  2. Do You Know Elephants Can Sense Thunderstorms From 186Miles Away? – ??????? Researchers who followed fourteen different elephant herds in Western Namibia for seven years have concluded that the animals have the ability to sense thunderstorms up to 186 miles away — most likely from rain system generated infrasound — and can predict approaching rain up to twelve days before it occurs. Western Namibia is a vast expanse of land with a protracted dry season, and different herds in disparate locations, which desperately need the water and the vegetation that comes with it, will simultaneously change their migratory path, and pace, to head towards rain that is pending or falling great distances away. This discovery could have major implications for conservation efforts, helping wildlife officials to better predict the location and movement of elephant herds sought by poachers. more than 100 thousand african elephants were killed for their ivory, and with many experts estimating there to be no more than 400 thousand left, the animal could be extinct within the decade. Soon God's Kingdom will save the whole earth. Humans and all creatures great and small. (Matthew 6:10). Remember: “An Elephant ? Never Forgets”
  3. "They do not know the voice of strangers." —John 10:5. ??? When we hear two voices at the same time, we have to choose which one we will focus on. ??? Our selection will depend on which one we want to listen to. The Jews who wished to do the desires of their father, the Devil, did not listen to Jesus. ??? Today, we receive messages from ‘the house of wisdomÂ’ and from ‘the house of stupidity.Â’Â ??? Both wisdom and stupidity keep crying out to us, as it were, and that presents us with a choice. ??? Whose invitation will we accept? The answer depends on whose will we wish to do. JesusÂ’ sheep listen to his voice and follow him. - John 10:16, 27.
  4. Mother Rarámuri prevents blood transfusion to her daughter with leukemia and opens debate in Mexico The case comes to the Supreme Court at a time when the girl is already at risk of dying Mother Rarámuri prevents blood transfusion to her daughter with leukemia and open debate in Mexico The Jehovah's Witnesses do not accept blood transfusions.  BY: GARDENIA MENDOZA 20 OCTOBER 2017 MEXICO CITY - The Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) analyzes the case of the mother of a Rarámuri girl suffering from leukemia, who opposes having her daughter receive blood transfusions because her religion (Jehovah's Witnesses) prohibits because of a biblical interpretation that "God has commanded Christians to abstain from blood." In order to prevent doctors and authorities from insisting on transfusion, the woman, whose name remains anonymous, filed an amparo (legal remedy that proceeds in case of human rights violations) against the Comprehensive Family System (DIF) of Chihuahua, the institution of the government that took custody of the child to follow the medical recommendations. Through her lawyers, she argued that the Assistant Attorney General for Child and Adolescent Protection "discriminated" her for not accepting her proposal to use "alternative means" for transfusion, although she did not clarify what those means would be. Judge Mauricio Fernández Mora granted the amparo and ordered that all "alternative means" be applied first before the transfusion and asked the three powers of Chihuahua - executive, legislative and judicial - to carry out reforms and create a protocol for doctors to be heard by the courts when a parent refuses to administer treatments to children. Conformed by this resolution, the Chihuahua authorities took the case to the SCJN where it is discussed in the last hours and against time because the girl, who already received chemo, is not receiving any transfusion and her life is in danger. The Network for Children's Rights in Mexico, one of the organizations with the greatest impact on public policies in favor of children, reminded Supreme Court justices that "there are already international instruments" and "national laws" that they consider to children as citizens with full rights, among which, the most important is the right to life. "In Mexico we have a cultural problem of considering children as parents' property and it is not," said Juan Martín Pérez, president of the Network. The activist questioned the fact that, in the case of the Rarámuri girl, the parents' faith is extended to their children because not even the law of customs and customs of the native peoples forbids transfusions. "The supreme court is going to have to listen with the help of the professionals also to the girl and to obtain the position in the subject. I believe that at the heart of the debate and the legal challenge is to make it clear that children are the property of parents. Or not". 5. HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED... WHY DO JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES  CALL THEIR MEETING PLACE A KINGDOM HALL RATHER THAN A CHURCH? The bible answers.... In the Bible, the Greek term that is sometimes translated “church” refers to a group of worshippers, not to the building they meet in. Note this example: When the apostle Paul wrote to the Christians in Rome, he sent greetings to a couple named Aquila and Priscilla and added: “Greet the church that meets in their home.” (Romans 16:5, Contemporary English Version) Paul didn’t intend for his greetings to be conveyed to a building. Rather, he was sending his greetings to people—the congregation that met in that home. So instead of calling our place of worship a church, we use the term “Kingdom Hall.” Why “Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses”? This term is fitting for a number of reasons: > The building is a hall, or meeting place. > We meet to worship Jehovah, the God of the Bible, and to witness, or testify, about him.