  1. What Is Behind the Mystery of Life? ~ ????? THE DNA molecule does amazing things. DNA fulfills both the roles that your cells require of genetic material. First, the DNA is accurately duplicated so that information can be passed on from cell to cell. Second, the DNA sequence tells the cell what proteins to make, thereby determining what the cell will become and what function it will serve. However, DNA does not carry out these processes on its own. Many specialized proteins are involved. DNA alone cannot create life. It contains all the instructions needed to make all the proteins a living cell needs, including the very ones that copy DNA for the next cell generation and the ones that help DNA to make new proteins. Still, the incredible amount of information stored in the DNA genes is useless without RNA and the specialized proteins, which include ribosomes, needed to “read” and use that information. Neither can proteins alone produce life. An isolated protein cannot generate the gene that has the code for making more of that same type of protein. So, what has unraveling the mystery of life shown? Modern genetics and molecular biology have provided ample evidence of the highly complex and interdependent relationships between DNA, RNA, and protein. These findings imply that life depends on having all these elements simultaneously. Thus, life could never have come about spontaneously by chance. The only reasonable explanation is that a supremely intelligent Creator coded the instructions in DNA and simultaneously made the fully formed proteins. The interaction between them was so well devised that once begun, this process would ensure that proteins would continue to copy DNA to make more genes, while other proteins would decode genes to make more proteins. Clearly, the marvelous cycle of life was set in motion by the Master Designer, Jehovah God. Wonderfully Made. Although it is not a scientific book, the Bible sheds some light on the role of the Creator, who designed the code of life. Some three thousand years ago, King David of Israel, who knew nothing of today’s advances in genetic research, said in poetic language to his Creator: “It was you who created my inmost self, and put me together in my mother’s womb; for all these mysteries I thank you: for the wonder of myself, for the wonder of your works. You know me through and through, from having watched my bones take shape when I was being formed in secret, knitted together in the limbo of the womb.”—Psalm 139:13-15, Jerusalem Bible. So take another good, long look at yourself in the mirror. Note the color of your eyes, the texture of your hair, the shade of your complexion, and the basic shape of your body. Think of how these characteristics were inherited from generations past and how they are transferred to your offspring. Now, give some thought to the One who put in order this marvelous mechanism. You may be moved to repeat the words written by the apostle John: “You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created.” (Revelation 4:11) Tap on Video Link mp4 _____We are all made from Love ?? of a Grand Creator. 6. Matthew 4 Good News Translation (GNT) The Temptation of Jesus 4 Then the Spirit led Jesus into the desert to be tempted by the Devil. 2 After spending forty days and nights without food, Jesus was hungry. 3 Then the Devil came to him and said, “If you are God's Son, order these stones to turn into bread.” 4 But Jesus answered, “The scripture says, ‘Human beings cannot live on bread alone, but need every word that God speaks.’” 5 Then the Devil took Jesus to Jerusalem, the Holy City, set him on the highest point of the Temple, 6 and said to him, “If you are God's Son, throw yourself down, for the scripture says, ‘God will give orders to his angels about you;     they will hold you up with their hands,     so that not even your feet will be hurt on the stones.’” 7 Jesus answered, “But the scripture also says, ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” 8 Then the Devil took Jesus to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in all their greatness. 9 “All this I will give you,” the Devil said, “if you kneel down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus answered, “Go away, Satan! The scripture says, ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve only him!’” 11 Then the Devil left Jesus; and angels came and helped him. Jesus Begins His Work in Galilee 12 When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he went away to Galilee. 13 He did not stay in Nazareth, but went to live in Capernaum, a town by Lake Galilee, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali. 14 This was done to make come true what the prophet Isaiah had said, 15 “Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali,     on the road to the sea, on the other side of the Jordan,     Galilee, land of the Gentiles! 16 The people who live in darkness     will see a great light. On those who live in the dark land of death     the light will shine.” 17 From that time Jesus began to preach his message: “Turn away from your sins, because the Kingdom of heaven is near!” Jesus Calls Four Fishermen 18 As Jesus walked along the shore of Lake Galilee, he saw two brothers who were fishermen, Simon (called Peter) and his brother Andrew, catching fish in the lake with a net. 19 Jesus said to them, “Come with me, and I will teach you to catch people.” 