We went to the supermarket yesterday and was flooded because they were almost out of water, managers saying that they would have to ask for an emergency supply at that rate. The Soup, crackers and good preserves were backed up, everyone having the same idea, not perishable! Long lines even though gas prices Rose 40 cents in our area, but now they're completely out of gas. My family and I have made plans to evacuate the north, but we have removed our emergency packs only in case the traffic is backed up, with first aid kits, extra food, clothing changes, multiple tools like flashlights, etc.
The reaction to the storm has been to open your eyes. My family and I are not concerned about the damage to home that come as our lives are much more important than that, but for some people it's all they have. Solar déjà vu. The large sunspot that rotated out of view about two weeks ago has returned. Though much reduced in size, it did blast a good-sized coronal mass ejection about a week ago on the far side of the Sun. 
It was showing off numerous magnetic loops and arches above it as it came into view. We’ll be keeping an eye on this one for more solar activity. Sunspots can last from days to months, so for it to return again is not an unusual event.

Long lines even though gas prices Rose 40 cents in our area, but now they're completely out of gas. My family and I have made plans to evacuate the north, but we have removed our emergency packs only in case the traffic is backed up, with first aid kits, extra food, clothing changes, multiple tools like flashlights, etc.
The reaction to the storm has been to open your eyes. My family and I are not concerned about the damage to home that come as our lives are much more important than that, but for some people it's all they have. A JW  Brother from Puerto Rico:
Thanks to the Lord here in Puerto Rico we barely had the impact of the storm. But let me tell you what situation we are with only estimated winds of 90-95 mph. We are without energy / water on 90 % of the island. We have big old trees ripped from their roots. There are places underwater and it's still raining. There are roads closed by water, or fallen trees or cables everywhere. And again, we barely had any winds.
We have seen images (via phones) of Barbuda, st. St. Maarten. Thomas, and the situation is worse there. This week was I guess we started our visit to co, and also, a great construction work of our kh by ldc. The Co's visit was suspended, construction work is now pending, because they may need the ldc brothers to move to that island for disaster relief.
We thank Jehovah for our great brotherhood who is praying for us. And here we are praying for our brothers and sisters on those islands that may need our help.
Our brothers on Irma's path, listen to the instructions of the elders. Listen to the authorities. He doesn't think this can affect him. Save your life.

Hurricane Irma has already left hundreds of thousands of residents of Puerto Rico without electricity hours before the worst of the storm is expected to hit.
Nearly 300,000 people were already without power by Wednesday afternoon, The New York Times reported. About 4,000 were without water because the electricity was out.
The Miami Herald reported that parts of the island could be without power for four to six months.
At 4 p.m. on Wednesday the eye of the storm was still about 70 miles northeast of San Juan, but the island was already feeling the storm's tropical forces.
The National Hurricane Center's forecast Wednesday afternoon predicted that the Category 5 storm would start pounding Puerto Rico within hours, passing by the island's northern coast.
Just after 3 p.m. local time, Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rossello reported about 2,800 people and 230 pets were already taking refuge in shelters after evacuating.

Dear Brothers:
Many have expressed their love concerns for the well-being of those affected by recent devastating hurricanes. You should never underestimate the good effect your prayers may have on the brothers in an area that has been hit by a disaster. (2 cor. 1: 8-11) can also feel motivated to express their concern through a donation. Some have asked: " what is the best way to contribute financially to the relief work carried out by Jehovah's witnesses?"
It is recommended that all donations of humanitarian and relief assistance can be done throughout the world. Jehovah's witnesses do not maintain a separate fund which is limited only to a disaster area such as hurricane Harvey. Instead, the efforts to help this hurricane and other natural disasters are funded by work around the world.
This fund is used for aid efforts, as well as for the advancement of the spiritual needs of the Christian Brotherhood. In fact, victims of natural disasters need more than material aid. You need especially the comfort that word only of God, the Bible, can provide. Contributions for the world work can be done in your local kingdom hall or use the jw.org site. In addition, the funds that the congregations have already contributed to the global assistance agreement will also be used to repair damaged by the hurricane halls of the kingdom.
Please do not send donated clothes, supplies or materials for branches of branches or disaster areas unless specifically requested to do so by the branch or the relief committee. This will ensure an orderly aid effort and the proper distribution of assets. Members of the congregation can also help victims, providing voluntary labor for property repairs.

