Think of how your heart is touched when someone gives you a beautiful gift. The ransom is the most precious gift of all, and we should be deeply grateful to Jehovah for it. John 3:16 tells us that “God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son.” Yes, Jehovah loves us so much that he gave us his precious Son, Jesus. And we know that Jesus also loves us, because he was willing to die for us. (John 15:13) The gift of the ransom should convince you that Jehovah and Jesus really love you.—Galatians 2:20. As we learn about Jehovah, we will become his friend and our love for him will deepen. Attend the Memorial of Christ’s death. The evening before Jesus died, he taught us that we should have a memorial of his death. We do this each year, and it is called the Memorial or “the Lord’s Evening Meal.” (1 Corinthians 11:20; Matthew 26:26-28) Jesus wants us to remember that he gave his perfect life as a ransom for us. He said: “Keep doing this in remembrance of me.” (Read Luke 22:19.) When you attend the Memorial, you show that you remember the ransom and the great love that Jehovah and Jesus have for us. The ransom is the greatest gift we could ever receive. (2 Corinthians 9:14, 15) That precious gift will even benefit millions of people who have already died. Chapters 6 and 7 will discuss how that is possible. SUMMARY TRUTH 1: WE ALL NEED THE RANSOM “The Son of man came . . . to give his life as a ransom in exchange for many.”—Matthew 20:28 Why do we need the ransom? Genesis 3:17-19 When Adam disobeyed God, he lost his special friendship with Jehovah, his perfect life, and his Paradise home. Romans 5:12 Because of what Adam did, we inherited sin and death. Ephesians 1:7 The ransom is Jehovah’s way of freeing humans from sin and death. TRUTH 2: JEHOVAH PROVIDED THE RANSOM “God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might gain life through him.”—1 John 4:9 How did Jehovah provide the ransom? Psalm 49:7, 8 None of us could ever pay the ransom for the perfect life that Adam lost. Luke 1:35 Jehovah sent his precious Son to the earth to be born as a perfect human. Romans 3:23, 24; Hebrews 9:24 After Jesus was resurrected, he returned to heaven, where he gave the value of his perfect human life to Jehovah as the ransom. TRUTH 3: THE RANSOM GIVES US REAL HOPE “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more.”—Revelation 21:4 How can we benefit from the ransom? 1 John 1:8, 9 Our sins can be forgiven. Hebrews 9:13, 14 We can have a clean conscience before God. Romans 6:23 We have the hope of everlasting life. Galatians 2:20 The gift of the ransom proves that Jehovah and Jesus really love us. TRUTH 4: WE NEED TO ACCEPT THE RANSOM “God . . . gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might . . . have everlasting life.”—John 3:16 How can we show we are grateful for God’s gift of the ransom? John 17:3 Come to know Jehovah and Jesus, and imitate them. Luke 22:19 Attend the Memorial of Christ’s death each year. John 3:36; James 2:26 Do more than simply say we believe in Jesus. Do what Jesus taught us to do. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1102015145?q=rom+6%3A23&p=par Ask for a Free Bible Study at jw.org
  16. Act in Harmony With Jesus’ Loving Prayer “Father, . . . glorify your son, that your son may glorify you.”—JOHN 17:1. Jesus talks late into the night, imparting to his disciples precious knowledge from God. Then he raises his eyes to heaven and prays: “Father, the hour has come; glorify your son, that your son may glorify you, according as you have given him authority over all flesh, that, as regards the whole number whom you have given him, he may give them everlasting life. . . . I have glorified you on the earth, having finished the work you have given me to do. So now you, Father, glorify me alongside yourself with the glory that I had alongside you before the world was.”—John 17:1-5. While on earth, Jesus worked hard to help his disciples to overcome their weaknesses. This was essential for them to complete the work that Jesus had started. “Just as you sent me forth into the world,” prays Jesus, “I also sent them forth into the world.” For them to succeed in this lifesaving work, Jesus emphasizes three vital needs. First, he prays that his disciples be no part of Satan’s unholy world. Second, he prays that they may be sanctified, or kept holy, by applying to themselves the truth of God’s Word. Third, Jesus repeatedly begs that his disciples may be united in the same bond of love that exists between him and his Father. This calls for self-examination. Each of us should ask, ‘Am I acting in harmony with Jesus’ three requests?’ By giving attention to these things, Jesus expresses optimism “that the world may believe that you sent me forth.”—Read John 17:15-21. Under the influence of their religious leaders, the majority of people in the world choose to ignore the clear evidence that Jehovah has a united people who truly know him. The same was true respecting Jesus’ day. So he concludes with these endearing words: “Righteous Father, the world has, indeed, not come to know you; but I have come to know you, and these have come to know that you sent me forth. And I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them and I in union with them.”