—Psalm 83:18; Isaiah 43:12. > We also meet to learn about God’s Kingdom, of which Jesus often spoke.—Matthew 6:9, 10; 24:14; Luke 4:43. You are welcome to visit a Kingdom Hall near you and see for yourself how Jehovah’s Witnesses conduct their meetings. https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/faq/jehovahs-witnesses-church-kingdom-hall/
  6. Stress—What It Does to Us! - Keep Your Eyes on the Prize! ????? READ GOD'S WORD DAILY! What happens when you dash for a bus or a train? You can no doubt feel how your body responds by increasing your blood pressure and making your heart beat faster. Even if you miss your ride, your heart rate and breathing generally return to normal. ????? IF YOU are dealing with a long-term stressful situation, though, it may be different. Anxiety, muscle tension, increased blood pressure, and disturbed digestion may take longer to return to normal. More and more people find that the tension never goes away. For instance, many feel trapped in a dead-end job. How does stress affect your body and your health? ????? Your BodyÂ’s Reaction to Stress Dr. Arien van der Merwe, an expert on the subject, explains how your body reacts to stress. It instantly kicks into action, and a complex “stress cascade of neurochemicals and hormones rushes through your entire body, preparing every organ and system for the Red Alert stress response.” ????? You are immediately ready to take out-of-the-ordinary action. All your senses—including sight, hearing, and touch—are involved. Your brain quickly reacts, and your adrenal glands instantly release powerful hormones, revving up your muscles as well as your heart, lungs, and other organs for whatever might be needed to handle the stressful situation. Thus in an emergency your bodyÂ’s stress response may save your life, such as when it makes you leap out of the way of an oncoming car. It is a completely different matter, however, when stress is unrelenting. ????? When Stress Becomes an Enemy What if your body is constantly revved up? Your muscles remain tense, your pulse rate and blood pressure stay high, and elevated levels of cholesterol, fats, sugars, hormones, and other chemicals linger in the blood. Prolonged elevated levels of such chemicals—meant for short, intense, and infrequent bursts of activity—eventually damage important body organs. With what consequences? ????? You may begin experiencing backaches, headaches, muscle spasms of the neck, and muscle tension. According to doctors, those symptoms are often related to chronic stress. Ongoing stress can hamper creativity and productivity, as well as erode enthusiasm and damage interpersonal relationships. It can also lead to irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, and esophageal spasms. ????? The consequences of chronic stress may even be more serious. Stroke, heart attack, kidney failure, cardiovascular problems, and diabetes may be caused by or made worse by prolonged stress. ????? “Because of the secretion of cortisol in long-term stress,” writes Van der Merwe, “fat tends to accumulate around the abdomen and back.” Skin disorders, such as eczema and psoriasis, are associated with—or aggravated by—stress. Severe stress has also been linked to depression, increased aggression, and burnout. Memory and concentration too can be permanently impaired by constant stress. An immune system seriously compromised by long-term stress can make a person vulnerable to anything from the common cold to cancer and autoimmune diseases. ????? Stress has a huge impact on all aspects of our well-being—mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual—so we need to know how to control it. Yet, we do not want to eliminate the bodyÂ’s stress response altogether. Why not? ????? We might liken stress to a spirited horse. It can give us an enjoyable and exhilarating ride. However, if it goes wildly out of control, it can endanger our life. Similarly, stress in manageable doses can make life enjoyable and exhilarating, providing us with the stimulus to be creative, productive, enthusiastic, and healthy. ????? How, though, can we keep stress at manageable levels so that we can get the most out of our life? The following article discusses effective ways to control stress and our response to it. ????? “WONDERFULLY MADE” BY A WISE, LOVING CREATOR ????? Contrary to popular theory, our bodyÂ’s reaction to stress is not a residue of prehistoric manÂ’s response to the threat of mammoths and saber-toothed tigers. Rather, our intricate physiological systems have been skillfully shaped by a masterful Creator. For example, the bloodÂ’s complex clotting mechanism—its sophisticated capacity to fight infection and heal wounds—and the bodyÂ’s elaborate stress response all bear testimony to a wise and loving Designer. ????? Those bodily systems confirm that “in a fear-inspiring way [we are] wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:13-16) GodÂ’s loving spiritual and physical provisions, as well as the marvelous way he created humans to enjoy life, ensure that nothing will cause pain, mourning, or death in the coming earthly Paradise.—Revelation 21:3-5. ????? BAD EFFECTS OF PROLONGED STRESS ON THE BODY Headaches Tooth grinding Neck pain Heart disease Ulcers Back pain Muscle spasm https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/102010202?q=stress&p=par