20 At once they left their nets and went with him. 21 He went on and saw two other brothers, James and John, the sons of Zebedee. They were in their boat with their father Zebedee, getting their nets ready. Jesus called them, 22 and at once they left the boat and their father, and went with him. Jesus Teaches, Preaches, and Heals 23 Jesus went all over Galilee, teaching in the synagogues, preaching the Good News about the Kingdom, and healing people who had all kinds of disease and sickness. 24 The news about him spread through the whole country of Syria, so that people brought to him all those who were sick, suffering from all kinds of diseases and disorders: people with demons, and epileptics, and paralytics—and Jesus healed them all. 25 Large crowds followed him from Galilee and the Ten Towns, from Jerusalem, Judea, and the land on the other side of the Jordan. Good News Translation (GNT) Copyright © 1992 by American Bible Society Matthew 5Good News Translation (GNT) The Sermon on the Mount 5 Jesus saw the crowds and went up a hill, where he sat down. His disciples gathered around him, 2 and he began to teach them: True Happiness 3 “Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor;     the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them! 4 “Happy are those who mourn;     God will comfort them! 5 “Happy are those who are humble;     they will receive what God has promised! 6 “Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires;     God will satisfy them fully! 7 “Happy are those who are merciful to others;     God will be merciful to them! 8 “Happy are the pure in heart;     they will see God! 9 “Happy are those who work for peace;     God will call them his children! 10 “Happy are those who are persecuted because they do what God requires;     the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them! 11 “Happy are you when people insult you and persecute you and tell all kinds of evil lies against you because you are my followers. 12 Be happy and glad, for a great reward is kept for you in heaven. This is how the prophets who lived before you were persecuted. Salt and Light 13 “You are like salt for the whole human race. But if salt loses its saltiness, there is no way to make it salty again. It has become worthless, so it is thrown out and people trample on it. 14 “You are like light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. 15 No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead it is put on the lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house. 16 In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven. Teaching about the Law 17 “Do not think that I have come to do away with the Law of Moses and the teachings of the prophets. I have not come to do away with them, but to make their teachings come true. 18 Remember that as long as heaven and earth last, not the least point nor the smallest detail of the Law will be done away with—not until the end of all things.[a] 19 So then, whoever disobeys even the least important of the commandments and teaches others to do the same, will be least in the Kingdom of heaven. On the other hand, whoever obeys the Law and teaches others to do the same, will be great in the Kingdom of heaven. 20 I tell you, then, that you will be able to enter the Kingdom of heaven only if you are more faithful than the teachers of the Law and the Pharisees in doing what God requires. Teaching about Anger 21 “You have heard that people were told in the past, ‘Do not commit murder; anyone who does will be brought to trial.Â’Â 22 But now I tell you: if you are angry[b] with your brother you will be brought to trial, if you call your brother ‘You good-for-nothing!Â’ you will be brought before the Council, and if you call your brother a worthless fool you will be in danger of going to the fire of hell. 23 So if you are about to offer your gift to God at the altar and there you remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar, go at once and make peace with your brother, and then come back and offer your gift to God. 25 “If someone brings a lawsuit against you and takes you to court, settle the dispute while there is time, before you get to court. Once you are there, you will be turned over to the judge, who will hand you over to the police, and you will be put in jail. 26 There you will stay, I tell you, until you pay the last penny of your fine. Teaching about Adultery 27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.Â’Â 28 But now I tell you: anyone who looks at a woman and wants to possess her is guilty of committing adultery with her in his heart. 29 So if your right eye causes you to sin, take it out and throw it away! It is much better for you to lose a part of your body than to have your whole body thrown into hell. 30 If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away! It is much better for you to lose one of your limbs than to have your whole body go off to hell. Teaching about Divorce 31 “It was also said, ‘Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a written notice of divorce.Â’Â 32 But now I tell you: if a man divorces his wife for any cause other than her unfaithfulness, then he is guilty of making her commit adultery if she marries again; and the man who marries her commits adultery also. Teaching about Vows 33 “You have also heard that people were told in the past, ‘Do not break your promise, but do what you have vowed to the Lord to do.Â’Â 34 But now I tell you: do not use any vow when you make a promise. Do not swear by heaven, for it is God's throne; 35 nor by earth, for it is the resting place for his feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Do not even swear by your head, because you cannot make a single hair white or black. 