—John 17:25, 26. Who can deny that Jesus has acted in harmony with his prayer? As Head of the congregation, he continues to help us make known his Father’s name and purpose. May we keep on submitting to his headship by zealously obeying his command to preach and make disciples. (Matt. 28:19, 20; Acts 10:42) May we also work hard at preserving our precious unity. By doing these things, we will be acting in harmony with Jesus’ prayer, to the glory of Jehovah’s name and to our eternal happiness. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2013767?q=john+17%3A18&p=par

BY AND LARGE, Christendom’s churches have distanced themselves from God’s name. For example, the Revised Standard Version states in its preface: “The use of any proper name for the one and only God . . . is entirely inappropriate for the universal faith of the Christian Church.” Jehovah’s Witnesses, on the other hand, are proud to bear God’s name and to glorify it. To know God’s name involves much more than merely being acquainted with the word “Jehovah.” It includes knowing Jehovah’s reputation, as well as his qualities, purpose, and activities as revealed in the Bible, such as his dealings with his servants. Of course, Jehovah grants this insight progressively, according to the outworking of his purpose. (Prov. 4:18) Jehovah revealed his name to the first human pair; thus, Eve used it after giving birth to Cain. (Gen. 4:1) The faithful patriarchs Noah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob knew God’s name. Moreover, their appreciation for it grew as Jehovah blessed them, cared for them, and revealed aspects of his purpose to them. Moses was granted special insight into God’s name. Likewise today, Jehovah is ‘proving to be.’ By means of his Son, he foretold that during the last days, the Kingdom message would be preached “in all the inhabited earth.” (Matt. 24:14) Who else but God Almighty could foretell such a work, see that it is done, and use many “unlettered and ordinary” people to accomplish it? (Acts 4:13) Hence, when we share in this work, we actually share in the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. We honor our Father and show that we really mean it when we pray: “Let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.”—Matt. 6:9, 10. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2013206?q=isa43%3A10%2C11&p=par 2 pictures 1 moving and 1 GIF IMG_3337.MP4
  19. "Can you discover the deep things of God? Or discover everything about the Almighty? It is higher than heaven. What can you accomplish?" (Job 11:7,8) Job 38 Then Jehovah answered Job out of the windstorm: 2 “Who is this who is obscuring my counsel And speaking without knowledge? 3 "Brace yourself, please, like a man; I will question you, and you inform me. 4 Where were you when I founded the earth? Tell me, if you think you understand. 5 "Who set its measurements, in case you know, Or who stretched a measuring line across it? 6 "Into what were its pedestals sunk,BOr who laid its cornerstone, 7 "When the morning stars joyfully cried out together, And all the sons of God began shouting in applause? 8 "And who barricaded the sea behind doors When it burst out from the womb, 9 "When I clothed it with clouds And wrapped it in thick gloom, 10 "When I established my limit for it And put its bars and doors in place, 11 "And I said, ‘You may come this far, and no farther; Here is where your proud waves will stop’? 12 "Have you ever commanded the morning Or made the dawn know its place, 13 "To take hold of the ends of the earth And to shake the wicked out of it? 14 It is transformed like clay under a seal,BAnd its features stand out like those of a garment. 15 "But the light of the wicked is held back from them,And their uplifted arm is broken. 16 "Have you gone down to the sources of the sea Or explored the deep waters? 17 "Have the gates of death been revealed to you, Or have you seen the gates of deep darkness? 18 "Have you understood the vast expanse of the earth? Tell me, if you know all of this. 19 "In which direction does the light reside? And where is the place of darkness, 20 "That you should take it to its territory And understand the paths to its home? 21 "Do you know this because you were already born And the number of your years is great? 22 "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, 23 "Which I have reserved for the time of distress, For the day of battle and war? 24 "From what direction is light dispersed, And from where does the east wind blow on the earth? 25 "Who has cut a channel for the flood And made a path for the thunderous storm cloud, 26 "To make it rain where no man lives, On the wilderness where there are no humans, 27 "To satisfy devastated wastelands And cause the grass to sprout? 28 "Does the rain have a father, Or who fathered the dewdrops? 