  7. @blunderbuster a little over a year ago I had the pleasure to attend Grandpa’s last public talk..He was 91 years old. He got to give it in Guatemala., where him and grandma got to serve for many years. In the same Kingdom Hall He gave his first talk in Guatemala. And that He also helped built. The basis of his talk centered around our beautiful earth, and our lives in the new world. What we would want to do there, where we would want to live, what you would accomplish, and who you would like to see in the new world. I can honestly say I canÂ’t hardly wait to welcome him back. I look forward to building a home and incorporating some brick to it. So Him and I can work side by side. And He can show me some brick laying skills. He was a beautiful man, with an amazing story..His whole life centered around Jehovah and making the name known. If I ever had to compare his life story to anyone in the Bible. I would most likely pick Abraham. Abraham was a man of faith and honor, a man always wanted to please Jehovah. Grandpa had a good run of 92 years. 64 years of faithful service!!! Almost all of which was a pioneer with his wife Mary 1 month shy of his 70th year of marriage to Mary. I am going to miss you and your storyÂ’s for now grandpaÂ…I love you! I will see you later!! Contributed Thank you ?? ????
  8. @Gone Fishing Sadly, medicine is not an art and patients are just the next patient. Study and Doctors will differ on these opinions. Education is the tool, but many are negligent and trust Doctors. Our life is in their hands. Many Professional Doctors do not treat Jehovah’s Witnesses that way but many have received higher education and proved reliable and trustworthy. I always suggest to clients I have get 2-3 opinions. Thank you for your support.

  11. KEEP AWAKE - THIS IS SHOWING UP - KEEP ON THE WATCH! ? In the Congregations The latest news reports are that five terrorist cell groups have been operating in many congregations. They have been identified as: Bin Sleepin; Bin Arguin; BinFightin; Bin Complainin; and Bin Missin. Their leader . . . Satan Bin Workin. He has trained these groups to destroy the Christian Congregation. The plan is to come into the congregation disguised as Christians and to work within it to discourage, disrupt, and destroy. However, there have been reports of a sixth group. A tiny cell known by the name of Bin Prayin is actually the only effective counter terrorist force. Unlike other terrorist cells, the Bin Prayin team does not blend in with whomever and whatever comes along. Bin Prayin does whatever it needs to uplift and encourage. We have noticed that the Bin Prayin group has different characteristics than the others. They have Bin Watchin, Bin Doin, Bin Listenin to their Master . . . Jesus Christ. You can spot them if you bin lookin and bin goin. You Best Keep On the Watch!"Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them." Contributed.
  12. Children will praise your name! ????? Lia took my brochure Listen to God and called our neighbor, Anabelle. Lia gave it to her then started browsing it. I let them be, thinking that they were only playing. When it came to Noah’s picture, I donÂ’t know why but Lia called me. I found out that Anabelle do not know Noah so I told them the story. After a while I asked Anabelle if she wanted a bible study. She started to say no when Lia stood up and run inside the house. I was surprised she came back with a Bible and the book Bible Teach. IÂ’ll ask the girl again tomorrow about a bible study because in the end they went inside the house and played. Â #jw
  13. In an effort to make their patients feel better about themselves, doctors will sometimes encourage these to forget their past misdeeds and move forward. While there is nothing wrong or inappropriate about this kind of advice the question is how would we balance this with the counsel found a Deuteronomy 9:7? Clearly, Jehovah God wants us to remember our past sins in a ‘positive wayÂ’ so that we avoid repeating the same offensive behavior. Not forgetting what weÂ’ve done to hurt Jehovah can be very constructive (not destructive) in rebuilding a better and stronger relationship with our Father Jehovah.Â
  14. In what way did the Israelites’ clothing not wear out and their feet not become swollen during their 40 year wilderness trek? This was a miraculous provision, as was the regular supply of manna. The Israelites used the same garments and protective footwear they started out with, likely passing them on to others as children grew up and adults died. Today, Jehovah also cares for our needs so that we can serve him faithfully and with perseverance. We never want to lose our faith in Jehovah and disobey him like the thousands of Israelites who died in the wilderness. Their bad example is a warning for us today. - Highlights From the Book of Deuteronomy 8:3,4.
