    BEAR
[Heb., dov or dohv; Gr., arʹkos].
The Syrian brown bear (Ursus arctos syriacus) is the animal formerly encountered in Palestine, and is still found in N Syria, NW Iran, and S Turkey. It is most often light brown in color and averages about 140 kg (310 lb) in weight. Despite seeming awkwardness, the bear can move with great rapidity even over rough ground, some varieties attaining a speed of nearly 48 km (30 mi) an hour for a short distance. Bears are also good swimmers, and most of them can climb.
The idea that bears hug or squeeze their victims to death is not borne out by the facts. When engaged in a struggle, the bear strikes with its huge paws, and its powerful, heavy arms drive the nonretractile claws deep into the body of its opponent. A single blow may be sufficient to kill an animal such as a deer. Most appropriately, therefore, the Scriptures allude to the bear’s dangerousness in parallel with that of the lion. (Am 5:19; La 3:10) Naturalists, in fact, consider the bear to be even more dangerous than the large cats. Usually, however, the bear, like other animals, does not molest humans but avoids them, although it may attack when provoked or surprised.
The ferocity of the female bear when its young are lost is mentioned several times in the Scriptures. (2Sa 17:8; Pr 17:12; Ho 13:8) Bears, on one occasion, served as God’s executioners against the delinquent youths who mocked the prophet Elisha.—2Ki 2:24.
Bears subsist on a varied diet, feeding on leaves and roots of plants, fruits, berries, nuts, eggs, insects, fish, rodents, and the like, and have a special fondness for honey. Although there are exceptions, bears seem to prefer a vegetarian diet. Nonetheless, in ancient Israel, when fruits and other nonflesh items of the bear’s diet were scarce, herders of sheep and goats had to be on guard against the depredations of bears. In his youth David had to brave the attack of a bear in order to protect his father’s flock.—1Sa 17:34-37.
When bears are hungry and get the scent of prey, they are known to make an impatient groaning sound. So the prophet Isaiah describes the Israelites as ‘groaning like bears’ in expectation of justice and salvation, only to be disappointed repeatedly. (Isa 59:11) An onrushing bear is also fittingly likened to a wicked ruler who harries and oppresses his lowly subjects.—Pr 28:15.
In Daniel’s vision of terrible beasts symbolizing world powers of earth, the bear represented the Medo-Persian World Power and its greed for territorial conquest and pillage. (Da 7:5, 17) Rapacious like this, the wild beast out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, is seen in John’s vision to have feet “as those of a bear.” (Re 13:2) The peacefulness among Jehovah’s regathered people, under Messiah’s rule, is indicated by the prophecy that the bear will feed with the cow.—Isa 11:7.

Video by @tobyharriman // Two years ago today  bear was wandering around just below our hill. I quietly set up my camera and was able to capture these peaceful shots as it started climbing up the mountainside. The last clip of the sun hitting him is definitely my favorite. Looks like he found the best view for sunrise. Follow me @tobyharriman for more!

    Making Whole-Souled Sacrifices for Jehovah
King David sang to Jehovah: “May my prayer be prepared as incense before you.” (Ps. 141:2) Think for a moment about your prayers—about their regularity and their quality. The book of Revelation likens “the prayers of the holy ones” to incense in that acceptable prayers rise to Jehovah like a sweet-smelling and pleasant odor.
    ??????
(Rev. 5:8) In ancient Israel, the incense that was regularly offered on Jehovah’s altar had to be carefully and precisely prepared. It was acceptable to Jehovah only if offered according to the guidelines that he had established.
    (Ex. 30:34-37; Lev. 10:1, 2)
    ??????
If our heartfelt prayers are similarly formulated, then we can be sure that they are acceptable to Jehovah.

BW Chapter 8 pg 44 par 52-53:  "Help for Bearing Up Under Suffering."
