  1. “Everything He Has Made Pretty” ???? Artists have long recognized the golden proportion as the most pleasing to our eyes. What makes plantsform new growths precisely at this intriguing angle? Many people conclude that this is but another example of intelligent design in living things. In contemplating the design of living things and our capacity to find pleasure in them, many discern the hand of a Creator who wants us to enjoy life. Of our Creator the Bible says: “Everything he has made pretty in its time.”—Ecclesiastes 3:11. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/102006328?q=plants&p=par
  2. "In Jehovah the God of Israel he trusted."—2 Ki. 18:5. – ??????? King Sennacherib of Assyria sent his representatives—including Rabshakeh—to Jerusalem along with a heavy military force. King Hezekiah of Judah went to the house of Jehovah and began praying: “O Jehovah our God, save us, please, out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you, O Jehovah, are God alone.” (2 Ki. 19:14-19) Hezekiah acted in harmony with his prayer. Even before going up to the temple to pray, he instructed the people not to respond to RabshakehÂ’s taunts. Hezekiah also sent a delegation to Isaiah the prophet, seeking his advice. (2 Ki. 18:36; 19:1, 2) Hezekiah took steps that he could rightly take. He did not try to seek support from Egypt or from neighboring nations. Rather than lean upon his own understanding, Hezekiah trusted in Jehovah. After JehovahÂ’s angel struck down 185,000 of SennacheribÂ’s men, Sennacherib “pulled away” and returned to Nineveh.—2 Ki. 19:35,36. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2005283?q=2+kings+18%3A5&p=par

  4. Safeguard Your Inheritance by Making Wise Choices ????????? “Abhor what is wicked, cling to what is good.”—ROMANS 12:9. ????????? The first step is to think about the consequences of sin. The more we love Jehovah, the more we will appreciate our inheritance. When we love someone, we do not want to hurt that person. Instead, we try our best to make him happy. So we should take time to think about the consequences of sin, that is, how we would hurt ourselves and others if we gave in to temptation. ????????? We should ask ourselves: ‘How would my selfish conduct affect my relationship with Jehovah? How would the sin affect my family? How would it affect my brothers and sisters in the congregation? Would my conduct offend others?Â’ (Philippians 1:10) ????????? We could also ask ourselves: ‘Are a few moments of immoral pleasure worth the price I will pay afterward? Do I really want to be like Esau, who cried bitterly when he realized the consequences of his sin?Â’ (Hebrews 12:17) ????????? If we think carefully about these questions, we will hate what is bad and love what is good. (Romans 12:9) When we truly love Jehovah, we will work hard to protect our inheritance.—Psalm 73:28. ????????? If we want to be prepared to resist temptation, we have to make an effort to keep ourselves strong ????????? The second step is to prepare ourselves to resist temptation. Jehovah has given us many ways to prepare ourselves to resist temptation from the world and protect our relationship with him. For example, he has shown us how to benefit from Bible study, meetings, the field ministry, and prayer. (1 Corinthians 15:58) ????????? Each time we tell Jehovah our true feelings in prayer and every time we work hard in the ministry, we are preparing ourselves to resist temptation. (Read 1 Timothy 6:12, 19.) ????????? If we want to succeed, we have to keep making the effort to do these things. (Galatians 6:7)  - Bible Speaks - https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/402013366?q=prov+2%3A2&p=par
  5. "Pay attention to wisdom with your ear, that you may incline your heart to discernment."—Prov. 2:2. ??????? "By making your ear attentive to wisdom, And inclining your heart to discernment." Prov. 2:2 At the start of SolomonÂ’s kingship, God appeared to him in a dream and invited him to make a request. Aware of his limited experience, Solomon requested wisdom. (1 Ki. 3:5-9) Pleased that the king asked for wisdom rather than for riches and glory, God gave Solomon “a wise and understanding heart”—as well as prosperity. (1 Ki. 3:10-14) We personally do not expect to receive wisdom miraculously. Solomon said that “Jehovah himself gives wisdom,” but he wrote that we should strive to gain that godly quality. He used expressions such as “call out for,” “keep seeking for,” and “keep searching for” wisdom. (Prov. 2:1-6) Clearly, we can gain wisdom. It would be good to ask: ‘Am I taking to heart SolomonÂ’s example of treasuring divine wisdom? Do the choices I make indicate that I am treasuring and seeking divine wisdom?Â’Â ??????? https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/402013366?q=prov+2%3A2&p=par