  15. Many assert that there is no God and that life is a result of mindless evolution. If this view were true, life would simply be a product of a string of chemical and biological accidents, and our search for purpose and universal principles would be completely pointless. ???? Others believe that God created us and then abandoned us. In effect, this opinion renders us spiritual orphans, once again bereft of true purpose and standards. Consider: God provided each member of the animal kingdom with the instinctive wisdom needed to fulfill its niche in nature. As a result, his profound wisdom is manifest in the world around us. Would that same Creator form us and then leave us to flounder in the dark? By no means! —Romans 1:19, 20. https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1101989218

  17. Life Story - A MUST READ!! Awaiting a Kingdom That Is “No Part of This World” As told by Nikolai Gutsulyak For 41 days and nights, I had been caught in the middle of a prison uprising. Suddenly, I was jolted from sleep by cannon fire. Tanks and soldiers burst into the prison camp, attacking the prisoners. My life hung in the balance. HOW did I come to be in this situation? Let me explain. This event happened in 1954. At the time, I was 30 years old. Like many of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses living under the Soviet regime, I was incarcerated for remaining neutral in political issues and for telling others about the Kingdom of God. Our group of imprisoned Witnesses was made up of 46 men and 34 women. We were held in a labor camp near the village of Kengir in central Kazakhstan. There we lived in the midst of thousands of other prisoners. Joseph Stalin, leader of the Soviet Union, had died the preceding year. Many prisoners hoped that the new regime in Moscow might listen to their complaints about the harsh prison conditions. Prisoner discontent eventually boiled over into open prison rebellion. During the ensuing confrontation, we Witnesses had to make our position clear to the agitated rebels and also explain our stand to the military guards. For us to take that neutral position required faith in God. Pressured to Join At that time, two rebels approached me. One held out a freshly sharpened knife. “Take this!” he ordered. “YouÂ’ll be needing it for protection.” Silently, I asked Jehovah to help me stay calm. I replied: “I am a Christian, one of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses. Other Witnesses and I are serving time here because we fight, not against people, but against invisible spirit forces. Our weapons against them are our faith and our hope in GodÂ’s Kingdom.”—Ephesians 6:12 To my surprise, the man nodded that he understood. However, the other man hit me hard. Then they left. The rebels went from barracks to barracks, attempting to force the Witnesses to join the uprising. But all of our Christian brothers and sisters refused. The neutral position of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses was discussed at a meeting of the rebel committee. “Members of all faiths—Pentecostals, Adventists, Baptists, and everyone else—are joining the uprising. Only JehovahÂ’s Witnesses have refused,” they noted. “What will we do with them?” Someone suggested throwing one Witness into the prison oven to put some fear into us. But a former military official, a prisoner respected by the others, stood up and said: “That is unwise. We should put them all in one barracks right on the edge of the camp, next to the gate. That way, if the army attacks us with tanks, the Witnesses will be the first ones to be run over. And we will not be the ones guilty of killing them.” The others accepted his suggestion. Put in HarmÂ’s Way Before long, prisoners walked around the camp shouting, “JehovahÂ’s Witnesses, get out!” Then they herded all 80 of us toward a barracks at the edge of the camp. They dragged the bunk beds out of the barracks to make more room inside and ordered us to enter. That barracks became our prison within the prison. To provide some privacy, the Christian sisters in our group stitched sheets together, and we used them to divide the barracks into two sections—one for the men and the other for the women. (Later, a Witness in Russia made a drawing of this barracks, which is shown below.) While living in those cramped quarters, we often prayed together, fervently asking Jehovah to give us wisdom and “power beyond what is normal.”—2 Corinthians 4:7 All that time, we were dangerously situated between the rebels and the Soviet army. None of us knew what either side might do next. “DonÂ’t keep trying to guess,” urged an older, faithful Christian brother. “Jehovah will not abandon us.” Our dear Christian sisters—both young and old—showed exceptional endurance. One was about 80 years old and needed extra help. Others were sick and in need of medical attention. Throughout that time, the doors of the barracks had to remain open so that the rebels could monitor us constantly. At night, armed prisoners came into the barracks. Sometimes they were heard to say, “The Kingdom of God is asleep.” During the day, when they allowed us to go to the camp mess hall, we always stayed together and prayed that Jehovah would protect us from violent men. On June 26 we were awakened by a deafening volley of cannon fire. Tanks crushed the fence and burst into the camp. They were