ERITREA: 20 YEARS AND STILL COUNTING– THE EXCEPTIONAL PERSECUTION OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES
"Three young Jehovah's witnesses; isaac mogos, Negede teklemariam  and Paulos Eyassu  were 18, 19 and 21 year old when they were arrested in September 24,1994 due to their conscientious objection to partake in military service because of their strong religious believes .They are now 42,43,44 and still in prison.

They have been denied the opportunity to marry and have children, give support to their aging parents, or live their lives as they choose. They have also been denied the opportunity to worship with their fellow believers. They have never been charged with a crime, nor have they been given the opportunity to defend themselves in a court of law"....

Bible Speaks got a reaction from E dub in Elephants ? Sound of Silence
    Elephants’ “Sound of Silence”
On a hot afternoon in the sprawling Amboseli National Park in Kenya, the large herd of elephants seems undisturbed by any intrusion into their habitat.
Yet, the air is full of “elephant talk,” ranging from low frequency rumblings to high frequency trumpets, roars, bellows, barks, and snorts. Some of the calls contain components that are below the level of human hearing and yet are so powerful that they can be heard by an elephant several miles away.
Experts in animal behavior continue to be puzzled by the intricate ways in which elephants convey serious messages.
Joyce Poole has spent over 20 years studying communication concepts among African elephants. She has concluded that these huge creatures, known for their coveted tusks, exhibit feelings found in very few animals. “It is hard to watch elephants’ remarkable behavior during a family or bond group greeting ceremony [or at] the birth of a new family member . . . and not imagine that they feel very strong emotions which could be best described by words such as joy, happiness, love, feelings of friendship, exuberance, amusement, pleasure, compassion, relief, and respect,” says Poole.
When getting together after being separated for long periods, their greetings turn to pandemonium, as members rush together with heads high and ears folded and flapping.
At times, an elephant will even put its trunk into another’s mouth. These greetings seem to give the elephants a deep sense of joy, as if they were saying, “Wow! It’s simply fantastic to be with you again!”
Such bonds renew the support network vital to their survival.
Elephants seem to have a sense of humor too. Poole describes watching elephants draw the corners of their mouths in what she called a smile, wagging their heads in a manner suggesting amusement.
She once initiated a game in which the animals took part, and for 15 minutes they behaved in a totally absurd manner. Two years later, some participants seemed to “smile” at her again, perhaps remembering her involvement in the game.
Not only do elephants amuse each other in play but they also mimic sounds. In a research project, Poole heard a sound that was different from the normal elephant calls. On analysis, it was suggested that the elephants were imitating the noise made by trucks passing nearby. And they were apparently doing it for fun! It is as if elephants look for any excuse to get excited.
Much has been said about the way elephants appear to mourn when calamity befalls a family member. Poole once observed a female standing guard over her stillborn baby for three days and described it this way: Her “facial expressions” seemed “similar to a grief stricken, depressed person: her head and ears hung down, the corners of her mouth were turned down.”
Those who kill elephants for ivory do not consider the ‘psychological trauma’ of the orphans who may have witnessed the killing of their mothers. These babies spend the first few days at an animal orphanage trying to overcome their “grief.” A keeper reported having heard the orphans “scream” in the morning. Repercussions can be observed several years after the death.
Poole suggests that the elephants can detect the hand of man in their suffering. We look forward to the time when man and beast will live together in peace.—Isaiah 11:6-9.