37 Just say ‘YesÂ’ or ‘No’—anything else you say comes from the Evil One. Teaching about Revenge 38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.Â’Â 39 But now I tell you: do not take revenge on someone who wrongs you. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, let him slap your left cheek too. 40 And if someone takes you to court to sue you for your shirt, let him have your coat as well. 41 And if one of the occupation troops forces you to carry his pack one mile, carry it two miles. 42 When someone asks you for something, give it to him; when someone wants to borrow something, lend it to him. Love for Enemies 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your friends, hate your enemies.Â’Â 44 But now I tell you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may become the children of your Father in heaven. For he makes his sun to shine on bad and good people alike, and gives rain to those who do good and to those who do evil. 46 Why should God reward you if you love only the people who love you? Even the tax collectors do that! 47 And if you speak only to your friends, have you done anything out of the ordinary? Even the pagans do that! 48 You must be perfect—just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Footnotes: Matthew 5:18 the end of all things; or all its teachings come true. 7. "Jehovah knows those who belong to him." (2 Tim. 2:19) ~ ?????? One day a Pharisee approached Jesus and asked: “Which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus responded: “You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.” (Matt. 22:35-37) Jesus had great love for his heavenly Father and truly lived by those words. Jesus was also concerned about his standing with Jehovah, demonstrating this by his faithful life course. Therefore, shortly before his death, he could state that God knew him as one who faithfully obeyed His commandments. Jesus thus remained in JehovahÂ’s love. (John 15:10) Many today claim to love God. We no doubt include ourselves in that number. However, serious aspects to consider are: ‘Am I known by God? How does Jehovah view me? Am I known as belonging to him?Â’ What a privilege it is to contemplate such a close relationship with the Sovereign of the universe! - Bible Speaks 2 Timothy 2:19Good News Translation (GNT) 19 But the solid foundation that God has laid cannot be shaken; and on it are written these words: “The Lord knows those who are his” and “Those who say that they belong to the Lord must turn away from wrongdoing.” Good News Translation (GNT)

  10. FUTURE BLESSINGS! ????? (Isaiah 35:1-10) 1 "The wilderness and the parched land will exult, and the desert plain will be joyful and blossom as the saffron. 2 Without fail it will blossom; It will rejoice and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, The splendor of Carmel and of Sharon. They will see the glory of Jehovah, the splendor of our God. 3 Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the knees that are shaking. 4 Say to those who are anxious at heart: “Be strong. Do not be afraid. Look! Your own God will come with vengeance, God will come with retribution. He will come and save you.” 5 At that time the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped. 6 At that time the lame will leap like the deer, and the tongue of the speechless will shout for joy. For waters will burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert plain. 7 The heat-parched ground will become a reedy pool, And the thirsty ground springs of water. In the lairs where jackals rested, there will be green grass and reeds and papyrus. 8 And a highway will be there, yes, a way called the Way of Holiness. The unclean one will not travel on it. It is reserved for the one walking on the way; No one foolish will stray onto it. 9 No lion will be there, and no vicious wild beasts will come on it. They will not be found there; Only the repurchased ones will walk there. 10 Those redeemed by Jehovah will return and come to Zion with a joyful cry. Unending joy will crown their heads. Exultation and rejoicing will be theirs, and grief and sighing will flee away."  Isaiah 35Good News Translation (GNT) The Road of Holiness 35 The desert will rejoice,     and flowers will bloom in the wastelands. 2 The desert will sing and shout for joy;     it will be as beautiful as the Lebanon Mountains     and as fertile as the fields of Carmel and Sharon. Everyone will see the Lord's splendor,     see his greatness and power. 3 Give strength to hands that are tired     and to knees that tremble with weakness. 4 Tell everyone who is discouraged,     “Be strong and don't be afraid!     God is coming to your rescue,     coming to punish your enemies.” 5 The blind will be able to see,     and the deaf will hear. 6 The lame will leap and dance,     and those who cannot speak will shout for joy. Streams of water will flow through the desert; 7     the burning sand will become a lake,     and dry land will be filled with springs. Where jackals used to live,     marsh grass and reeds will grow. 8 There will be a highway there,     called “The Road of Holiness.” No sinner will ever travel that road;     no fools will mislead those who follow it.[a] 9 No lions will be there;     no fierce animals will pass that way. Those whom the Lord has rescued     will travel home by that road. 10 They will reach Jerusalem with gladness,     singing and shouting for joy. They will be happy forever,     forever free from sorrow and grief. Footnotes: Isaiah 35:8 Probable text no fools … follow it; Hebrew unclear. Good News Translation (GNT)