  6. King Solomon and the Queen of Sheba - Amazed at His Wisdom. Knowledge! - A Gift from Jehovah! ~ ?????????? (Sol?o·mon) [from a root meaning “peace”] (1 Kings 10:1-25) . . .Now the queen of She?ba was hearing the report about Sol?o·mon in connection with the name of Jehovah. So she came to test him with perplexing questions. 2 Finally she arrived at Jerusalem with a very impressive train, camels carrying balsam oil and very much gold and precious stones; and she came on in to Sol?o·mon and began to speak to him all that happened to be close to her heart. 3 Sol?o·mon, in turn, went on to tell her all her matters. There proved to be no matter hidden from the king that he did not tell her. 4 When the queen of She?ba got to see all the wisdom of Sol?o·mon and the house that he had built, 5 and the food of his table and the sitting of his servants and the table service of his waiters and their attire and his drinks and his burnt sacrifices that he regularly offered up at the house of Jehovah, then there proved to be no more spirit in her. 6 So she said to the king: “True has the word proved to be that I heard in my own land about your matters and about your wisdom. 7 And I did not put faith in the words until I had come that my own eyes might see; and, look! I had not been told the half. You have surpassed in wisdom and prosperity the things heard to which I listened. 8 Happy are your men; happy are these servants of yours who are standing before you constantly, listening to your wisdom! 9 May Jehovah your God come to be blessed, who has taken delight in you by putting you upon the throne of Israel; because Jehovah loves Israel to time indefinite, so that he appointed you as king to render judicial decision and righteousness.” 10 Then she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold and a very great deal of balsam oil and precious stones. There never came anymore the like of that balsam oil for quantity such as the queen of She?ba gave to King Sol?o·mon. 11 And Hi?ram’s fleet of ships that carried gold from O?phir also brought from O?phir timbers of algum trees in very great amount and precious stones. 12 And the king proceeded to make out of the timbers of the algum trees supports for the house of Jehovah and for the house of the king, and also harps and stringed instruments for the singers. Timbers of algum trees like this have not come in nor have they been seen down to this day. 13 And King Sol?o·mon himself gave the queen of She?ba all her delight for which she asked, apart from what he gave her according to the openhandedness of King Sol?o·mon. After that she turned about and went to her own land, she together with her servants. 14 And the weight of the gold that came to Sol?o·mon in one year amounted up to six hundred and sixty-six talents of gold, 15 apart from the men of travel and the profit from the traders and all the kings of the Arabs and the governors of the land. 16 And King Sol?o·mon went on to make two hundred large shields of alloyed gold (six hundred [shekels] of gold he proceeded to lay upon each large shield), 17 and three hundred bucklers of alloyed gold (three mi?nas of gold he proceeded to lay upon each buckler). Then the king put them in the House of the Forest of Leb?a·non. 18 Further, the king made a great ivory throne and overlaid it with refined gold. 19 There were six steps to the throne, and the throne had a round canopy behind it, and there were armrests on this side and on that side by the place of sitting, and two lions were standing beside the armrests. 20 And there were twelve lions standing there upon the six steps, on this side and on that side. No other kingdom had any made just like it. 21 And all the drinking vessels of King Sol?o·mon were of gold, and all the vessels of the House of the Forest of Leb?a·non were of pure gold. There was nothing of silver; it was considered in the days of Sol?o·mon as nothing at all. 22 For the king had a fleet of ships of Tar?shish on the sea along with Hi?ram’s fleet of ships. Once every three years the fleet of ships of Tar?shish would come carrying gold and silver, ivory, and apes and peacocks. 23 So King Sol?o·mon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth. 24 And all the people of the earth were seeking the face of Sol?o·mon to hear his wisdom that God had put in his heart. 25 And they were bringing each his gift, articles of silver and articles of gold and garments and armor and balsam oil, horses and mules, as a yearly matter of course." ?????????? https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200004178