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Carol Ann Torres in Was Zipporah the Cushite wife of Moses in Numbers 12:1? – ❣️❣️❣️
Was Zipporah the Cushite wife of Moses in Numbers 12:1?
    ????????
Zipporah, is the Cushite wife mentioned in Numbers 12:1
Numbers 12:1 in the Authorized Version reads: “And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.”
    ????????
The New World Translation reads: “Now Miriam and Aaron began to speak against Moses on account of the Cushite wife whom he had taken, because it was a Cushite wife he had taken.”
    ????????
This started off a controversy that quickly led into the complaint by Miriam and Aaron that Moses took too much upon himself as JehovahÂ’s spokesman. It was more than an objection against MosesÂ’ choice of a wife. The real motive behind it was a desire by Miriam and Aaron for more power in the camp, and especially on MiriamÂ’s part.
Some Bible commentators say that since Moses had been married to Zipporah for a long time she was not the one involved here, as any objection against her would have been raised long before. So they reason that Zipporah had died and Moses had remarried, this time selecting an Ethiopian woman, and that this remarriage was recent and raised the controversy.
    ????????
But the Bible does not say this, and the circumstances do not require such reasoning. Zipporah had been away from Moses, and now she rejoined him in the camp near Mount Sinai. It was soon after the camp began to move that the contention arose. Hence, while the marriage was not recent, the presence of Zipporah in the camp was.—Ex. 18:1-5.
    ????????
Miriam feared being replaced as first lady in the camp, now that Zipporah had arrived. She got Aaron to join with her in complaining against Moses, first on the grounds of his wife, and then on the related but more general contention that Moses took too much authority to himself. Jealous ambition was involved in both aspects of the complaint, and logically ties together the first verse of Numbers chapter twelve with what follows.
    ????????
Some commentators fail to see this relationship and therefore argue that verse one does not fit with what follows and must be an interpolation. For these reasons, and in the absence of any record of Zipporah’s death and a remarriage on Moses’ part, it can be concluded that the Cushite woman was Zipporah. But she was the daughter of priest Reuel of the land of Midian, where the descendants of Abraham by Midian lived. She was not an Ethiopian. She was not a Cushite in the sense of being a descendant of Ham’s son Cush, the forefather of the Ethiopians.
    ????????
There were Arabians on the Arabian peninsula called Kusi or Kushim not Ethiopians. This is shown by Habakkuk 3:7 (AT): “The tent-hangings of Cushan were torn to shreds; the hangings of the land of Midian fluttered wildly.” Cushan is made parallel to Midian as the same place. So it seems that “Cushite” was not always limited to descendants of Ham through Cush, but also was applied to some of the peoples of the land of Midian. Therefore Zipporah could be referred to as a Cushite at Numbers 12:1.

     Psalm 72:8
"He will have subjects from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth."
    ???????
Who Is the Right Leader for Today?
Psalm 72 gives us some prophetic details of how this perfect, immortal King will rule. In Ps 72 verses 7 and 8, we read: “In his days the righteous one will sprout, and the abundance of peace until the moon is no more. And he will have subjects from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth.” Under his beneficial rule, earth’s inhabitants will enjoy everlasting and unbroken security. He will destroy all existing weapons and will remove from man’s heart even the desire for conflict. Those men who today attack others like voracious lions or who act like ill-tempered bears toward their neighbors will have changed their dispositions completely. (Isaiah 11:1-9) Peace will be abundant.
    ???????
Psalm 72 further says in Ps 72 verses 12 through 14: “He will deliver the poor one crying for help, also the afflicted one and whoever has no helper. He will feel sorry for the lowly one and the poor one, and the souls of the poor ones he will save. From oppression and from violence he will redeem their soul, and their blood will be precious in his eyes.” The lowly, poor, and afflicted will become part of one happy human family, unified under the leadership of the King Jesus Christ. Joy, not pain and despair, will characterize their lives.—Isaiah 35:10.
    ???????
Ps 72 Verse 16 promises: “There will come to be plenty of grain on the earth; on the top of the mountains there will be an overflow.” Hunger is the constant companion of millions on earth today. Politics and greed often prevent the fair distribution of sufficient food, so that multitudes, especially children, die of starvation. But under the rule of Jesus Christ, this problem will vanish. The earth will be blessed with good harvests of delicious food. All mankind will be well fed.

Touching Story ---> ''Our Apple Tree''
    ?????
A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, and took a nap under the shadow.
    ?????
He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time went by, the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day.
    ?????
One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
    ?????
“Come and play with me”, the tree asked the boy.
    ????????
“I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees any more” the boy replied.
    ?????
“I want toys. I need money to buy them.”
    ?????
“Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.”
    ?????
The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.
    ?????
One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned and the tree was excited.
    ??????
“Come and play with me” the tree said.
    ??????
“I do not have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?”
    ??????
“Sorry, but I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.” So the man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.
    ?????
One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted.
    ?????
“Come and play with me!” the tree said.
    ??????
“I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” said the man.
    ??????
“Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.”
    ??????
So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.
    ??????
Finally, the man returned after many years. “Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you”, the tree said. “No problem, I do not have any teeth to bite” the
    man replied.
    ????????
“No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now” the man said. “I really cannot give you anything, the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with tears.
    ?????
“I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied.
    ??????
“Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest, come sit down with me and rest.” The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.
    ??????????
This is a story of everyone. The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mother and Dad. When we grow up, we leave them; only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy.
    ????????????
You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents. We take them for granted; we donÂ’t appreciate all they do for us, until itÂ’s too late.
    ????????????