  11. What Can We Learn from Children? - So Much! ~ ?????????? "Whoever will humble himself like this young child is the one that is the greatest in the kingdom of the heavens." (Matt 18:4) Jesus’ point is clear. All of us must cultivate childlike humility if we are to inherit GodÂ’s Kingdom. In JehovahÂ’s family arrangement, there is no place for competitive strife or pride. (Galatians 5:26) Let us not become egotistical, stirring up competition with one another, envying one another." In fact, these are the very traits that prompted Satan the Devil to rebel against God in the first place. No wonder Jehovah hates them! (Proverbs 8:13) The fear of Jehovah means the hating of bad. Self-exaltation and pride and the bad way and the perverse mouth I have hated." True Christians seek to serve, not to exercise power. No matter how unpleasant the task or how lowly the recipient, true humility moves us to minister to others. Such humble service brings rich rewards. Says Jesus: “Whoever receives one of such young children on the basis of my name, receives me; and whoever receives me, receives, not me only, but also him that sent me forth.” (Mark 9:37) Cultivating a generous, humble, childlike spirit unites us with the highest Personage in the universe and his Son. (John 17:20-21) “I make request, not concerning these only, but also concerning those putting faith in me through their word; 21 in order that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, in order that the world may believe that you sent me forth." (1 Peter 5:5) In like manner, YOU younger men, be in subjection to the older men. But all of YOU gird yourselves with lowliness of mind toward one another, because God opposes the haughty ones, but he gives undeserved kindness to the humble ones." We will reap the happiness that comes from giving. (Acts 20:35) And we have the satisfaction of contributing to the peace and unity evident among GodÂ’s people. - Bible Speaks
  12. Are You Kind Today? - ??? We must be Kind for Jehovah is Kind and Has Forgiven us, we Must Forgive others~~ See who You can Show some Kindness to today? ? (Colossians 3:12-13) . . .Accordingly, as God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, clothe yourselves with the tender affections of compassion, kindness, lowliness of mind, mildness, and long-suffering. 13 Continue putting up with one another and forgiving one another freely if anyone has a cause for complaint against another. Even as Jehovah freely forgave YOU, so do YOU also." (Galatians 5:22-23) 22 On the other hand, the fruitage of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 mildness, self-control. . ." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7) 4 Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up, 5 does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. 6 It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. 7 It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." - Bible Speaks
  13. ZAMBIA. Soldiers beat Jehovah's Witnesses for forbidden church services The members of the CHURCH and the leaders of a branch of the Jehovah's Witnesses in the Kamwala area of Lusaka were beaten this morning by a combined team of military personnel after they attempted to gather for a service in the church. Last week, the Health Ministry banned church meetings and other meetings in an attempt to contain the cholera situation in the country. While some churches have complied, some others have chosen to go ahead with their worship services. A branch of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Kamwala this morning decided to ignore the government directive. Within minutes of church service, a Land Cruiser full of military personnel and police landed on church premises and ordered church leaders to stop the service, eyewitnesses said. "When the leaders tried to resist the order, the soldiers simply started hitting the leaders, and when the members tried to protest, they were also slapped in. That's how they all ran in different directions," said an eyewitness. http://www.zambianobserver.com/soldiers-beat-up-jehovahs-witnesses-over-banned-church-services/

  15. The Rainbow Tree As the outer layer of the rainbow eucalyptus tree’s bark peels away, the bright green layer underneath begins to show. ~ ????? Over time, it fades to a darker green, and then to blue, purple, pink, orange, red, maroon, and back to brown. When it reaches that point, it will peel again and start the process anew. Since different layers peel at different times on different parts of the tree, the result is a tree trunk and branches that look like theyÂ’ve been painted with hundreds of brushstrokes. The rainbow eucalyptus is native to the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia, and is grown in other tropical environments that are similarly mild and humid. Unfortunately, it cannot survive hot and dry weather or frosty conditions, and can only be grown in specific regions near the equator that will sustain this type of tree. It is commonly planted in parks and gardens in countries that can grow it. This natural beauty can also be found lining the Hana highway in Maui, Hawaii, and in swampy areas of Africa, Thank you Jehovah God for your creation and the beauty we can behold! ~ ???