52 Since Jehovah God allows his loyal servants to undergo severe treatment to refine them and for them to demonstrate their devotion, how could we imagine that the “ungodly man and the sinner” inside the Christian congregation or “house of God” could even “make a showing” before Him along with “the righteous man” inside the same congregation? The psalmist states: “The wicked ones will not stand up in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of righteous ones.” (Psalm 1:5) No, the wicked will not stand as approved but will be condemned. They may be found in the assembly of righteous ones, but they will never make a favorable “showing” before God. Because of what all believers must face in this world, their finally being saved for everlasting life takes real effort, love and faith in the way of righteousness. Hence, their salvation is “with difficulty.” Consequently it behooves all members of the Christian congregation (“house of God”) to avoid being “ungodly” and “sinners” in this “appointed time” of judgment.—1 Peter 4:17, 18; Proverbs 11:31.
53 Trials that we simply could not endure in our own strength may befall us. However, no matter how pathetic our situation may become, Jehovah God can sustain us and totally undo all the hurt that we may experience. When we commit ourselves fully to him, he can strengthen us by means of his spirit to bear up under suffering. Being, as Peter states, a “faithful Creator,” a God whom we can trust, he will not prove unfaithful to his promise to come to the aid of his servants. (1 Peter 4:19) This knowledge can help us to avoid reacting in a God-dishonoring way toward our persecutors. Instead of fighting against them, retaliating in kind, we will want to keep on doing good.—Luke 6:27, 28.

Thank you a nice thought! We must display Loyal Love to our Father and respect everyone. He watches us and how we act to others. A real Christian never hates but show godly love and honor to all. Any vengeance Jehovah pays. We need not worry. He has placed His Son to judge and He himself will judge all. We throw all sadness, anxiety and pain to him. It's too much for us to carry anyhow.
    Jehovah Bless you.

"Mr. D. - An Unwelcome Visitor" LONG BUT WORTH IT!
    ????
Talk by District Overseer given when visiting the host congregation in Queens, NY. Long but good!!
    ???
He started off by saying that we are going to talk about Mr D. He said that Mr D. visits all of Jehovah’s servants at one time or another; sometimes it’s a short visit and other times it’s a lengthy stay. He asked what we thought the D stood for and he said “no, its not Devil”. It is DISCOURAGEMENT.
    ???
Discouragement is the most effective tool against Jehovah’s people, even more than immorality and materialism. If we allow Mr. D to hang around, he can cause us to fail to muster up courage in our service to Jehovah.1 Kings 18: 25-46
    ???
    • Vs. 25, 26 – Elijah sets up the test on Mount Carmel between Jehovah and Ba’al. Tells the 400+ Ba’al priests that they can go first in offering up the sacrifice to their god.
    • Vs. 27 – after they prayed for 6 hours to Ba’al, Elijah begins mocking them saying that maybe Ba’al got stuck in the bathroom or he’s sleeping and needs woken up.
The brother said “you could just hear the sarcasm dripping from his voice”.
    • Vs. 32-35 – Elijah reconstructs the altar of Jehovah, placing his offering upon it. Then to “add insult to injury”, said the brother, he drenched everything with water. He had 12 large jars of water poured upon the altar. The brother asked “Now, how do you light wet wood?”
    • Vs. 38 – in a supernatural display of his power, Jehovah answered Elijah’s prayer and sent a fire from heaven that ate up everything, including the stones.
The brother then asked a thought provoking question when he said, “How hot does fire have to be to melt stone?!”Elijah must have felt on top of the world. And with one command, all 400+ Ba’al priests were put to death.
    ???
    • Vs 45, 46 – After a 3 ½ year drought, Jehovah again answers Elijah’s prayer and brings rain. Ahab gets in his chariot to outrun the storm and be the first to tell his wife, Jezebel, that all of her priests have just been put to death. But Jehovah’s hand was upon Elijah, and this prophet who was well into his 70s, OUTRAN THE CHARIOT 19 MILES. This was no sprint !! Imagine Ahab on his chariot going as fast as he can looking to one side and seeing this old man running faster than his chariot thru the mud. Elijah must have felt invincible at this point in his life!!