Gather all the relevant facts, seek the counsel of those familiar with such things, and determine what Bible principles have a bearing on the matter. (Prov. 20:18) ??????? To organize your research, prepare two lists—one detailing the benefits, the other the liabilities. Before you make a decision, “calculate the expense.” Consider the potential impact that your decision will have not only on your financial health but also on your spiritual well-being. It takes time and effort to do research. But by doing so, you may avoid making hasty decisions that lead to unnecessary anxiety. ??????? https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/lv/r1/lp-e/0/12760
  8. Our Creator Jehovah God made all creatures great and small. Genesis 1:20-22. - 20 Then God said: “Let the waters swarm with living creatures, and let flying creatures fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” 21 And God created the great sea creatures* and all living creatures that move and swarm in the waters according to their kinds and every winged flying creature according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 With that God blessed them, saying: “Be fruitful and become many and fill the waters of the sea, and let the flying creatures become many in the earth.” Blessings Continue! ????? This is a Saiga antelope (Saiga tatarica), a critically endangered. These excellent swimmers can hold their breath for up to 12 minutes and dive to depths of 300 feet. Today, the walrus is primarily threatened by climate change. Shrinking sea ice means that walrus will need to spend longer periods in unfavorable conditions on land instead of resting on floating sea ice. 9. Give Comfort to Those Who Grieve - Their Cry He Will Hear! ~ ???????? (Psalm 145:19) "The desire of those fearing him he will perform, And their cry for help he will hear, and he will save them." (Psalm) 145:19) "He satisfies the desire of those who fear him; He hears their cry for help, and he rescues them." With the Comfort God Gives When we seek to comfort others, words of sympathy are certainly in order. We endeavor to convey to the grieving person by word and tone of voice that we deeply care about his situation. This is not accomplished by the use of hollow platitudes. The Bible tells us that “through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope.” (Romans 15:4) In view of this, we can explain at a suitable time what God’s Kingdom is, and we can show from the Bible how it will solve present problems. Then we can reason on why it is a dependable hope. In this way, we will impart comfort. To get the full benefit from the comfort offered, a person needs to know the true God, the kind of Person he is, and the dependability of his promises. When we seek to help a person who is not already a worshiper of Jehovah, it is good to explain the following points. (1) The comfort found in the Bible is from Jehovah, the true God. (2) Jehovah is the Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth. He is a God of love and is abundant in loving-kindness and truth. (3) We can be strengthened to deal with situations if we draw close to God by gaining accurate knowledge from his Word. (4) The Bible contains scriptures that relate to specific trials faced by different individuals. Some have conveyed a spiritual blessing to grieving ones who are acquainted with the Bible by reading 2 Corinthians 1:3-7. When doing so, they have emphasized the expression “the comfort we get also abounds through the Christ.” This scripture may help a person to realize that the Bible is a source of comfort to which he ought to give more consideration. It can also provide the basis for further discussion, perhaps on other occasions. If a person feels that his troubles are the result of bad things he has done, then we might tell him, without being judgmental, that it is a comfort to know what is recorded at 1 John 2:1, 2 and Psalm 103:11-14. In these ways we truly comfort others with the comfort that God gives. ???????? https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200271306