Besides the primary species, there are thousands of man-made hybrids. Since flavor is affected by such factors as soil and temperature, it is advisable to taste a petal of the rose or any other flower before you decide to use the flower as food. You will probably notice that the base of the petal is somewhat bitter. If it is, cut out that part, or if you are serving the complete flower, eat only the outer part. The list of dishes that can be enriched by roses is practically endless. Try them in salads, maybe with some mild cheese and chopped nuts. Use smashed petals of red roses as an extra ingredient in your favorite sauce to add flavor and color. And what about giving your spaghetti the final touch of rose petals cut into strips? Roses will also enhance the flavor of ice cream and your favorite beverage. BE A ROSE ? NOT A THORN ? Â

  20. Are You Modest or Proud? - Think Before You Act and React! ~ ? ? ? ? MODESTY is a virtue that once was appreciated by the wise men of this world. Thus we are told: “A modest person seldom fails to gain the good will of those he converses with, because nobody envies a man who does not appear to be pleased with himself.” And it has been said: “Modesty is a shining light; it prepares the mind to receive knowledge, and the heart for truth.” A person lacking modesty is not likely to have an open mind. (Romans 12:3) . . .For through the undeserved kindness given to me I tell everyone there among YOU not to think more of himself than it is necessary to think; but to think so as to have a sound mind, each one as God has distributed to him a measure of faith." Christian Modesty—Truly Wise! The displaying of Christian modesty truly is the course of wisdom. First of all, it results in good relations with Jehovah. In fact, God requires that we be modest in walking with him. (Micah 6:8) . . .He has told you, O earthling man, what is good. And what is Jehovah asking back from you but to exercise justice and to love kindness and to be modest in walking with your God?" Moreover, modesty is most becoming on our part when we think of the great gap between us and our all-powerful and eternal Maker. Why, to him the nations are like the film of dust on the scales and like a mere drop falling from a bucket! (Isaiah 40:15) . . .Look! The nations are as a drop from a bucket; and as the film of dust on the scales they have been accounted. Look! He lifts the islands themselves as mere fine [dust]. . ." Modesty will cause us to fear to displease Jehovah God, and that surely is “the beginning of wisdom.” (Psalm 111:10) . . .The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom. ? [Sin] All those doing them have a good insight. ? [Taw] His praise is standing forever. 112 Praise Jah, YOU people! ? [?A?leph] Happy is the man in fear of Jehovah, ? [Behth] In whose commandments he has taken very much delight. ? [Gi?mel] 2 Mighty in the earth his offspring will become. ? [Da?leth] As for the generation of the upright ones, it will be blessed. ? 21. @James Thomas Rook Jr. “Forgets Wisdom.’ The ostrich is said to “forget wisdom” and ‘not share in understanding.’ (Job 39:17) Modern observers have acknowledged this. The Arabs have a saying “more foolish than an ostrich.” (Soncino Books of the Bible, edited by A. Cohen, London, 1946, Job, p. 205) The ostrich tends to run in a large curve, which permits its pursuers, if sufficient in number, to surround it. But on a straight course the ostrich’s powerful legs enable it to ‘laugh at the horse and at its rider.’ (Job 39:18) When running, its strides lengthen out to cover as much as 3.5 m (11 ft) at a time, and its pace may reach as high as 70 km/hr (44 mph). The wings, useless for flight, nevertheless help to give balance to the bird’s heavy body as it runs.” HAHA! Crazy Ostrich perhaps this time she won? 23. SOON GOD'S JUDGEMENTS WILL BE DONE! ~ ???????? Revelation chapter 14 goes on to describe further events that are to take place in the hour of judgment. Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion, is mentioned first: “Another, a second angel, followed, saying: ‘She has fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen!’” (Revelation 14:8) Yes, from GodÂ’s viewpoint, Babylon the Great has already fallen. In 1919, JehovahÂ’s anointed servants were set free from the bondage of Babylonish doctrines and practices, which have dominated peoples and nations for millenniums. That is not all there is to GodÂ’s judgment against Babylon the Great. Her final destruction is soon to come. (Revelation 18:21) With good reason, the Bible urges people everywhere: “Get out of her [Babylon the Great] . . . if you do not want to share with her in her sins.” (Revelation 18:4, 5) How do we get out of Babylon the Great? This involves more than just severing any ties with false religion. Babylonish influence is present in many popular celebrations and customs, in the worldÂ’s permissive attitude toward sex, in the promoting of entertainment involving spiritism, and much more. To keep on the watch, it is vital that both in our actions and in the desires of our heart, we give evidence that we are truly separate from Babylon the Great in every way.