    ???
    1 Kings 19: 1-4
    • Vs. 2 – Jezebel threatens Elijah, stating that at this time tomorrow he would be put to death just as he did to all her priests.
    • Vs. 3, 4a – Elijah get scared and flees. He just faced 400 + men and outran a chariot in the rain, yet one woman caused him to fear for his life. He traveled 115 miles to get away from her.
    • Vs. 4b – Elijah sits down under a broom tree, “and who sits next to him? Mr D. After everything he had just experienced, he became so discouraged that he wanted to die.”
    ???
The brother went on to explain that we ALL are on an emotional rollercoaster. We are up one day and then we get a call, a letter, see something, something happens at work, and then we are the lowest we’ve ever been. What happened with Elijah? He lost perspective. His fear caused him to doubt. When we lose perspective, we become self-centered and take our focus away from Jehovah. So how was the God of Encouragement going to encourage this prophet?
    ???
    1 Kings 19:5-8
    • Vs. 5, 6 – Jehovah sent an angel to encourage him. Not once did the angel bring up Elijah’s failure or ask him why he ran. Rather he gently touched him and encouraged him to eat. All that Elijah had the energy to do was go back to sleep after he ate the food miraculously provided.
    ???
The brother said “isn’t that how we feel from time to time? We are just so low that we don’t even have the mental energy to even think about getting out of bed, eating or even picking up the Bible to read.”
    • Vs 7, 8 - The angel awakens Elijah a second time encouraging him to eat and letting him know that Jehovah has another assignment for him.
The account mentions that Elijah kept going for 40 days and 40 nights off the power of that meal. “It was no ordinary food.” Jehovah didn’t throw Elijah away just because Mr D. came to visit. On the contrary, He gave him another assignment. When we get discouraged, we also need to eat – we need to eat spiritual food. Reading the Bible feeds the mind, but prayer and meditation feeds the heart. Discouragement cannot live where the word of Jehovah roams – in our hearts. When we read the Bible, we are close to Jehovah and we know that things are going to work out and we are going to be okay.
    ???
Experience: One day Brother Sydlik was approached by a sister who had a problem and didn’t know what to do. He told her to read the book of John. The DO said “When a member of the Governing Body tells you to read the book of John, what are you going to do?” She went home and read all 21 chapters in one sitting. She came back to him a second time stating that she still had the problem. He replied “Read it again”. She did and came back a third time and Brother Sydlik told her to read it “one more time”. After reading it a third time she came to him thanking him and said that she knows that Jehovah is with her and things are going to work out. Another brother asked Brother Sydlik why did he tell her to read the book of John. He replied “I didn’t know what else to tell her. But I knew that if she read God’s Word with her problem in mind, that Jehovah’s holy spirit would help her.”
    ???   ???????
    Matthew 6:25, 26, 33
    • Vs 25, 26 - In his application of these verses the brother brought out that we all get anxious. “But the scripture says to ‘observe intently’. Now what are you doing? You are studying. So when we study the birds we notice that they do not sow seed or reap or gather into storehouses because THEY DON’T HAVE ANY HANDS. They are automatically at a disadvantage. Yet Jehovah takes care of them” The brother went on to ask “When have you ever seen a faithful servant of Jehovah have to beg?
Never and you never will because He won’t have it!”
    • Vs. 33- Jehovah doesn’t throw us away when we get discouraged. He has given us an assignment. Seeking first the kingdom involves the preaching work.
    ???????
The brother went on to say that “preaching gives us a good frame of mind, a positive frame of mind, and it gives us energy and possibly even clearer thinking. So after we spend time in the ministry, when we arrive home our problem is not as big as it was when we left, or maybe it is even gone. Jehovah knows we need the preaching work to help us stay focused. How many angels would have willingly and happily done the preaching work and would have done a better job at it?
    ???????
But He didn’t give them the assignment, HE GAVE IT TO US.” Going out in the ministry, conducting Bible studies, listening to others problems and helping them with those problems, reading scriptures to them to encourage them also encourages us in the process.