  11. Our Creator will Save Us! – ???????? "Every breathing thing—let it praise Jah. Praise Jah!" (Psalms 150:6) What Some Predict Many believe that human activities are a major cause of global warming, which may have catastrophic consequences for the climate and the environment. For example, large-scale melting of land-based ice and the expansion of the oceans as water warms could cause sea levels to rise drastically. At the same time, rising temperatures could intensify storms, floods, and droughts. In the Himalayas, disappearing glaciers—from areas that feed seven river systems—could cause shortages of freshwater for 40 percent of the worldÂ’s population. Also at risk are thousands of species of animals, including polar bears, whose hunting grounds are largely on the ice. Indeed, reports already indicate that many bears are losing weight and some are even starving. Rising temperatures may also foster the spread of disease by enabling mosquitoes, ticks, and other disease-carrying organisms, including fungi, to spread farther afield. “The dangers posed by climate change are nearly as dire as those posed by nuclear weapons,” says the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists. “The effects may be less dramatic in the short term . . . , but over the next three to four decades climate change could cause irremediable harm to the habitats upon which human societies depend for survival.” Adding an even more ominous note, some scientists believe that changes attributed to global warming are occurring faster than they had expected. What are we to make of these predictions? Is life on earth really at a crossroads? Skeptics of global warming say that such dire predictions are groundless. Others are not sure. So, what is the truth? Is earthÂ’s future—and ours—in peril? Polar Bears on ‘Thin IceÂ’ “The polar bearÂ’s existence is seriously endangered by climatic warming,” says GermanyÂ’s Nassauische Neue Presse, reporting on a World Wildlife Fund (WWF) study. According to the WWF, the amount of Arctic sea ice, or pack ice—the main habitat and hunting ground of polar bears—is shrinking as a result of warmer weather. Experts say that the average air temperature over the Arctic has “increased by 5 degrees [Celsius] [9 degrees Fahrenheit] over the past 100 years.” What is more, “pack ice has decreased by 6 percent over the past 20 years,” and “a 60-percent reduction in summer sea ice could be expected by the year 2050.” Less sea ice and longer ice-free periods restrict the polar bearÂ’s opportunities to hunt and thus accumulate needed fat reserves. Hardest hit are pregnant females and cubs. In some areas “not even half of the cubs survive the ever-extending ice-free period,” reports the newspaper. Other problems the bears face are “hunting, toxic chemicals, and oil pollution.” EarthÂ’s Future—In Good Hands! There is only one Leader who can successfully address the problems confronting the world. Concerning him, the Bible foretold: “Upon him the spirit of Jehovah [God] must settle down, the spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the spirit of counsel and of mightiness, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah . . . With righteousness he must judge the lowly ones, . . . and with the spirit of his lips he will put the wicked one to death.”—Isaiah 11:2-5 Contributing to JesusÂ’ qualifications is his vast knowledge of GodÂ’s creation, which he acquired before coming to earth. In fact, untold aeons ago when God formed the physical universe, Jesus was his “master worker.” (Proverbs 8:22-31) Think about that: Jesus, the very one who helped make the earth and all living things, will take the lead in undoing the damage caused by human folly. Who will ChristÂ’s subjects be? They will be truly meek and righteous people, ones who know the true God, Jehovah, and obey Jesus Christ as Ruler. (Psalm 37:11, 29; 2 Thessalonians 1:7, 8) Jesus said that they “will inherit the earth,” which will be transformed into a paradise.—Matthew 5:5; Isaiah 11:6-9; Luke 23:43 Yes, our planet may appear to be in peril, but its continued existence as a home for mankind is not in doubt. Rather, peril awaits those who continue to show disrespect for GodÂ’s creation and who refuse to obey Jesus Christ. Hence, JehovahÂ’s Witnesses encourage you to take in the knowledge that leads to everlasting life. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/102010366?q=polar-bear&p=par

