“Impossible!”—What Does It Mean?
THE Titanic, launched in 1912, was the largest and most luxurious ocean liner of its time. Because of its advanced scientific design, the vessel was considered “unsinkable.” What happened, of course, is history. On its maiden voyage, it struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic and sank, taking down with it some 1,500 of its passengers. The ship that was said to be impossible to sink vanished in the depths of the ocean in just a few hours.

The word “impossible” can mean a number of things. We may describe something as impossible in the sense that we feel it is beyond our ability to cope with, to accomplish, or to understand. Many of today’s technological accomplishments were at one time viewed as impossible because at the time, those things were beyond the ability of man to do or even to foresee. Putting a man on the moon, sending a vehicle to Mars and controlling it from Earth, mapping the human genetic code, and seeing a news event as it happens across town or across the globe—these are realities now that may have been described as impossible even just 50 years ago. The matter was well summarized by former U.S. President Ronald Reagan in an address to a group of leading figures in various fields of science: “You, on the cutting edge of technology, have already made yesterday’s impossibilities the commonplace realities of today.”

In view of the many astounding developments taking place, Professor John Brobeck observed: “A scientist is no longer able to say honestly something is impossible. He can only say it is improbable. But he may be able to say something is impossible to explain in terms of our present knowledge.” If something appears impossible to us, the professor went on to say, “one thing that needs to be added is a source of energy unknown to us in our biological and physiological sciences. In our Scriptures this source of energy is identified as the power of God.”

All Things Are Possible With God
Long before this observation was made by Professor Brobeck, Jesus of Nazareth, who has been described as the greatest man who ever lived, said: “The things impossible with men are possible with God.” (Luke 18:27) God’s holy spirit is the most powerful force in the universe. It cannot be measured in any technological way. Holy spirit can enable us to do things that are impossible in our own strength.

As humans, we often find ourselves in situations that we feel are impossible to deal with. For example, we may lose a loved one in death or our family life may become so stressful that we feel we cannot continue. Perhaps our way of life has taken us to the depths of despair and we feel there is no way out. We feel helpless and desperate. What can we do?
????????
The Bible tells us that a person who has faith in the Almighty and prays for His holy spirit while doing everything possible to please Him can receive help to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Note Jesus’ reassuring words: “Truly I say to you that whoever tells this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but has faith that what he says is going to occur, he will have it so.” (Mark 11:23) There is no situation that is impossible to bear or cope with if we allow the power of God’s Word and his spirit to influence our life.

While all of this is interesting, the Bible gives us a far stronger reason for believing in living forever than anything that logic and science might offer. Our Creator, Jehovah God, the Source of life, promises that “he will actually swallow up death forever.” (Psalm 36:9; Isaiah 25:8) Do you believe this? That promise comes from Jehovah, and it is impossible for him to lie.—Titus 1:2.

After 14 years of persecution, a member of the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) wanted for rape and kidnapping was arrested on Tuesday in the city of San José Del Monte
In 2003, he kidnapped 6 Jehovah's witnesses.
One of the sisters was raped by three terrorists, and he recognized his rapist in the trial.
2 of the witnesses were beheaded.
The others managed to flee.

Here in this photo we get to see what it was like inside Carnegie Hall in Pittsburgh when the funeral service was held for C.T.Russell. Right after the service his body was taken up to United Cemetery for burial. The only thing inside Carnegie Hall today that looks the same are the arches on the walls above the designs that are shaped like windows. Now it is very simple with no balcony, no chandeliers, no organ and the walls are stripped down to the old originals bricks. But even so it is fascinating to see it now in a way which reflects the 120+ years its been around.

Yes, Thank you! Men will only learn Truth from Our Maker Jehovah God. Yet, those who speak Truth are hated for Truth hurts. Christ Jesus Our Lord spoke Truth and He lost His Life only to save ours forever. Even though many  do not like God's Word of Truth we speak out boldly just as Our Lord and Christ taught us. Freedom from the True God Jehovah is True Freedom. Man has no freedom but only bondage to other men or governments. Soon Christ Jesus Our Lord will bring True Freedom Worldwide under God's Government. I think we are all ready for that!

The Truth Brings, “Not Peace, But a Sword”

"Quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner."—1 Cor. 5:11."

These critical last days are filled with conflict, and countless people have contentious attitudes. (2 Tim. 3:1-4) As Christians, we must wage a spiritual war against Satan and the false teachings that he promotes. (2 Cor. 10:4, 5) But the greatest threat to our peace may come from unbelieving relatives. Some might ridicule our beliefs, accuse us of dividing the family, or threaten to disown us unless we give up our faith.

Even when our relatives oppose our efforts to worship Jehovah, we continue to love them, but we must remember that our love for God and Christ comes first. (Matt. 10:37) We must also realize that Satan will try to use our affection for our family to break our integrity. Let us consider some situations involving family opposition and see how we can successfully face the challenges that these bring.

Are You “Zealous for Fine Works”?

"We recommend ourselves as God’s ministers . . . by sleepless nights, by times without food."—2 Cor. 6:4, 5. - Thank you Jehovah for our faithful brothers! ?

Your ministry may result in “sleepless nights” and “times without food.” (2 Cor. 6:5) These expressions paint a vivid picture of self-sacrifice and may well remind us of pioneers who give their ministry first place in life while supporting themselves financially. Consider, too, our devoted missionaries ‘who pour themselves out like a drink offering’ to serve people in foreign lands. (Phil. 2:17)

What about our hardworking elders who miss meals or lose sleep to care for JehovahÂ’s sheep? We also have our older ones and those in poor health who do their best to attend Christian meetings and participate in the field service. Our hearts swell with appreciation when we think of all these self-sacrificing servants of God. Such efforts affect how others view our ministry.

Paul pointed out that he had suffered tribulations, difficulties, beatings, and imprisonment. (Read 2 Corinthians 6:4, 5.) When we experience tests of faith, our endurance can help observers to accept the truth. 
????????????
If we are zealous for fine works, we will be richly rewarded with joy and satisfaction now. Moreover, we can look forward to the day when all mankind will display zeal for true worship in honor of our Creator, Jehovah.