    ???????
Luke 23:27-30• Even though Jesus was going through a terrible ordeal, truly the darkest hours of his life, he turned his focus to others. In that dark time, as the brother said, “his mind was looking ahead to 70 C.E. when Jerusalem will be surrounded by Roman armies and the women will be so hungry that they turn to eating their own children.” Jesus could not afford self-pity to set in at this point.
    • The brother then applied Hebrews 12:2,3 where it says that Jesus felt joy. Why did he feel joy despite everything he was going through?
Because he was focused on helping others, not on his situation.Luke 23: 42, 43
    • Jesus tells the man next to him that “you will be with me in Paradise”. What was Jesus doing? “He was conducting a Bible study”, answered the DO. With his last breath in his dying body, Jesus was focused on others.
    • The brother went on to ask, “How was Jesus able to breathe or speak hanging on that stake? He had to push up with his legs to inhale, and when he collapsed back down, he exhaled. Think of how many times Jesus had to do that. Can you imagine all of the splinters he had in his back just to take a breath? Yet, his focus was on giving the man next to him hope.”
    ???????
    1 Corinthians 10:13
    • Jehovah will not let us deal with more than we can handle. He knows when we cannot take it anymore and He steps in.
    • The brother said “We all have experienced things in our life that we consider miracles – the timing, the manner, whatever it is – it was exactly what we needed at the time. While others may not think so, to us it was a tiny miracle and we know that it was Jehovah stepping in and helping us.”
    • Sometimes Jehovah makes a way out and sometimes He just gives us the strength to endure it.
    ???????
    Acts 27:22-25, 43, 44
    • Vs. 22-25 – Paul had faith that Jehovah would save him and all those on the boat. He said that he believed it would be “exactly as it had been told” to him – but he didn’t know HOW…how was Jehovah going to save all 276 onboard?
    • Vs. 43 – All those who could swim, were told to jump in and swim to shore. But what about those who could not swim?
    • Vs. 44 – As the boat broke apart, Jehovah would direct planks of wood to those who could not swim to help them keep their heads above water and get them to shore.
    ???????
Jehovah will always direct a “plank” to us – someone or something – to help us keep our heads above water. We just have to recognize that it is from Jehovah and grab onto it. In the congregation, we are all planks for one another.
    ???????
The brother then shared two experiences with us:
    • In one territory, an older Italian sister was preaching in an affluent area. She went to the door and a young, intellectual man came out and said “We don’t need that around here [pointing to the Bible]. We live in a push button society – I push a button, I see anything I want; I push another button, I hear anything I want; I push another button, I get anything I want.” The older sister replied in her broken English, “And when you die and are 6 feet under, what button are you going to push to get out ? I know who can push that button.” The experience went on that they had a very nice discussion and no doubt the sister felt as encouraged as the young man did.
    • A missionary in Africa told the District Overseer an experience about a sister in Kenya. This sister would travel approximately 16 miles to go to her meetings. She would stay over night at the Kingdom Hall and the next morning would set off for her house. Along her path, she had to cross a river, facing crocodiles, hippos and snakes; and 4 times had been swept away by the currents nearly drowning. Yet she was hardly ever missing from her meetings. The DO went on to say “Oh, and did I mention that she was 72 years old ?” As you just gasped, so did most of those in attendance at the meeting. If that sister wouldn’t let discouragement stop her from attending her meetings, he himself was going to do the same. That sister valued the meetings and felt it was worth the effort to get there. “Isn’t it true” he said “how we come tired but we leave with energy? We always get more than what we came with”.
"We all are going to get a visit from Mr D. from time to time…so we need to get rid of him. How? Not by picking up the remote, not by picking up the mouse, not by picking up the phone – but by picking up God’s word and reading it. And if Mr D. is still hanging around, then we need to pick up our bag and get out in service. "

    ?☔️?☔️?
(Job 38:28) . . .Does there exist a father for the rain, Or who gave birth to the dewdrops?"
