  1. Help Them Return Without Delay!

“Whom shall we go away to? You have sayings of everlasting life.”—JOHN 6:68.

    ?????

Jesus said: “Pay attention to yourselves that your hearts never become weighed down with overeating and heavy drinking and anxieties of life . . . Keep awake, then, all the time making supplication that you may succeed in escaping all these things that are destined to occur.” (Luke 21:34-36) Those who have strayed from the flock but who want to enjoy the happiness they once knew can be encouraged to pray for holy spirit and divine help and to act in harmony with their prayers.—Luke 11:13.

    ?????

Because humans are imperfect, personality clashes occur, and this may stumble an individual. Some have been stumbled when a respected person in the congregation acted in an ungodly manner. If an inactive one has been affected in such a way, the visiting elder might point out that Jehovah does not cause anyone to stumble. So why should anyone sever his or her relationship with God and His people? Instead, should one not keep on serving God, confident that “the Judge of all the earth” knows what took place and will handle matters in the right way? (Gen. 18:25; Col. 3:23-25) If a person literally stumbled and fell, he would not deliberately remain in that position without even trying to get up.

    ?????

A joyful welcome awaits those returning to Jehovah. (Lam. 3:40) Their past experiences in GodÂ’s service undoubtedly brought them great joy. Untold future blessings await those who return to the flock without delay!

  2. "Jesus said, "There is more happiness in giving than receiving.” It is a simple secret, but when applied to your life, it adds complete meaning.

    ???

I have experienced the veracity in Jesus‘ words when serving in the Dominican Republic.

    ???

You go with the mentality of giving, but you gain more than what you give. You come back home with a rejoicing heart, real friendships from all over the world that are doing the same, but most important, the satisfaction of serving our Creator to your fullest potential during these last days.

    ???

Without a doubt I am convinced that the happiness I feel in my heart has always come from giving and serving Jehovah.“ Thank you

  3. Pioneering Strengthens Our Relationship With God

“It is good to make melody to our God.”—PSALM 147:1.

    ???

When we go out in the ministry, we think and talk about Jehovah. This strengthens our friendship with him. Many pioneers have felt that their love for God has become even deeper because they are able to spend more time in the ministry. This article will help both pioneers and those who want to become pioneers to think carefully about these questions: How can pioneering strengthen your relationship with Jehovah? If you are pioneering, what will help you to continue in this special service? If you are not pioneering yet, what can you do to start? Let us first talk about ways that pioneering can strengthen our friendship with God.

    ???

When we talk about future Kingdom blessings, we become closer to Jehovah. What is your favorite scripture to use when you go from house to house? Maybe it is Psalm 37:10, 11; Daniel 2:44; John 5:28, 29; or Revelation 21:3, 4. Each time we talk about these promises with others, we are reminded that “every good gift and every perfect present” comes from our generous God, Jehovah. This draws us closer to him.—James 1:17.

    ???

When we see how unhappy and helpless most people are, we become even more grateful for the truth. People in the world do not receive the help they need to have true success and happiness. Most worry about the future and have no hope. They search for the meaning of life. Even most who are religious know very little about the Bible. They are much like the people of Nineveh. (Read Jonah 4:11.) The more time we spend speaking to people in the ministry, the more we realize how well Jehovah takes care of us. (Isaiah 65:13) But Jehovah does more than take care of the needs of only his people. He gives everyone a chance to receive comfort and to have a real hope. This reminds us of how good Jehovah really is.—Revelation 22:17.

    ???

If you would like to pioneer and have the same blessings that pioneers have, pray to Jehovah about it. (1 John 5:14, 15) Talk to those who are pioneering. Set goals that will help you become a pioneer. That is what Keith and Erika did. Like many couples their age, they had been working full-time and had bought a house and a new car soon after they got married. They say, “We thought those things would bring us satisfaction—but they never did.” After Keith lost his job, he started serving as an auxiliary pioneer. He says, “Pioneering reminded me of how much joy comes from being in the ministry.” They became friends with a pioneer couple who helped them to realize that pioneering and having a simple life results in much joy. What did Keith and Erika do? They made a list of their goals, put it on their refrigerator, and checked off each goal as they reached it. After some time, they were able to pioneer.

    ???

Can you become a pioneer? If you feel that you are not able to pioneer right now, do all you can to get closer to Jehovah by doing your best in the ministry. If you pray to Jehovah and think carefully about your situation, you may realize that making some changes in your life will allow you to pioneer. When you start pioneering, your joy will be much greater than any sacrifices you will make. You will be happy because you are putting GodÂ’s Kingdom first in your life and because you are giving more to others. (Matthew 6:33) You will have more opportunities to think and talk about Jehovah, and this will deepen your love for him and make him happy.

