  1. DO YOU APPRECIATE THE BEAUTIFUL SNOW? ~ ???????? Jehovah, is the Producer of snow, and He can also control it. (Job 37:6; Ps 147:16) To serve His purpose, God has stored snow and hail “for the day of fight and war.”—Job 38:22, 23. 6 For he says to the snow, ‘Fall to the earth,Â’ And to the downpour of rain, ‘Pour down mightily.’”— (Job 38:6). 16 He sends the snow like wool; He scatters the frost just like ashes.” —(Ps. 147:16). 5. “Food at the Proper Time” ~ ???? "We have reason to “cry out joyfully because of the good condition of the heart.” (Isa. 65:13, 14) Another blessing that Jehovah has bestowed upon us is the great body of Scriptural truth, as we feast on an abundance of rich spiritual food. However, we must be on guard against allowing unwholesome influences to cause us to lose our enthusiasm for the truth. For example, paying attention to apostate propaganda can becloud our thinking and blind us to the value of the spiritual “food at the proper time” made available by Jehovah through “the faithful and discreet slave.” (Matt. 24:45-47) Let us count our spiritual blessings and display appreciation like that of the psalmist who sang: “Many things you yourself have done, O Jehovah my God, even your wonderful works and your thoughts toward us; there is none to be compared to you. Were I inclined to tell and speak of them, they have become more numerous than I can recount.”—(Ps. 40:5) - Bible Speaks
  6. DRINK “ONLY” FROM LIVING WATER! ? “A woman of Sa·mar?i·a came to draw water. Jesus said to her: “Give me a drink.” 8 (For his disciples had gone off into the city to buy food.) 9 So the Sa·mar?i·tan woman said to him: “How is it that you, despite being a Jew, ask me for a drink even though I am a Sa·mar?i·tan woman?” (For Jews have no dealings with Sa·mar?i·tans.) 10 In answer Jesus said to her: “If you had known of the free gift of God and who it is who says to you, ‘Give me a drink,Â’ you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.” 11 She said to him: “Sir, you do not even have a bucket for drawing water, and the well is deep. From what source, then, do you have this living water? 12 You are not greater than our forefather Jacob, who gave us the well and who together with his sons and his cattle drank out of it, are you?” 13 In answer Jesus said to her: “Everyone drinking from this water will get thirsty again. 14 Whoever drinks from the water that I will give him will never get thirsty at all, but the water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water bubbling up to impart everlasting life.” 15 The woman said to him: “Sir, give me this water, so that I may neither thirst nor keep coming over to this place to draw water.”– (John 4:7-15). Do you clothe its neck with a rustling mane? 20 Can you cause it to leap like a locust? Its majestic snorting is terrifying. 21 It paws the ground in the valley and exults mightily; It charges into the battle. 22 It laughs at fear and is afraid of nothing. It does not turn back because of the sword. 23 The quiver rattles against it, The spear and the javelin flash. 24 Trembling with excitement, it surges forward, It cannot stand still at the sound of the horn. 25 When the horn blows, it says, ‘Aha!’ It smells the battle from afar And hears the shouting of commanders and the battle cry.” (Job: 39:19-25) Tap on Video Link mp4 ______Enjoy! ? Video @ladzinski / ??? Colombia’s #SantaMarta mountains is a steep and rugged jungle environment, home to an extraordinary range of diverse endemic and migratory birds. I was lucky to spend 3 days cozily nestled on the side of the mountain at an old farm house. This white horse here was one of the residents, a borderline feral animal living a good life with plenty of grazing territory. He primarily lived alone, away from the other horses on a nearby pasture, but on our last morning he had a visitor. As soon as the 2 were put together they warily checked each other out and then burst into highly energetic playing. I was fortunate enough to roll on some of the interaction. 14. What are you Complaining about Now? - A Complaining Spirit is Condemned in the Bible see why? ~ ?? ? Bad Effects on Oneself and Others There is no doubt that a chronic complaining spirit is damaging, and it is condemned in the Bible. A complainer will bring physical and spiritual damage to himself and vexation to those who are the subject of his complaints. Referring to a complaining wife, the Bible proverb says: “A leaking roof that drives one away in the day of a steady rain and a contentious wife are comparable.” (Proverbs 27:15) Complaining directed against Jehovah or one of his provisions is particularly culpable. When the nation of Israel complained about the miraculous manna provided during their 40-year wilderness trek, calling it “contemptible bread,” Jehovah sent poisonous serpents to punish the disrespectful complainers, and many died.— (Numbers 21:5, 6) "And the people kept speaking against God and Moses: “Why have YOU brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread and no water, and our soul has come to abhor the contemptible bread.” 6 So Jehovah sent poisonous serpents among the people, and they kept biting the people, so that many people of Israel died." Further, Jesus counseled his followers, not to complain about “the straw” of faults observed in our fellow humans, but to be well aware of the larger “rafter” of shortcomings that we ourselves have. (Matthew 7:1-5) “Stop judging that YOU may not be judged; 2 for with what judgment YOU are judging, YOU will be judged; and with the measure that YOU are measuring out, they will measure out to YOU. 3 Why, then, do you look at the straw in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the rafter in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Allow me to extract the straw from your eye’; when, look! a rafter is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First extract the rafter from your own eye, and then you will see clearly how to extract the straw from your brother’s eye." (Ecclesiastes 1:15) 15 That which is made crooked cannot be made straight, . . ." We do well to recognize that some matters will simply have to wait for God to rectify in his own due time. ?? ? 