Make more money. You have to be able to make more money than you did last year. If you do this every year you work, you’ll end up ok. Invest 10% of your paycheck before anything else. Use a company 401(k) or automatic investment into an IRA to automatically invest 10% of what you make for your future. Retirement will be the biggest purchase you will ever make, be sure to prepare accordingly. Prepare for the worst. Don’t skip out on insurance and be sure to have an emergency fund. You should have disability, life, car, health, and home insurance. You also need to have at least 3-months worth of expenses in cash in a savings account as your emergency fund. Track your money. Use one of the million free money tracking apps to find out what you are spending money on. You’ll find out really fast if you are spending money on bullshit or on things you actually value. Be patient. Money does grow on trees, but trees take a long time to grow. Just keep watering that little hole in the ground and you’ll be good one day. Don’t borrow money to buy anything that won’t make you money. Don’t buy a car with a loan, because cars go down in value. Don’t buy clothes with a credit card, because clothes go down in value. Unless you are purchasing real estate or a business, you probably shouldn’t borrow money. Spend money. Life is meant to be lived. Spend money on what you care about. Travel the world, buy a nice pair of shoes, and go have a fancy dinner. Just be sure to pay cash. -

Hundreds of brothers and sisters have gone to great lengths to work on the project. Yet, many of them say, “We wouldn’t trade working here for anything.” Let us see what is happening at Warwick.

Hushai the Archite was there to meet him, with his robe ripped apart and dirt on his head.—2 Sam. 15:32.
https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2017/5/7
A man named Hushai needed courage to be loyal to God. Hushai was a loyal friend of King David. However, his loyalty was tested when David’s son Absalom won the heart of many and sought to take Jerusalem and the throne. (2 Sam. 15:13; 16:15) David fled the city, but what would Hushai do? Would he switch his loyalty to Absalom, or would he follow the elderly king who was fleeing for his life? Resolved to be loyal to the king appointed by God, Hushai met David on the Mount of Olives. (2 Sam. 15:30) David asked Hushai to go back to Jerusalem, to pretend to be Absalom’s friend, and to frustrate the advice of Ahithophel. Risking his very life, Hushai proved loyal to Jehovah and did what David asked him to do. Just as David had prayed, the counsel of courageous Hushai did frustrate that of Ahithophel.—2 Sam. 15:31; 17:14. w16.02 4:15, 16

Sounds NOT good ;-( But I remember that "forbidden" word / site etc. on and off here too, mystery, yes ! Maybe another problem, after short time it was mostly okay again

Alexa reacted to admin in When I click on the site to see the topic it says. Forbidden. Why?
Because when our site was supposedly experiencing a DDoS attack during a very heavily trafficked day our hosting company decided to block ALL AT&T phones. My phone still shows “forbidden” as well. Invision Power Services seems to think it is not them though but rather another service that is preventing ALL AT&T phones from accessing their website. I wonder if this has blocked ALL AT&T phones from EVERY IPS 4.x website out there? Are there any other admins experiencing the same problem? -

Alexa reacted to Bible Speaks in True Faith -- What is it?
True Faith—What Is It?
“WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE HIM WELL, FOR HE THAT APPROACHES GOD MUST BELIEVE THAT HE IS AND THAT HE BECOMES THE REWARDER OF THOSE EARNESTLY SEEKING HIM.”—HEBREWS 11:6.
True Faith Binds Man to God
Faith can be likened to a chain with links of confidence and trust that bind man to God. But this kind of faith is something that is cultivated; it is not something that we are born with. How can you develop true faith? The Bible explains: “Faith follows the thing heard. In turn the thing heard is through the word about Christ.”—Romans 10:17.
Therefore, you need to take time to get to know God and the teachings of his Son, Jesus Christ. This knowledge is not acquired without effort. (Proverbs 2:1-9) You must exert yourself to find out what the Bible says so as to be convinced of its reliability.
True faith, however, involves more than just possessing knowledge or believing that something is true. It also involves the heart—the seat of motivation.
Romans 10:10 says: “With the heart one exercises faith.” What does this mean? As you meditate on godly things, building up appreciation for them, you allow the Bible’s message to sink deep into your heart. Faith grows and becomes stronger as you are motivated to act on God’s promises and as you see the evidence of his blessing.—2 Thessalonians 1:3.
Faith in God’s promise to reward his servants gives one a fresh perspective on life. Hebrews 11:6 says that true faith involves belief in God’s ability to reward “those earnestly seeking him.”