  15. Looking Forward To Paradise - ????? - An Earth-Wide Paradise Ahead! - Try to imagine what life will be like in Paradise on earth. (Read Psalm 72:5-9.) Worshippers of the only true God will be able to enjoy life in Paradise for as long as the sun and the moon exist—yes, forever! The King Jesus Christ will prove to be refreshing, ‘like rain upon mown grass and copious showers that wet the earth.Â’ As you envision the fulfillment of this psalm, is not your heart stirred by the hope of living forever in an earthly paradise? Surely the impaled evildoer was thrilled when Jesus told him: “You will be with me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43) During JesusÂ’ Thousand Year Reign, that man will be restored to life. If he submits to ChristÂ’s rulership, he will be able to live on earth forever in perfect health and happiness. Under the rule of the Greater Solomon, Jesus Christ, “the righteous one will sprout,” that is, flourish or prosper. (Ps. 72:7) ChristÂ’s love and tender care will then be abundant, just as they were when he was on the earth. In GodÂ’s promised new world, even “the unrighteous” who are resurrected will be given a loving opportunity to conform to JehovahÂ’s standards and live. (Acts 24:15) Of course, those who refuse to act in harmony with divine requirements will not be allowed to continue living and mar the peace and tranquillity of the new world. 1 GIF PICTURE 1 MOVING PICTURE TAP ON VIDEO LINK MP4 ______Enjoy! ?????  https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2010608 1BDCDADC-4E41-4A41-970E-FD86416D49CD.MP4

  17. Supply to Your Knowledge Self-Control ???????? “Supply . . . to your knowledge self-control.”—2 PETER 1:5-8. Self-control, which includes the ability to say no, is mentioned at 2 Peter 1:5-7 along with faith, virtue, knowledge, endurance, godly devotion, brotherly affection, and love. None of these other desirable qualities are wholly inborn. They must be cultivated. To manifest them in significant measure requires determination and effort. So should we expect self-control to be any easier? rue, millions of people may feel that they have no problem with self-control. They go about life doing as they please, knowingly or unknowingly conducting themselves in accord with the dictates of their imperfect flesh and giving little consideration to the consequences—to themselves or to others. The lack of ability and willingness to say no is more evident now than ever before. It is an indication that we are indeed living in “the last days” of which Paul spoke when he foretold: “Critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, . . . without self-control.” Self-control is mentioned at Galatians 5:22, 23 as part of “the fruitage of the [holy] spirit.” If we manifest this quality along with “love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, [and] mildness,” we will be benefited greatly. Doing so will prevent us, as Peter explained, from becoming “either inactive or unfruitful” in our service to God.  But we should not despair or condemn ourselves if we fail to display these qualities as rapidly and as fully as we would like. You have probably observed that in school one student learns more quickly than another. Or on the job one person learns a new task more quickly than fellow workers. Similarly, some learn to manifest Christian qualities more quickly than others. The important thing is to keep cultivating godly qualities in the best way we can. This we can do by taking full advantage of the help Jehovah provides through his Word and congregation. Speed in achieving our goal is less important than determined efforts to keep making progress. Despite being listed last in the qualities produced by the spirit, self-control is in no way less important than the others. Quite on the contrary. We should keep in mind that all “the works of the flesh” could be avoided if we had perfect self-control. Yet, imperfect humans are prone to give in to some form of “the works of the flesh . . . , fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects.”  We must therefore constantly put up a fight, being determined to root out negative tendencies from both heart and mind. Lesson for today. (Gal 6:2, 5) https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2003762#p5