15. Draw Close to God You Can Find “the Very Knowledge of God” ??? JEHOVAH GOD has put within our reach a priceless treasure, and it is his heartÂ’s desire that we find it. This treasure does not bring material wealth, but it will result in something that all the money in the world cannot buy—inner peace, contentment, and a satisfying life. What is this treasure? The words of wise King Solomon recorded at Proverbs 2:1-6 explain. Solomon identifies this treasure as “the very knowledge of God”—that is, the truth about God and his purposes as revealed in the Bible. (Verse 5) There are several aspects to this treasure. True teachings. The Bible answers such questions as these: What is GodÂ’s name? (Psalm 83:18) What happens at death? (Psalm 146:3, 4) Why are we here? (Genesis 1:26-28; Psalm 115:16) Really, what price would you put on the answers to such important questions? Wise counsel. The Bible tells us the best way to live. How can you make a marriage last? (Ephesians 5:28, 29, 33) How can you raise responsible children? (Deuteronomy 6:5-7; Ephesians 6:4) How can you find happiness in life? (Matthew 5:3; Luke 11:28) Again, what do you think—how valuable is reliable advice on such matters? Insight into GodÂ’s nature and personality. The Bible is the main source of accurate information about God. What is he like? (John 1:18; 4:24) Does he care about us? (1 Peter 5:6, 7) What are some of his outstanding qualities? (Exodus 34:6, 7; 1 John 4:8) How much, would you say, is truthful information about our Creator worth? “The very knowledge of God” is indeed a spiritual treasure. How can you find it? A clue lies in verse 4 of Proverbs chapter 2, where Solomon compares this knowledge to “hid treasures.” Think about this: A hidden treasure will not jump out of its hiding place and deposit itself into idle hands. We have to put forth effort to find it. So it is with the knowledge of God. This treasure is, in effect, buried in the Bible. To find it, we need to put forth effort. Solomon explains what we need to do in order to find “the very knowledge of God.” The words “receive my sayings” and “incline your heart” show that we need a receptive heart. (Verses 1, 2) The words “call out,” “keep seeking,” and “keep searching” indicate that we need to expend ourselves, earnestly showing our initiative. (Verses 3, 4) To find the treasure, then, we need to make a diligent study of the Bible, doing so with a sincere heart.—Luke 8:15. If we show such initiative, Jehovah will do the rest. “Jehovah himself gives wisdom,” says verse 6. Only with GodÂ’s help can we fully grasp the truths found in the Bible. (John 6:44; Acts 16:14) Of this you can be sure: If you sincerely search into GodÂ’s Word, you will find “the very knowledge of God”—a treasure that will enrich your life beyond measure.—Proverbs 2:10-21.* - ??? https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2011732?q=prov+2%3A1-6&p=par
  16. Beware of the Devil’s Snares! ~ ? ? ? “Come . . . out from the snare of the Devil.”—2 TIM. 2:26. THE Devil stalks JehovahÂ’s servants. His goal is not necessarily to destroy them, as a big-game hunter kills prey. Rather, the DevilÂ’s main goal is to capture his quarry alive and use the person as he sees fit.—Read 2 Timothy 2:24-26. To catch prey alive, a trapper may use a snare of some sort. He may try to get the animal to come out into the open where he can capture it with a noose. Or he may use a hidden trap that has a trigger and takes the animal by surprise. The Devil uses similar snares to catch GodÂ’s servants alive. If we want to avoid being caught, we must be alert and heed warning signs indicating that one of SatanÂ’s snares, or traps, is nearby. This article will consider how we can guard against three of the traps that the Devil has used with a measure of success. These are (1) uncontrolled speech, (2) fear and pressure, and (3) excessive guilt. An animal caught in a snare loses control over its freedom of movement. Similarly, a person who succumbs to fear and related pressure has given up at least some control of his life. (Read Proverbs 29:25.) Jehovah will forgive and forget your past errors if you are truly repentant and accept his mercy. Never feel that JesusÂ’ ransom sacrifice cannot cover your sins. To do so would be to fall victim to one of SatanÂ’s snares. Despite what the Devil wants you to believe, the ransom can cover the sins of all who have fallen into sin and have repented. (Prov. 24:16) Faith in the ransom can lift the burden of excessive guilt from your shoulders and can give you strength to serve God with your whole heart, mind, and soul.—Matt. 22:37. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2012603?q=devil+snares&p=par

  18. A Prayer of the Lowly One (Psalm 4:1) ~ ?????????? Song 68 1. Jehovah God, I call to you and ask you: “Hear my prayer.” My wounds are deep and slow to heal; my load is hard to bear. Despondent thoughts and disappointed hopes have left me weak. O God of comfort, care for me; your favor I do seek. (CHORUS) Do raise me up; help me endure. When IÂ’m in doubt, make my hope sure. From deep despair, I turn to you. Jehovah God, my strength renew. 2. Your Word has been my comfort and a refuge when IÂ’m weak, Expressing feelings dear to me in words I cannot speak. Please build in me the faith and trust that your Word does impart. And help me always know your love is greater than my heart. (CHORUS) Do raise me up; help me endure. When IÂ’m in doubt, make my hope sure. From deep despair, I turn to you. Jehovah God, my strength renew. ?????????? (See also Ps. 42:6; 119:28; 2 Cor. 4:16; 1 John 3:20.) - Bible Speaks