    ?☔️?☔️?
Dew forms when night air laden with water vapor cools, depositing the vapor, condensed to liquid form, on cooler objects. It also develops when warm watery vapor rising from the ground comes in contact with the cooling air. The Bible explains that early in earth’s history, before it rained on earth, “a mist [vapor] would go up from the earth and it watered the entire surface of the ground.” (Ge 2:6 and ftn) Dew is also produced when moisture from vegetation evaporates into the air.
    ?☔️?☂️?
A plant continues to draw water that has been absorbed by its roots until a balance is obtained between the temperature at the tip of the leaves and that at the plant’s roots. The great amount of dew thus produced by some trees can often be heard dripping from them at night. Most morning dew seems to have this source.
    ?☔️?☔️?
The Geography of the Bible by D. Baly (1974, p. 45) says: “The value of the dew was well appreciated by the Israelites, . . . for it swells the grapes during the drought of summer.” Isaiah refers to the “dew in the heat of [grape] harvest.” (Isa 18:4, 5) After this came the “autumn,” or “early,” rains. (Joe 2:23; Jas 5:7)
    ?☔️?☔️?
Night dews in certain areas are so heavy that trees and other plants thereby obtain more than enough moisture to compensate for loss through evaporation during the day. Hence, nocturnal dews may well account for a bountiful harvest where drought and starvation would otherwise prevail.
    ?☔️?☔️?
The importance of dew is emphasized by the discovery that when plants have wilted from the heat, they have recovered more rapidly when moisture condensed on their leaves at night than they did when the ground was watered. They absorbed so much moisture that they functioned normally during the succeeding day without any watering of the ground. The amount of water absorbed from dew and later excreted through the roots into the soil for storage sometimes equaled the plant’s entire weight.
    ?☔️?☔️?
During Israel’s 40-year wilderness trek, the divinely provided manna regularly descended with the dew, remaining upon the earth after the dew’s evaporation. (Ex 16:13-18; Nu 11:9) By two signs involving dew, Gideon obtained proof of divine support before going forth to fight the Midianites. First, he kept a fleece of wool exposed on a threshing floor overnight, the dew developing only on the fleece while the earth was dry. In the second test, matters were reversed. It is not revealed whether this was the rainless season when dew could be expected.—Jg 6:36–7:1.
    ?☔️?☔️?
Figurative Use. Dew is Scripturally associated with blessing, fertility, and abundance. (Ge 27:28; De 33:13, 28; Zec 8:12) A return to Jehovah would result in blessing, God saying: “I shall become like the dew to Israel.” (Ho 14:1, 5) Through Micah, God foretold that “the remaining ones of Jacob” would “become in the midst of many peoples like dew from Jehovah, like copious showers upon vegetation,” foretelling that the remnant of spiritual Jacob (Israel) would be a blessing from God to the people.—Mic 5:7.
    ?☔️?☔️?
Conversely, lack or the withholding of dew is associated with a disfavored condition.. (Ge 27:39; Hag 1:10)

Bible Speaks reacted to David Normand in "Mr. D. - An Unwelcome Visitor" ???
I appreciate what the brother said about preaching and the same can be said about our Christian meetings. When I get depressed and feel overwhelmed about the anxieties and skip field service or meetings, generally my problems and anxieties are still there. Same is true after preaching or meetings to a point. My problems are still there, but by focusing on something else for a short while then after field service or meetings my anxiety level is lower. Problems are still there, but being anxious about them is greatly diminished. Not only do meetings allow us to focus on Jehovah's spiritual food, we also get to associate with friends in the faith who do much to lighten our load and make us feel loved. Our friends in the faith are our "planks" that we can hold onto as this old sinking ship of a system breaks apart and sinks forever.

Beneath this rusty old metal cap lies some of our world’s deepest mysteries. Though it measures just 9 inches in diameter, the hole beneath the cap extends 40,230 feet under the Earth, or 7.5 miles. That’s roughly a third of the way through the Baltic continental crust. It’s the deepest borehole in the world.