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Queen Esther in Touching Story ---> ''Our Apple Tree'' – ?????
    ~ Moral: ??????
Treat your parents with loving careÂ…. For you will know their value, when you see their empty chairÂ…We never know the love of our parents for us; till we have become parents.

Bible Speaks reacted to Bible Speaks in Was Zipporah the Cushite wife of Moses in Numbers 12:1?

In the FACE of Danger Where Do YOU Run? - What Tower is the ONLY Tower YOU Can Run to? -
Just Saying is NOT Running!! - See Why –
    ??????????????
(Proverbs 18:10) . . .The name of Jehovah is a strong tower. Into it the righteous runs and is given protection."
David understood even though his heart grew feeble, there is no strength in anyone else!
    ??????????????
(Psalm 28:7) "Jehovah is my strength and my shield. In him my heart has trusted, And I have been helped, so that my heart exults, And with my song I shall laud him.'
    ??????????????
(Psalm 61:superscription-8) To the director on stringed instruments. Of David. 61 Do hear, O God, my entreating cry. Do pay attention to my prayer. 2 From the extremity of the earth I shall cry, even to you, when my heart grows feeble. Onto a rock that is higher than I am may you lead me. 3 For you have proved to be a refuge for me, A strong tower in the face of the enemy. 4 I will be a guest in your tent for times indefinite; I will take refuge in the concealment of your wings. Se?lah. 5 For you yourself, O God, have listened to my vows. You have given [me] the possession of those fearing your name. 6 Days you will add to the days of the king; His years will be like generation after generation. 7 He will dwell to time indefinite before God; O assign loving-kindness and trueness, that these may safeguard him. 8 So I will make melody to your name forever, That I may pay my vows day after day."
    ??????????????
(1 Samuel 17:46) This day Jehovah will surrender you into my hand, and I shall certainly strike you down and remove your head off you; and I shall certainly give the carcasses of the camp of the Phi·lis?tines this day to the fowls of the heavens and to the wild beasts of the earth; and people of all the earth will know that there exists a God belonging to Israel."
    ??????????????
(Psalm 33:21) For in him our heart rejoices; For in his holy name we have put our trust."
    ??????????????
(Psalm 18:2) Jehovah is my crag and my stronghold and the Provider of escape for me. My God is my rock. I shall take refuge in him, My shield and my horn of salvation, my secure height."
    ??????????????
(Psalm 71:3) Become to me a rock fortress into which to enter constantly. You must command to save me, For you are my crag and my stronghold."
    ??????????????
(Psalm 91:14) Because on me he has set his affection, I shall also provide him with escape. I shall protect him because he has come to know my name."
    ??????????????
In Bible times, towers were sometimes built in the wilderness as safe places of refuge. But it was up to the one in danger to flee to such a tower to find safety. It is similar with finding refuge in God’s name. This involves more than just repeating God’s name; the divine name itself is no magic charm.
    ??????????????
Rather, we need to know and trust the Bearer of that name and live in harmony with his righteous standards. How kind of Jehovah to reassure us that if we turn to him in faith, he will be a tower of protection for us!

“The Blessing of Jehovah—That Is What Makes One Rich!"
    ??????????
    New World Translation
    Proverbs 10:22

22 It is the blessing of Jehovah that makes one rich, And He adds no pain* with it."
ALL of us want to be blessed. The American Heritage College Dictionary says that blessings promote “happiness, well-being, or prosperity.” Since Jehovah is the Giver of “every good gift and every perfect present,” every real, lasting blessing originates with our loving Creator. (James 1:17)
    ??????????
He showers blessings upon all mankind, even upon those who do not know him. Jesus said of his Father: “He makes his sun rise upon wicked people and good and makes it rain upon righteous people and unrighteous.” (Matthew 5:45) However, Jehovah shows special concern for those who love him.—Deuteronomy 28:1-14; Job 1:1; 42:12.
    ??????????
The psalmist wrote: “Jehovah himself will not hold back anything good from those walking in faultlessness.” (Psalm 84:11) Yes, those who serve Jehovah have rich, meaningful lives. They know that “the blessing of Jehovah—that is what makes rich, and he adds no pain with it.” The Bible also says: “Those being blessed by [Jehovah] will themselves possess the earth.” (Proverbs 10:22; Psalm 37:22, 29)

What a blessing that will be!