29 "From whose womb did the ice emerge, And who gave birth to the frost of heaven 30 "When the waters are covered as if with stone, And the surface of the deep waters is frozen solid? 31 "Can you tie the ropes of the Kiʹmah constellation Or untie the cords of the Keʹsil constellation? 32 "Can you lead out a constellation in its season, Or guide the Ash constellation along with its sons? 33 "Do you know the laws governing the heavens, Or can you impose their authority on the earth? 34 "Can you raise your voice to the clouds To cause a flood of water to cover you? 35 "Can you send out lightning bolts? Will they come and say to you, ‘Here we are!’ 36 "Who put wisdom within the clouds Or gave understanding to the sky phenomenon? 37 "Who is wise enough to count the clouds, Or who can tip over the water jars of heaven? 38 "When the dust pours into a mass And the clods of earth stick together? 39 "Can you hunt prey for a lion Or satisfy the appetites of young lions 40 "When they crouch in their lairs Or lie in ambush in their dens? 41 "Who prepares food for the raven When its young cry to God for help And wander about because there is nothing to eat?" 20. Do You Appreciate Jehovah’s Watchful Care? "When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.”"—Jas. 1:13. Do you appreciate Jehovah’s watchful care when you suffer trials, confident that he will provide a way out? “The eyes of Jehovah are everywhere, watching both the bad and the good.”—PROV. 15:3. What about us today? Jehovah’s eyes penetrate our heart; we cannot conceal our true inclinations and motivations from him. Our loving Father wants us to follow the pathways of righteousness; yet, he does not force us to change the course we are on. Through his Word, the Bible, he warns us when we are headed in the wrong direction. How? In our daily Bible reading, we often come across a passage that helps us to overcome bad tendencies and unwholesome inclinations. In addition, our Christian publications may shed light on a problem with which we may have been struggling and show us how we can overcome it. And at our congregation meetings, all of us receive counsel that comes at just the right time! All such warnings are really evidence of Jehovah’s loving, watchful care for us as individuals. True, the words of the Bible have been there for centuries, the publications prepared by God’s organization are written for millions, and the counsel at the meetings is intended for the whole congregation. Still, in all these cases, Jehovah directed your attention to his Word so that you could adjust your inclinations. Thus it can be said that this is evidence of Jehovah’s loving personal care for you. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2014287?q=james+1%3A13&p=par
  21. “You are the universe, expressing itself as a human for a little while” Our Creator a Grand Designer of Humans and the Universe! How wonderful are all your productions. “How many your works are, O Jehovah! All of them in wisdom you have made. The earth is full of your productions.” (Psalm 104:24
  22. Holy Spirit’s Role in the Future In the future, Jehovah will employ his holy spirit in remarkable ways to accomplish the fulfillment of his purpose. Consider first the matter of protection. As we have seen, Jehovah used his spirit in the past to protect individuals as well as the nation of Israel as a whole. Hence, we have every reason to believe that he will use that same powerful spirit to protect his people during the approaching great tribulation. We need not speculate about exactly how Jehovah will care for us then. Rather, we can look to the future with confidence, knowing that lovers of Jehovah will never be hidden from his view or beyond the reach of his holy spirit.—2 Chron. 16:9; Ps. 139:7-12. Let us never forget that Jehovah’s unfolding purpose is certain to succeed, for he uses his holy spirit—the most powerful force in the universe—to carry it out. That purpose involves you. Therefore, let it be your firm determination to supplicate Jehovah for his spirit and work in harmony with its leadings. (Luke 11:13) Thus you may have the prospect of living as Jehovahpurposed humans to live—forever in Paradise on earth.
  23. @bruceq Yes I have had the experience lately of informing my Bible Studies of the developments in Russia and two of them have come to the conclusion that Jehovah's Witnesses are the true religion. Both of them stated the fact that as such a small religion yet getting this kind of attention and the fact that the Witnesses being the first to be put under ban by decision of the Supreme Court in Russia.and then seeing the Bible prophecies [also had them watch the JW Broadcast video] and the fact that opposers and anti-cultist have been behind it all was enough to help them see that Jehovah's Witnesses must be the true religion. Praise Jehovah since he can turn even negative news into a Witness. "And you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a witness to them and the nations". MATT. 10:18 Truth is spoken! Let the picture prove true!! ????????? IMG_3280.mov @bruceq Can I quote you on a post? ?????????