    ???〽️〽️〽️?
The Kola Superdeep Borehole was drilled between 1970 and 1994 in a Cold War-era attempt by the Soviets to beat the United States in a race to drill to the center of the Earth — or to get as close to the center as possible. Though the space race stole all the headlines, this less-publicized subterranean quest was equally as competitive. The mysteries that it unearthed are still being analyzed today.
    ???〽️〽️〽️?
Before the hole was drilled, geologists could only hypothesize about the composition of the Earth’s crust. Needless to say, the amount of geological data produced by the project was unprecedented. Mostly, it revealed just how little we really know about our planet.
    ???〽️〽️〽️?
For instance, one of the most surprising findings was the absence of the transition from granite to basalt at a depth between 3 and 6 kilometers below the surface. Previously, scientists had used seismic waves to glean information about the composition of the crust. They had discovered that a discontinuity existed at this depth, which they assumed was due to a transition in rock type. But the borehole drillers found no such transition; instead they found only more granite. It turns out that the discontinuity revealed by the seismic waves was actually due to a metamorphic change in the rock, rather than a change in rock type. It was a humbling realization for theorists, to say the least.
    ???〽️〽️〽️?
Even more surprising, the rock had been thoroughly fractured and was saturated with water. Free water was not supposed to exist at such depths. Geologists now surmise that the water consists of hydrogen and oxygen atoms that were squeezed out of the surrounding rock by enormous pressure, and is retained there due to a layer of impermeable rock above.
    ???〽️〽️〽️?
Researchers also described the mud that flowed out of the hole as “boiling” with hydrogen. The discovery of such large quantities of hydrogen gas was highly unexpected.
    ???〽️〽️〽️?
By far the most riveting discovery from the project, however, was the detection of microscopic plankton fossils in rocks over 2 billion years old, found four miles beneath the surface. These “microfossils” represented about 24 ancient species, and were encased in organic compounds which somehow survived the extreme pressures and temperatures that exist so far beneath the Earth.
    ???〽️〽️〽️?
The final mystery revealed by the borehole was the reason drilling operations had to be abandoned. Once the drill reached depths in excess of about 10,000 feet, the temperature gradient suddenly began to increase unexpectedly. At the hole’s maximum depth, temperatures skyrocketed to 356 degrees Fahrenheit, which was much higher than the 212 degrees Fahrenheit originally predicted. The drill was rendered useless at such temperatures.
    ???〽️〽️〽️?
The project was officially closed down in 2005, and the site has since fallen into disrepair. The hole itself was welded shut by the rusted metal cap that today covers it, as if to permanently hide the hole’s many mysteries from the surface world.
    ???〽️〽️〽️?
Though the hole’s depth is impressive, it’s a small fraction of the distance to the center of the Earth, which is estimated to be nearly 4,000 miles deep. By comparison, the Voyager 1 spacecraft, which has reached the outer layers of our solar system, has relayed information from over 10 billion miles away. The human race truly understands less about the ground beneath its very feet than it does about the cosmos that abound. It’s humbling to realize just how much mystery still exists right here on our little blue world.

Are the Angels working with the Preaching Work today? How can we know that? Why can you be part of this work?
    Angelic Help
Do angels help Jehovah’s present-day servants? Yes, they do. Granted, today they do not appear visibly in order to deliver true worshipers from danger. Even in Bible times, angels only rarely intervened in such a way. Most of what they did was invisible to human eyes, as is the case today. Nonetheless, servants of God who realized that the angels were there to support them found such knowledge very encouraging. (2 Kings 6:14-17) "Immediately he sent horses and war chariots and a heavy military force there; and they proceeded to come by night and close in upon the city.