followed by waves of assault troops firing machine guns. Prisoners—men and women—rushed toward the oncoming tanks, yelling “Hurrah!” and hurling rocks, homemade bombs, and anything else they could get their hands on. A fierce battle ensued, and we Witnesses were caught right in the middle. How would Jehovah answer our prayers for help? Suddenly, soldiers dashed into our barracks. “Come on out, you holy ones!” they shouted. “Quick, get yourselves outside the fence!” The officer in charge ordered the soldiers not to shoot us but to stay with us and protect us. While the battle raged, we sat on the grassy steppe beyond the perimeter of the camp. For four hours we listened to explosions, shots, screams, and moans coming from inside the camp. Then, all fell silent. Later, in the morning light, we saw soldiers carrying the dead out of the camp. We learned that hundreds had been wounded or had perished. Later that day, an officer whom I knew came up to us. “So, Nikolai,” he proudly asked, “who saved you? Did we or did Jehovah?” We sincerely thanked him for saving our lives, adding, “We believe that our almighty God, Jehovah, moved you to spare us, as he moved others to deliver his servants in Bible times.”—Ezra 1:1, 2 The same officer also explained to us how the soldiers knew who we were and where we were located. He said that during one of the negotiation sessions between the military and the rebels, the military accused the rebels of killing prisoners who did not support them. In defense, the rebels replied that JehovahÂ’s Witnesses did not participate in the uprising but were not killed. Instead, as a punishment, all of the Witnesses were imprisoned in one barracks. The military officials took note of that statement. We Stood Firm for the Kingdom Well-known Russian author Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, in his book The Gulag Archipelago, mentions the prison rebellion that we experienced. Concerning that event, he writes that the rebellion started because, as he said, “we want freedom, of course, . . . but who can give it to us?” As Witnesses of Jehovah in the same prison camp, we too longed for freedom. However, not just freedom from prison but freedom that only GodÂ’s Kingdom can provide. While in prison, we knew that we needed strength from God to stand firm on the side of his Kingdom. And Jehovah provided us with everything we needed. He gave us victory without the use of knives or grenades.—2 Corinthians 10:3 “My kingdom is no part of this world,” Jesus Christ told Pilate. “If my kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought.” (John 18:36) As ChristÂ’s followers, therefore, we took no part in political struggles. We were happy that during and after the uprising, our loyalty to GodÂ’s Kingdom was evident to others. Of our conduct during that time, Solzhenitsyn wrote: “JehovahÂ’s Witnesses felt free to observe their rules strictly and refused to build fortifications or stand guard.” More than 50 years have passed since those turbulent events. However, I often look back on those times with gratitude because I learned enduring lessons, such as to wait on Jehovah and to trust fully in his mighty arm. Yes, like so many other dear Witnesses in the former Soviet Union, I have experienced that Jehovah truly gives freedom, protection, and deliverance to those who await a Kingdom that is “no part of this world.” Read the whole experience, faith strengthening!! https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/2007160?q=on+the+edge&p=par Â
  18. England Newspaper Jehovah's witness dies after refusing blood transfusion during the main operation. A Jehovah's witness lost his life after refusing a blood transfusion during an important hip surgery due to his religious beliefs. Barbara Mortimer, 69, was against the medical council and died sadly on 24 may 2017, shortly after a hip replacement. A final hearing was held yesterday at the old courthouse in Hatfield (Wednesday, 18 October) before the coroner Geoffrey Sullivan. The Court heard that in January of this year, Mrs. Mortimer visited her gp mark penwell with "severe pain in the left hip". Dr. Penwell said, " she was struggling to walk with him, even with a cane. "the only useful intervention was a hip replacement". He admitted, however, that he was concerned about Mrs. Mortimer, from Portland road, Bishop's Stortford, who would reject any blood product because she was Jehovah's witness. Mrs... Mortimer also suffered what was thought to have been a heart attack in 2006 and acute coronary syndrome after having chest pain in 2010. For her hip, Mrs. Mortimer was referred to orthopedic surgeon sharma. He said, " she came to see me at the clinic on Thursday, March 23 " she came in with a diagnosis of hip arthritis on one side. "had an x-Ray showing that the joints were worn out". The risks associated with the procedure, including the displacement of the hip, heart attack and the most common infection, were discussed with Ms. Mortimer. Mrs. Mortimer chose to ungerar the surgery, but she was taking aspirin at the time of thinning blood. There was also a risk that he would need a blood transfusion during the operation. The steps included the administration of tranexamic acid, adrenaline-Soaked Swabs and an aesthetic of the vertebral column rather than general, since all of these help prevent and restrict blood loss. Mr... Mr. Sharma