  4. “Do put my tears in your skin bottle.” - Psalm 56:8. - ?????

David’s touching words about the skin bottle can also have special meaning for us.

    ?????

How so? Well, the Bible explains that Satan controls this world and that he has “great anger” in our day. As a result, there are many who, like David, are faced with emotional, mental, or physical suffering—especially those who are trying to please God.

    ?????

Does that describe you? With courage, “even weeping,” such faithful people never stop trying to live a life of integrity.

    ?????

They can be assured that their heavenly Father sees not only the trials they face but also the emotional impact of those trials.

    ?????

He truly understands the pain afflicting his servants, and he promises to make it all up to them therefore, he compassionately remembers their tears and sufferings, figuratively storing them up in his skin bottle.

  5. Dear brothers and sisters, on the video of Greece, a sister who lives in Athens informed us that this is an isolated case. It was a recording for a show on youtube. But we do not know if he really is an orthodox priest. She confirm that he is a rude and unbalanced person. It looks like it breaks several things because it's against the system! He is also against the internet, but he has a show on youtube!

Hostility and Anger Jehovah will repay! No fear Jehovah is Near! ??????

  6. A Box of Kisses ???

Some time ago, a man punished his 3-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper.

    ???

Money was tight and he became infuriated when the child tried to decorate a box and give a gift.

    ???

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, “This is for you, Daddy.” He was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty.

    ???

He yelled at her, “Don’t you know that when you give someone a present, there’s supposed to be something inside it?”The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said,”Oh, Daddy, it is not empty. I blew kisses into the box. All for you, Daddy.”

    ???

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness. It is told that the man kept that gold box by his bed for years and whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

    ???

In a very real sense, each of us as humans have been given a gold container filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, friends, family and Jehovah God. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold. -

  7. Scandal in Greece. These are the ones who call us extremists, the pagan cult of Orthodox.

Our brothers and sisters remained calm. The brothers tried to call the police
This was happening all the time when we were in Greece in the 1980. At that time the priests worked in gangs and all the brothers held magazines (no work was allowed home home but if they worked on the street) the bullied And the brothers were attacked. That's why they stood up in front of the U.S. Army Headquarters of Glyfada, because the American Army let the brothers pass through the army's entrance checkpoint for protection if the priests were trying to attack them.
Fortunately it is rare, but wise to be prepared for people who can be violent

  8. "THE HELPER THE HOLY SPIRIT"

    ?????

Didn't God's Word and Christ Jesus say " 16 And I will ask the Father and he will give you another helper to be with you forever, 17 the spirit of the truth, which the world cannot receive, because it neither sees it nor knows it. You know it, because it remains with you and is in you." John 14:16,17.

    ?????

Jesus gave his disciples a serious commission by instructing them: “Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19, 20) No easy task this, for it was to be accomplished in the face of opposition.—Matthew 10:22, 23.

    ?????

Opposition from outside was to be accompanied by a degree of friction from within the congregation. “Now I exhort you, brothers,” Paul wrote Christians in Rome about 56 C.E., “to keep your eye on those who cause divisions and occasions for stumbling contrary to the teaching that you have learned, and avoid them.” (Romans 16:17, 18)

    ?????

This situation would grow worse once the apostles died. Paul warned: “I know that after my going away oppressive wolves will enter in among you and will not treat the flock with tenderness, and from among you yourselves men will rise and speak twisted things to draw away the disciples after themselves.”—Acts 20:29, 30.

    ?????

God’s help was needed to counteract these obstacles. He did so through Jesus. After his resurrection, on the day of Pentecost 33 C.E., some 120 of his followers “all became filled with holy spirit.”—Acts 1:15; 2:4. He warned them: “They will deliver you up to local courts, and they will scourge you in their synagogues. Why, you will be haled before governors and kings for my sake, for a witness to them and the nations. However, when they deliver you up, do not become anxious about how or what you are to speak; for what you are to speak will be given you in that hour; for the ones speaking are not just you, but it is the spirit of your Father that speaks by you.”—Matthew 10:17-20.

  10. Which Picture is Your Favorite?

Jehovah favors them all! He loves His Creatures large and small!

    ????????

    Note ?

Man was charged with caring for the earth and all its animals. The Bible says: “Everything [God has] put under his feet: small cattle and oxen, all of them, and also the beasts of the open field, the birds of heaven and the fish of the sea.”—Psalm 8:6-8; 115:16.

