  1. Is God a Trinity?

    5 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus,"

     6 "who gave himself a corresponding ransom for all—this is what is to be witnessed to in its own due time."
    (1 Timothy 2:5,6) NWT jw.org

    Like a father who removes the cause of his children’s suffering and dries their eyes, Jehovah takes great joy in bringing Adamic death to nothing!

    In this he has a collaborator. First Corinthians 15:22 reads: “Just as in Adam all are dying, so also in  the Christ all will be made alive.” Similarly, after Paul asked “Who will rescue me?” he continued: “Thanks to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!” (Rom. 7:25)

    Plainly, the love that moved Jehovah to create mankind did not grow cold with the rebellion of Adam and Eve. And the one who shared with Jehovah in the work of bringing the first couple into existence did not lose his special fondness for their offspring. (Prov. 8:30, 31) But how would this rescue be accomplished?

    “When all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone.” (1 Cor. 15:28)

    The purpose of the Son’s rule will have been accomplished. He will then, with deep satisfaction, return his authority to Jehovah and present to him the perfected human family.

  2. Did You Know? Prayers done using religious objects or images never reach God?

    2  “I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery."

     3 "You must not have any other gods besides me."

    4 “You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or on the earth below or in the waters under the earth."

     5 "You must not bow down to them nor be enticed to serve them, for I, Jehovah your God, am a God who requires exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation of those who hate me."
    (Exodus 20:2-5) NWT jw.org

  3. Nothing Can Separate Us          From the Love of God

     37 "On the contrary, in all        these things we are coming         off completely victorious
    through the one who loved us."

    38 "For I am convinced that neither death nor life nor angels nor governments nor things now here nor things to come nor powers,

     39 .."nor height nor depth nor    any other creation will be able to separate us from God’s love that   is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

  4. “Do Not Let Your Heart               Turn Aside”

    Jehovah’s standards can protect us. To benefit from them, however, we must treasure them in our heart. (Pr 7:3)

    When a servant of Jehovah allows his heart to turn aside, he becomes vulnerable to Satan’s smooth and deceptive tactics. Proverbs chapter 7 describes a young man who allowed his heart to deceive him. What can we learn from his mistakes?

    • Satan tries to draw us away from Jehovah by using our five senses to induce us to get involved in wrongdoing

    * Sight
    * Touch
    * Taste
    * Smell
    * Hearing

    • Wisdom and understanding will help us to perceive the devastating effects of wrongdoing and to stay far away from spiritual danger

    5 "A wise person listens and takes in more instruction; A man of understanding acquires skillful direction."
     (Proverbs 1:5) NWT

    10 "The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom,
    And knowledge of the Most Holy One is understanding."
     (Proverbs 9:10) NWT

    My story is similar.  I trained with the best opera singers and had a world-class voice singing Rossini, Mozart, Donizetti, Verdi, Puccini  Could sing the highest opera arias with ease and elegance (bel canto).

    I left singing but  later had to work to support my children after the sudden death of my husband.  Worked as a reporter and then later became the head publicist for a national orchestra.  I saw the egotism and competition between artists and realized that I have the best future ever!   Nothing can compare with the promises of Jehovah!

    Sometimes I still feel the draw of the lights but pioneering keeps me humble and now I am working in the Muslim refugee field in Sweden - improving my Arabic language skills.   I sometimes think that singing would bring me much needed 'easy money' but I dare not get tempted into the entertainment world because it would only be downhill from there!   It is really immoral and egotistical out there and easy money is not worth the spiritual price!

    Jehovah always compensates spiritually for the worldly things we sacrifice - remember that!

    I sang at a family wedding in Sicily four years ago at age of 60. It was captured on mobile (not a good mobile recording but I attached it for you).   I sang much higher when I was younger and had more power but I am proof that old people can still do interesting things!  Put your sound on high

    Arauna: Thank you so much for your experience and recording. I'm sure you also sing ? the beautiful Kingdom songs. Jehovah blesses those that put him first. Music ? is truly enjoyable to all and can you imagine the joy in heaven when we sing? I pray that in the New World I have a beautiful voice too, I know Jehovah loves to hear all voices sing ? to him. May Jehovah continue to bless you and thank you for sharing.

  6. Jesus did not claim to be God,    but God's Son.

    36 "Do you say to me whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?"

    28 "You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I am."
    (John 14:28) NWT

  7. "Every man must be swift about hearing, slow about speaking, slow about wrath.”
    (James 1:19)

    Generally, children love their parents, and parents love their children. This is especially true among God’s people.

    Some families agree to spend less time watching television or using the computer.

    Others decide to eat at least one meal together each day.

    Family worship is a wonderful opportunity for parents and children to get to know one another better as they study the Bible together.

    The Bible says: “A person’s thoughts are like water in a deep well, but someone with insight can draw them out.” (Proverbs 20:5, Today’s English Version)

    When anyone is replying to a matter before he hears it, that is foolishness on his part and a humiliation.” (Proverbs 18:13)

    If you stay calm and listen, you may be able to understand the reason for your child’s “wild talk.” (Job 6:1-3)

    You can help your child only if you understand the whole situation. As loving parents, listen to your children and try to understand them so that you can say something that really helps them. 4 No greater joy do I have than this: that I should hear that my children go on walking in the truth." (3 John 4)

    We will make mistakes. So be quick to say “I’m sorry.” Forgive freely. “Be harmoniously joined together in love.” (Colossians 2:2)

    Love has power. It helps us to be patient and kind. Love helps us to stay calm and to forgive. “It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

    If you keep showing love, communication in your family will get better and better. This will make you happy and will honor Jehovah.

  8. The pope's previous comments provoked a furious reaction from Trump, who said in a statement on his website: "If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS's ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been president because this would not have happened."

    As heads of state of Vatican City and spiritual leaders to more than 1.2 billion Catholics, popes usually do not meddle directly with other countries' politics or politicians, but can and have offered their moral guidance, sometimes to dramatic effect.