  20. Attitude Makes a Difference! ????? Which of the following do you think has the biggest effect on your happiness? your circumstances your genes your attitude SOME would choose “circumstances,” perhaps saying, “I would be happy . . . “if only I had more money” “if only I had a great marriage” “if only I had better health” In reality, though, attitude often trumps circumstances and genes when it comes to happiness. And that is good news. Why? Because unlike your circumstances or your genes—over which you have little or no control—you can control your attitude. “GOOD MEDICINE” A Bible proverb states: “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit saps one’s strength.” (Proverbs 17:22) In other words, your attitude makes a difference! It can affect whether you attain a goal or give up or whether a tragic event brings out the best in you or the worst. Some people might be skeptical of that idea. They might reason: ‘Why hide my hardships behind a mask of optimism?’ ‘No amount of positive thinking will change my situation.’ ‘I would rather be a realist than a dreamer.’ Those thoughts might seem valid. Still, there are benefits to adopting a positive outlook. To illustrate, consider the following scenarios. A Bible proverb states: “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit saps one’s strength.” (Proverbs 17:22) In other words, your attitude makes a difference! It can affect whether you attain a goal or give up or whether a tragic event brings out the best in you or the worst. Some people might be skeptical of that idea. They might reason: • ‘Why hide my hardships behind a mask of optimism?’ • ‘No amount of positive thinking will change my situation.’ • ‘I would rather be a realist than a dreamer.’ Those thoughts might seem valid. Still, there are benefits to adopting a positive outlook.  THE BIBLE SAYS: “If you become discouraged in the day of distress, your strength will be meager.”—Proverbs 24:10. WHAT IT MEANS: Pessimism will sap you of the strength you need to improve your situation or to help you deal with it. THE BIBLE SAYS: “All the days of the afflicted one are bad, but the one with a cheerful heart has a continual feast.”—Proverbs 15:15. WHAT IT MEANS: If you see everything negatively, you will feel “afflicted” and every day will appear “bad,” or gloomy. But if you focus on positive things, you will have “a cheerful heart” and even feel joyful. The choice is yours.  THE BIBLE SAYS: “There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.”—Acts 20:35. WHAT IT MEANS: Unselfish giving brings deep satisfaction to the giver. Why? Because we were created to do more than simply look after our own needs. (Philippians 2:3, 4;1 John 4:11) Experiencing the joy of giving can do much to help us cope with negative circumstances in life. Care for your attitude in the same way you would cultivate a garden. Root out the poisonous weeds of pessimism and negativity. Sow seeds of realistic optimism, and fertilize your life with actions that produce positive emotions. You will reap an emotional crop that will make your life much more rewarding. And it will confirm the fact that attitude makes a difference! Lesson for today. 23. Keeping Anger Under Control - “Let Anger Alone“ ???? A calm heart is the life of the fleshly organism.” (Proverbs 14:30) ? The idea of controlling your anger is beautifully expressed by the Bible psalmist David. He said: “Let anger alone and leave rage; do not show yourself heated up only to do evil.” (Psalm 37:8) ? The way to avoid saying or doing something that you may later regret is to keep from getting “heated up” in the first place. Of course, that is much easier said than done. But it can be done! LetÂ’s consider three ways that you can get your anger under control. ? Reduce AngerÂ’s Intensity To reduce anger, slow down and relax. Try to avoid saying the first thing that comes to mind. If you feel yourself getting overly excited and feel you are in danger of losing control of your emotions, apply the BibleÂ’s counsel: “The beginning of contention is as one letting out waters; so before the quarrel has burst forth, take your leave.”—Proverbs 17:14. ? Learn to Relax Applying this basic Bible truth can improve oneÂ’s emotional, physical, and spiritual health. Start by learning simple relaxation methods, which help to reduce feelings of anger. ? The following techniques have proved to be effective in combating stress-related anger: ? Breathing deeply, which is one of the best—and fastest—ways to reduce the intensity of your anger. ? While breathing deeply, repeating a word or phrase that is calming to you, such as “relax,” “let it go,” or “take it easy.” ? Immersing yourself in something you enjoy—perhaps reading, listening to music, gardening, or some other type of activity you find relaxing. ? Getting regular exercise and eating a healthful diet. - Bible Speaks - Please Read the whole Article at: https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/102012083?q=anger&p=par