said, " we need to make sure our surgery is such a way to prevent bleeding. "it was safe to proceed as long as we took all necessary precautions". The procedure continued with the haemoglobin levels of Ms. Mortimer within an acceptable range. But during the operation after the joint was dislocated, the living part of the bone began to bleed. The bleeding then became "exponentially massive", according to Mr. Sharma after the elimination of the hard cartilage. The Adrenaline Swabs, an alternative method to stop the bleeding due to Mrs..'s belief. Mortimer, they were inserted to constrain the blood vessels as well as a plastic membrane. Mr... Sharma said, " we continue with the procedure, it was the best way to stop the bleeding. " I couldn't think why there would be so much sangria. " was it aspirin? It would have had a significant effect on her or there was an anomaly in the pelvic bone?" After the surgery, Mr... Mr. Sharma spoke to Mrs.'s family. Mortimer. "recommended blood products were rejected", he said. " we were fighting to keep her alive if we can't give her blood. The persistent refusal was risking his life ". Mrs... Mortimer faced the decision to accept blood products or hope that the liquids administered to his postoperación will stimulate the production of cells after such large blood loss. She died during the first hours of the morning at rivers hospital. Sharma was challenged in court by lawyer Kate Smith, who asked whether more investigations should be done before hip replacement due to his age, religious beliefs, medical records and the fact that he was taking aspirin. Mrs... Smith presented a brochure in the court about Jehovah's witnesses and surgery. He said that "any medicine that could increase blood loss should be avoided", referring to aspirin that slimming the blood and makes the possibility of needing a blood transfusion more likely. Mrs... Mortimer signed a rejection form indicating his religious convictions that "blood transfusions should not be administered under any circumstances". Mr... Mr. Sharma said in "Retrospective" that there are things that would have been done differently, but at that time all security precautions had been taken. The operation was not considered potentially fatal either. He was also challenged if Mrs. Mortimer needed to be taking aspirin. The decision to take this course was made on the basis that she had suffered a heart attack, then found out that it was false. Coroner Geoffrey Sullivan said, " I can't see a short conclusion. " the right form in my mind is a narrative verdict covering the loss of blood [by the surgical procedure and decreased blood products. "she was admitted to rivers hospital, had taken the advanced decision not to accept blood products and asked her to consider accepting blood products, but refused to do so". http://www.essexlive.news/news/essex-news/jehovahs-witness-dies-after-refusing-654766
  19. Comment from  the Nigerian press, “Jehovah’s Witnesses Extremists” Another country declares a religious group as "extremist" The Labelling of this religious group as "extremist" is becoming a tragic trend. Six months ago, Russia described Jehovah's witness as an extremist organization. Now, the South Ossetian Supreme Court, a separatist region, has done the same. This decision is based on the attorney-General of south ossetia, the assertion of uruzmag djagaev that "extremist ideas and extremist literature" are distributed and promoted in the group's meetings. The Court's decision was announced by zalina lalieva, the minister of justice for south ossetia on 17 October 2017., but the decision will not enter into force this week. Lalieva said: " it will enter into force within ten days if it is not contested. A register of such organizations will be preserved in the future. I think they will secretly meet in some way, but their activities will be supervised by the competent authorities ". Any member who is found guilty of participating in any religious activity will face up to 10 years in prison. Hopefully, more actions by international organizations may result in the persecution of Jehovah's witnesses throughout the world. http://www.pulse.ng/communities/religion/south-ossetia-labels-jehovahs-witnesses-as-an-extremist-group-id7478962.html

  21. HOW HEAVY IS YOUR BAG? ???? A school teacher had each student bring a clear plastic bag and a sack of potatoes. For every person a student had refused to forgive in their life experience, they were told to choose a potato, write on it the name and date, and put it in the plastic bag. Some of the bags, as you can imagine, were quite heavy. ???? They were then told to carry this bag with them everywhere for one week, putting it beside the bed at night, on the car seat when driving, next to the desk at work. ???? The hassle of lugging this around made it clear what a weight was being carried spiritually. ???? And how each one had to pay attention to it all the time to not forget, and keep leaving it in embarrassing places. ???? Naturally, the condition of the potatoes deteriorated to a nasty slime. ???? This was a great metaphor for the price  we pay for keeping our pain and heavy negativity! Too often we think of forgiveness as a gift to the other person, and it clearly is for ourselves!! So the next time you decide you can't forgive someone, ask yourself ... isn't your bag heavy enough? ????