15 When the minister of the man of the [true] God rose early to get up, and went out, why, there a military force was surrounding the city with horses and war chariots. At once his attendant said to him: “Alas, my master!  What shall we do?” 16 But he said: “Do not be afraid, for there are more who are with us than those who are with them.” 17 And E·li′sha began to pray and say: “O Jehovah, open his eyes, please, that he may see.” Immediately Jehovah opened the attendant’s eyes, so that he saw; and, look! the mountainous region was full of horses and war chariots of fire all around E·li′sha."  We have good reason to feel similarly.
    ???
Jehovah’s angels are particularly interested in a special work that involves us. What work is that? We can find the answer at Revelation 14:6: “I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had everlasting good news to declare as glad tidings to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people.” This “everlasting good news” is clearly linked with the “good news of the kingdom,” which, as Jesus foretold, “will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations” before the end of this system of things. (Matthew 24:14) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations,  baptizing  them in the name of the Father  and of the Son  and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU.  And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” (Matthew 28:19,20)
    ???
Of course, the angels are not preaching directly. Jesus gave humans this weighty commission.  Is it not good to know that as we fulfill that commission, we have help from holy angels, wise and powerful spirit creatures?
     ???
There is considerable evidence of angelic support for our work. For example, we often hear that in the course of their ministry, Jehovah’s Witnesses come across a person who had only recently prayed to God for help in finding the truth. Such experiences occur far too often to be dismissed as mere coincidences. As a result of such angelic help, more and more people are learning to do as the “angel flying in midheaven” proclaimed: “Fear God and give him glory.”—Revelation 14:7.
    ???
Do you long to have the support of Jehovah’s mighty angels? Then do all you can to be absorbed in your ministry. (1 Corinthians 15:58)  "Consequently, my beloved brothers, become steadfast, unmovable, always having plenty to do in the work of the Lord, knowing that YOUR labor is not in vain in connection with [the] Lord." As we freely give of ourselves in this special assignment from Jehovah, we can count on the help of his angels.
Help From the Chief of the Angels
    ???
Jehovah also provides us with another type of angelic help. Revelation 10:1 describes an awesome “strong angel” whose “face was as the sun.” This visionary angel evidently pictures the glorified Jesus Christ in heavenly power. (Revelation 1:13, 16) Is Jesus really an angel? In a sense, yes, for he is an archangel. (1 Thessalonians 4:16) "because the Lord himself will descend from heaven  with a commanding call, with an archangel’s  voice and with God’s trumpet,  and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first."  Is Jesus an archangel? That word means “principal angel,” or “chief angel.” Jesus is the mightiest of all of Jehovah’s spirit sons. Jehovah has put him in command of all His angelic armies. This archangel is a powerful source of help indeed.
The Help of the Holy Spirit
    ???
Jesus promised: “I will request the Father and he will give you another helper to be with you forever, the spirit of the truth, which the world cannot receive.” (John 14:16, 17) This “spirit of the truth,” or holy spirit, is not a person but a force—Jehovah’s own active force. It is powerful beyond measure. It is the force that Jehovah used in creating the universe, in performing spectacular miracles, and in providing visionary revelations of his will. Yes, that Holy Spirit, the Angels and Christ Jesus will help us to find many ones still out there searching for the Truth. Be part of the preaching of the Good News of God's Kingdom and you will be part of that message that is heaven sent to all the earth!

The love the Lord Christ Jesus compels us. — 2 Cor. 5:14.
The love Christ showed in laying down his life in our behalf according to God’s will is so outstanding that as our appreciation grows, our heart is deeply moved. Christ’s love controlled Paul. It restrained him from acting selfishly and helped him to confine his objectives to serving God and fellow humans inside and outside the congregation.
    ???
Meditating on the love Christ has for people stirs up gratitude within us. As a result, we realize that it would be most unfitting for us to keep on ‘sowing with a view to the flesh’ by pursuing selfish goals and living largely to gratify ourselves. Instead, we adjust our affairs to give first place to the work God has given us to do. We are moved to “slave” for our brothers out of love.
    ???
(Gal. 5:13) If we view ourselves as slaves working humbly in behalf of Jehovah’s dedicated servants, we will treat them with dignity and respect.
