Rest a bit, snow storms here and blizzards! No meetings, we must study and read and listen to jw.broadcasting.org and keep strong! Jehovah will take care of us! My new motto: "I have no fear, Jehovah is near."
Agape,

Bible Speaks reacted to Bible Speaks in World's Tiniest Bible
Perhaps it could be used in countries that are under persecution and do not allow the Bible to be used? At least the size would in fact allow it to be "carried" in? You know, technology maybe has a reason? Perhaps one day, if we are persecuted we can also be able to learn how to use this type of Bible? Advancements for the future we never know? Jehovah will always protect his words. Man will never destroy it or stop us from gaining knowledge or its Truth! Are we not fighters for God's Word of Truth?
Agape to all,

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Carol Ann Torres in Do We Have the Mind of Jehovah and of Christ?
“For “who has come to know the mind of Jehovah, so that he may instruct him?” But we do have the mind of Christ.” (1 Cor. 2:16)
We do have the mind of Christ. — 1 Cor. 2:16.
It is good to remember that being whole-souled is not a matter of how much time we spend in the ministry.
Individual circumstances vary. A person who spends just an hour or two in field service each month may be very pleasing to Jehovah if that really is all his health allows him to do. (Compare Mark 12:41-44.)
Hence, to determine what wholesouled service to God means for us personally, we need to make a frank appraisal of our abilities and circumstances.
As followers of Christ, we also want to harmonize our viewpoint with his. (Rom. 15:5)
What did Jesus put foremost in his life? He told the crowds from Capernaum: “I must declare the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this I was sent forth.” (Luke 4: 43; John 18:37)
With Jesus’ zeal for his ministry in mind, evaluate your circumstances to see if you could further expand your ministry. (1 Cor. 11:1)

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Blanchie DeGrate in Listen, Obey, Be Blessed! ? ? ?
SONG 89
Listen, Obey, and Be Blessed
(Luke 11:28)
1. If we have listened to Christ, will we show it?
His teaching shines as it shows us the way.
It makes us happy to hear and to know it,
But we’ll be blessed if we know and obey.
(CHORUS)
Listen, obey, and be blessed
When you hear God’s will expressed.
If you’d be happy and enter his rest,
Listen, obey, and be blessed.
2. Our way of life, like a house, gives protection
When it is built on the rock, not on sand.
If we apply Jesus’ loving direction,
We’ll build a life which on bedrock will stand.
(CHORUS)
Listen, obey, and be blessed
When you hear God’s will expressed.
If you’d be happy and enter his rest,
Listen, obey, and be blessed.
3. Just as a tree rooted deep by the waters
Gives of its fruit when each season arrives,
If we obey as God’s own sons and daughters,
We’ll all be blessed and enjoy endless lives.
(CHORUS)
Listen, obey, and be blessed
When you hear God’s will expressed.
If you’d be happy and enter his rest,
Listen, obey, and be blessed.

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Carol Ann Torres in Peace of God Will Guard Your Heart and Mental Powers
History is not a destiny we all have a free moral will, we can, overcome, grow, and change in spite of terrible upbringing and past emotional trauma....most importantly Jehovah God can help us heal.
6 Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to Go; 7 and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus."

Bible Speaks got a reaction from Carol Ann Torres in 1914 ? When The Day of Wrath Would Dawn
The ‘International Bible Students’ . . . have been proclaiming to the world that the Day of Wrath prophesied in the Bible would dawn in 1914.”
It is a historical fact worth noting that, on the basis of the points and evidence above presented, the March 1880 edition of the Watch Tower magazine identified the year 1914 as the time for the close of “the appointed times of the nations” (and the end of the lease of power granted the Gentile rulers).
This was some 34 years before the arrival of that year and the momentous events it initiated. In the August 30, 1914, edition of The World, a leading New York newspaper at that time, a feature article in the paper’s Sunday magazine section commented on this as follows: “The terrific war outbreak in Europe has fulfilled an extraordinary prophecy.
For a quarter of a century past, through preachers and through press, the ‘International Bible Students’ . . . have been proclaiming to the world that the Day of Wrath prophesied in the Bible would dawn in 1914.”
The events that took place from and after the year 1914 C.E. are well-known history to all, beginning with the great war that erupted, the first world war in mankind’s history and the first to be fought over the issue, not of the domination of Europe alone, nor of Africa, nor of Asia, but of the domination of the world.—Lu 21:7-24, 29-33; Re 11:15-18.