Natural Disasters—Evidence That God Is Cruel? ??????????
WHAT YOU MAY HEAR: “God rules the world, so he causes natural disasters; therefore, he must be cruel.”
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS: “The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.” (1 John 5:19) Who is “the wicked one”? The Bible identifies him as Satan. (Matthew 13:19; Mark 4:15) Is that far-fetched? Think of this: If Satan has power over the world, then he influences humans to be as selfish, greedy, and shortsighted as he is. Would that not help to explain why man so badly mismanages his own environment on the earth? Many experts warn that mismanagement of the environment may play a role in natural disasters, whether by causing them, worsening them, or making human society more vulnerable to them.
Then why does God allow Satan to have so much influence? The answer goes back to the dawn of human history, when our first parents rebelled against God as Ruler. Most of mankind has followed the same course ever since. That choice—the rejection of the rule of God—has placed the world of mankind in the hands of God’s enemy, Satan. Jesus thus called Satan “the ruler of the world.” (John 14:30) Will Satan rule forever? No!
Jehovah* is not callously indifferent to the suffering that Satan causes. In fact, God is deeply moved by human suffering. For example, concerning the hard times that befell the nation of Israel, the Bible says of God: “During all their distress it was distressing to him.” (Isaiah 63:9) Mercifully, God has arranged to bring the cruel rule of Satan to an end—soon! He has appointed his Son, Jesus Christ, to be a just and righteous King forever.
HOW YOU ARE INVOLVED: Although Satan’s rule has failed to protect people from natural disasters, Jesus’ rule will do so. Jesus once acted to protect his disciples during a violent storm. The Bible account says: “He . . . rebuked the wind and said to the sea: ‘Hush! Be quiet!’ And the wind abated, and a great calm set in.” The disciples said: “Who really is this, because even the wind and the sea obey him?” (Mark 4:37-41) That incident gives us confidence that Jesus will protect all obedient mankind during his rule as King.—Daniel 7:13, 14.

The seismic focus occurred at midnight on Thursday, 7 September, was located 69 km deep and the epicenter was located 113 km south of tonalá and 198 km South-Southwest of Tuxtla Gutierrez.
There was a replica of 5,7 to 29 miles southwest of wall, Mexico.
At least 16 people lost their lives in Mexico and Guatemala as a result of the devastating earthquake. 15 of them were in Mexico, 10 of them in the state of Oaxaca, 3 Chiapas Tabasco. In addition, one person died in Guatemala.
According to the governor of chiapas, as a result of the replicas there was damage to homes, schools, hospitals, there is no electricity. JEHOVAH has given us sound reasons for hope in the resurrection. We have his word that the dead will rise, standing up again to life. And his purpose regarding those asleep in death is sure to be fulfilled. (Isaiah 55:11; Luke 18:27) In fact, God has already shown his power to raise the dead.

Faith in GodÂ’s provision for raising thedead by means of his Son, Jesus Christ, can sustain us in times of stress. Thesureness of the resurrection hope can also help us to maintain integrity to our heavenly Father even to the point of death. Likely, our resurrection hope will be strengthened as we consider restorations to life recorded in the Bible. All these miracles were accomplished through power from the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.

GodÂ’s Son Raised the Dead

God’s Son, Jesus Christ, has given us sound reasons for believing that thedead can be resurrected, with theprospect of everlasting life. An incident that occurred near the city of Nain can help us to realize that such a miracle is possible through God-given power. On one occasion, Jesus met mourners carrying the body of a young man out of the city for burial. He was the only child of a widow. Jesus told her: “Stop weeping.” Then he touched the bier and said: “Young man, I say to you, Get up!” At that he sat up and spoke. Do We Have The Start of Signs in The Sun, ? ? and Stars? The Earth ? is Very Agitated With No Way Out!! Oh, This Sunspot is Stronger Today! Keep On The Watch! ???
Solar déjà vu. The large sunspot that rotated out of view about two weeks ago has returned. Though much reduced in size, it did blast a good-sized coronal mass ejection about a week ago on the far side of the Sun. 
It was showing off numerous magnetic loops and arches above it as it came into view. We’ll be keeping an eye on this one for more solar activity. Sunspots can last from days to months, so for it to return again is not an unusual event.

It's crazy here in fl, so many cars on the street getting ready for the storm. We went to the supermarket yesterday and was flooded because they were almost out of water, managers saying that they would have to ask for an emergency supply at that rate. The Soup, crackers and good preserves were backed up, everyone having the same idea, not perishable! Long lines even though gas prices Rose 40 cents in our area, but now they're completely out of gas. My family and I have made plans to evacuate the north, but we have removed our emergency packs only in case the traffic is backed up, with first aid kits, extra food, clothing changes, multiple tools like flashlights, etc.
