  3. No, having faith involves more, since even Satan and the demons believe God exists. "You believe that there is one God, do you? You are doing quite well. And yet the demons believe and shudder." ( James 2:19) jw.org
  4. WHY IS IT THAT GOD'S PERSONAL NAME "JEHOVAH" MEANS "HE CAUSES TO BECOME? Because this definition well fits his role as the Creator of the physical universe and intelligent beings and as the Fulfiller of his purpose. JEHOVAH (Je·hoʹvah) [the causative form, the imperfect state, of the Heb. verb ha·wahʹ (become); meaning “He Causes to Become”]. The personal name of God. (Isa 42:8; 54:5) Though Scripturally designated by such descriptive titles as “God,” “Sovereign Lord,” “Creator,” “Father,” “the Almighty,” and “the Most High,” his personality and attributes—who and what he is—are fully summed up and expressed only in this personal name.—Ps 83:18. Jesus’ own name means “Jehovah Is Salvation.” He stated: “I have come in the name of my Father” (Joh 5:43); he taught his followers to pray: “Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified” (Mt 6:9); his works, he said, were done “in the name of my Father” (Joh 10:25); and, in prayer on the night of his death, he said he had made his Father’s name manifest to his disciples and asked, “Holy Father, watch over them on account of your own name” (Joh 17:6, 11, 12, 26). jw.org
  5. WOULD WE BE ABLE TO PRAY TO GOD IF JESUS HAD NOT DIED FOR US? "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all—this is what is to be witnessed to in its own due time." (1 Peter 2:5,6) NWT jw.org
  6. “Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, . . . but he is patient.”—2 PETER 3:9. JEHOVAH has offered us something that no one else can offer. It is something immensely appealing and precious, yet it can be neither purchased nor earned. What he offers is the gift of everlasting life—for most of us, endless life on a paradise earth. (John 3:16) What a delight that will be! Gone will be the things that cause so much sorrow—strife, violence, poverty, crime, sickness, and even death. People will live in perfect peace and unity under the loving rule of God’s Kingdom. How we yearn for that Paradise!—Isaiah 9:6, 7; Revelation 21:4, 5. jw.org IMG_5240.MP4 IMG_5243.MOV
  7. Lesson for today. (3 John 4) Certainly, raising a child is one of the most taxing yet fulfilling, and frustrating yet rewarding, tasks any human can attempt. As one father said, “you only get one shot at raising your child.” Given the enormous influence parents have on the health and happiness of their children, you may feel a strong need for trustworthy advice on how to be a better parent. Seek the advice of the one Person who knows most about how to raise children—the Creator of human life, Jehovah God. His Word, the Bible, contains both direct advice and practical examples that can help you become a better parent. “I will give advice with my eye upon you,” he promises.—Psalm 32:8. http://m.wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/102004809?q=raising+children&p=par
  8. The Librarian: Sad faces all over the earth. People have never known peace or justice, just dictatorship. Praying that many more kind hearts are found there before the end. Only Jehovah God can read hearts. Many worthy of Jehovah are fighting for their lives. Perhaps we can have them in our prayers tonight? ?????? Thank you for sharing, Biible Speaks

  10. 7"And war broke out in heaven: Miʹcha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him." (Revelation 12:7-9) NWT jw.org
  11. SATAN IS DECEPTIVE! Let us not be fooled by Satan's deceptive propaganda. Jehovah appreciates our efforts to please Him and our service is not in vain. 58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always having plenty to do in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in connection with the Lord." (1 Cor.15:58) NWT jw.org
  12. 28 One of the scribes who had come up and heard them disputing, knowing that he had answered them in a fine way, asked him: “Which commandment is first of all?” 29 Jesus answered: “The first is, ‘Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God is one Jehovah, 30 and you must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind and with your whole strength.’ (Mark 12;29,30) NWT jw.org

  15. 9 Finally his wife said to him: “Are you still holding firmly to your integrity? Curse God and die!” 10 But he said to her: “You are talking like one of the senseless women. Should we accept only what is good from the true God and not accept also what is bad?” In all of this, Job did not sin with his lips." (Job 2:9,10) NWT jw.org IMG_5157.MOV
  16. 9 "The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate. Who can know it? 10 "I, Jehovah, am searching the heart, Examining the innermost thoughts, To give to each one according to his ways, According to the fruitage of his works." (Jeremiah 17:9,10) NWT jw.org IMG_5174.MP4
  17. 34 “And they will no longer teach each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know Jehovah!’ for they will all know me, from the least to the greatest of them,”declares Jehovah. “For I will forgive their error, and I will no longer remember their sin.” (Jeremiah 41:34) NWT jw.org
  18. 12 For the word of God is alive and exerts power+and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints from the marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12) With Jehovah and his Holy Spirit God's Word lives! Never under estimate what Jehovah's words can do. Even trash men have found the Truth from finding literature in the Rubbish. The angels and Jehovah with his Holy Spirit are searching the righteous and the wicked. May everything and everyone find God's word and find life! IMG_3024.MP4