???????? Merciful Treatment of Animals. Proverbs 12:10 says: “The righteous one is caring for the soul of his domesticanimal, but the mercies of the wicked ones are cruel.” Whereas the righteous person knows the needs of his animals and has a feeling for their welfare, the wicked person’s mercies are not stirred up by these needs. According to the selfish, unfeeling principles of the world, the treatment of one’s animals is based only on what benefit one might gain from them. What the wicked person would consider adequate care might actually be cruel treatment. (Contrast Ge 33:12-14.) The righteous person’s concern forhis animals finds precedent in God’s own care for them as part of his creation.—Compare Ex 20:10; De 25:4;22:4, 6, 7; 11:15; Ps 104:14, 27; Jon 4:11.

We work from our heart ❤️ many can't do this work, yet we are still loved by Jehovah and Christ Jesus Our Lord. If a piece of paper makes someone haughty or proud, then they have lost its true meaning of being an example to all and a lowly one.

Frankly, a Elder and "Pioneer" of 23 years helped me with another Elder through a rough "Christian marriage", that was abusive. Then this Elder, "Pioneer " fell apart and showed his bad under works to me, causing his being DF. If we are not humbled, sooner or later the spirit of selfishness becomes evident. Sadly, he's almost apostate today. We can only do one day at a time and be faithful. Christ Our Lord never gave out "certificates" either. Yet, they both wanted to be in Heaven with Him. Arguing on the road who was the greatest. Now that lesson is big!

True Christians will always show humility and love. If they truly are walking ? And following Our Lord Christ Jesus. That is true humbleness, not a "false front."

Ah, well. It is what it is. I think I got something or other years ago at the Pioneer School besides just the group photo, though I could be mistaken. I never it up on my office wall, though.

    @TrueTomHarley

You are worthy of honor and respect. Christ Jesus said "you receive free you give free." We are all good for nothing slaves, but I live for Jehovah and would die  for Him!

     Thank you for your encouragement!

    YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE

Finding Help to Understand the Bible

Imagine visiting a foreign land for the first time. You encounter people, customs, foods, and currency that are all unfamiliar to you. Understandably, you may feel frustrated.

You may feel the same way when you first read the Bible. You are stepping back into an ancient world that seems foreign to you. There you meet a people called Philistines, come across unusual customs, such as ‘ripping garments apart,Â’ or learn about a food called manna and a coin known as the drachma. (Exodus 16:31; Joshua 13:2; 2 Samuel 3:31; Luke 15:9) All of this could be confusing. As in the case of visiting a foreign land, would you not appreciate getting help from someone who could explain things to you?

    HELP IN THE PAST

From the time the sacred writings were first penned in the 16th century B.C.E., help has been provided for people to understand the text. For instance, Moses, the first leader of the nation of Israel, “undertook to explain” what was written.—Deuteronomy 1:5.

Qualified instructors of the Scriptures were still on hand some ten centuries later. In 455 B.C.E., a large group of Jews, including many children, were gathered together in a public square in the city of Jerusalem. Bible instructors were there “reading aloud from the [same sacred] book.” But they did more. “They helped the people to understand what was being read.”—Nehemiah 8:1-8.

Five centuries later, Jesus Christ was involved in a similar educational work. In fact, he was primarily known among the people as a teacher. (John 13:13) He taught large crowds, as well as individuals. On one occasion, he spoke to a great multitude, giving the famous Sermon on the Mount, and “the crowds were astounded at his way of teaching.” (Matthew 5:1, 2; 7:28) In the spring of 33 C.E., Jesus spoke to two of his disciples while they were walking along the road toward a village near Jerusalem, “fully opening up [“clearly explaining,” footnote] the Scriptures” to them.—Luke 24:13-15, 27, 32.

Disciples of Jesus were also instructors of God’s Word. On one occasion, an official from Ethiopia was reading a certain passage of the Scriptures. A disciple named Philip approached him and asked: “Do you actually know what you are reading?” The Ethiopian replied: “Really, how could I ever do so unless someone guided me?” Philip then explained the meaning of the passage to him.—Acts 8:27-35.

    HELP AVAILABLE TODAY

Like teachers and instructors of the Bible in the past, Jehovah’s Witnesses today are engaged in a Bible educational work in 239 lands worldwide. (Matthew 28:19, 20) Week by week, they help well over nine million individuals to understand the Bible. Many of those learners come from non-Christian backgrounds. These study sessions are free and can be held at one’s home or at another convenient location. Some people even enjoy their lessons by phone or video, using a computer or a mobile device.

Please contact any one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for details on how you can benefit from this arrangement. You will discover that, far from being a closed book, the Bible is “beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness,” so that you “may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.”—2 Timothy 3:16, 17.
