  1. I can’t watch this video that Srecko thinks is manna from heaven. The blatant disrespect and stupidity is too much for me. (I would read a transcript, where those qualities might not be so in-your-face.) I got about ten words into it and quit. How do I know of the disrespect and stupidity if I have not viewed it? These two remarks from ones I respect: and It is sort of like those signs you will see in snooty neighborhoods declaring you must clean up after your dog and then going on to explain why. As much as I think PSomH is a dodo, I will acknowledge that he retains a respect for God. Indeed, the problem is that he has become so ‘holy’ that he thinks nobody else does. These critics such as in this video—I’ve read them on exJW forums. I am struck by how there no longer seem to be a spiritual bone in their body. Not only are they contemptuous of any organized worship but they are contemptuous of God. Any of the qualities people treasure about God or explanations of him—even the yo-yos here at least to an extent—mean nothing to them. They are coiled springs suddenly released that go bounding off euphorically, caring not where they land. Anything is better than the minimal human discipline necessary to cooperation. Now—nobody can tell them what to do!!! They are free!!!!! They have left instructions for their grave markers: “I guess I told off those jerks, didn’t I?!” It is impossible for me not to think of Peter’s description of animals born naturally to be caught and killed. I mean, their regard for spiritual things, for the concept of God itself, is absolutely zilch, no more than that of a hyena.
  2. Even consonants are too impure for you now, are they? Don’t you love how YHWH rolls off the tongue—from a God who says he wants us to draw close to him?
  3. A few of them are right here, methinks. Let’s see—a snake, a dodo, an albatross, a sloth…. Yeah, some of them are right here.
  4. It may be they fear you will be one of those who, if attending in person, will forget to lower your hand after comments, a carryover from Zoom days.
  5. No, they are opening to read your announcement of why you left, after which they will close again.
  6. Naw, he’s one of my aliases, or at least soon will be if I can work up the effort. “Ortho Doxsey.” Yeah, it would work.
  7. From prior comments, it appears that PSomH regards those names (or at least you personally) as part of the False Anointed, (FA) not the True one he expects to materialize any second now.
  8. Have you met Bill Ding, a major player in the LDC? I should not have said harshest, for you are one among many. “Shrillist” is the word I was looking for, the one most given to hysteria, overstatement, and over-generalization. I wonder what you would have said about Paul, who told the Corinthians to “forgive” that fellow who had been sleeping with his father’s wife. (2 Corinthians 2:7-9) “This rebuke given by the majority is sufficient for such a man; now you should instead kindly forgive and comfort him, so that he may not be overwhelmed by excessive sadness. I therefore exhort you to confirm your love for him.” (2 Corinthians 2:7-9) After just a brief period of expulsion, he was to be “comforted,” “forgiven,” with “love” for him “confirmed,” having shown himself repentant and “saddened.” You would have not accepted that, I don’t think, and likely would have had shrill words about Paul covering up sin. If you were then as you are now, you would have withdrawn in disgust from that first-century congregation. Then, like a Kamikazi pilot upset that the target ship doesn’t erect a memorial to him, you would have cried on and on about how the real reasons for your departure were not publicized to your former spiritual family. Instead, they just accepted your resignation and moved on. Please believe me. I do not “dislike” you because you are “truthful.” It also doesn’t help that you condemn the Christian organization for any expectation that did not come on time, yet put complete trust in something not even hinted at in scripture—that a True Anointed will come along at the 11th hour to save the day.
  9. Well, you can strike the 3 AM project. The tires are hermetically sealed, Goodyear’s best, and do not lose air. The stuff is always there for that robot to keep rolling on regardless.
  10. I honestly don’t know what to do with this fellow. I must have told him half a dozen times I don’t have the power to remove or moderate. Others have also told him. Moreover, Pudgy outright states he and Ditcom are the cause of the current restriction. All to no avail. “So you’re the one who did this!” he accuses me—after Pudgy just said it was him. Saying no does no good. Might as well say yes, and throw in the quip that if he doesn’t stop saying ridiculous things, I’ll also block him from his own country. And he thanks me for the admission! Is he playing me (possible, I suppose) or can he really be that much of a dodo? I mean, I guess I should be happy that the harshest of JW critics reveals himself to be really really dumb, but even so….
  11. Now you’ve got it. And if you don’t stop saying ridiculous things I’ll have you blocked from England.
  12. If the Moderator can’t stand the heat (that old hen) she shouldn’t be in the kitchen. Even if it is her own kitchen.
  13. All posts from this moment on must be approved by TTH, and he ain’t no pushover. Participants in the WNMF—JW open forum when Dimitar slapped each one of them in turn: ”Geez, you guys are a piece of work!” Admin
  14. Oh. Okay. Is that what this is all about? All I’ve done is block the character. I was surprised to see that message that apparently everyone is getting.
  15. No greater enjoyment is there for a dog to see a double handful of rest after all his hard work under the sun. Look, I have seen that life is full.
  16. One can prove mathematically that it is impossible for one racer to pass another, even if catching up. He cannot pass the lead racer until he first closes half the gap between them. And to do that, he must first close half THAT gap. Which he can’t do until he first closes half THAT distance. And so forth. There will always be a half-distance to cover. You may have been to a race where one contestant appears to overtake and pass another. It was an illusion. It did not happen. The math doesn’t allow it.
  17. It’s also been known to be used to distinguish two groups of people, so that you don’t have to say ‘us and other us.’
  18. They better not do it too soon. He may have to go up the International Space Station to retrieve the American astronaut and perhaps even the Russians ones who have displayed solidarity with Ukraine. Putin may just leave them there.
  19. The alluding was quite obvious, as for where I quoted myself. It came from a thread concerning False Prophets. There is something very peculiar about me speaking to Dimitar through a mediator. It is all I can do not to wear a veil afterwards.
  20. Tell Dimitar it’s a joke. Jokes are funny. It’s not necessary to downvote them. If it helps tell him I heard it from a loyal and faithful Bethelite right there at Bethel.
  21. Someone who who is under God's divine Will, having the ability to discern, have insight, to see and understand things the common person cannot, and or the general public, to perceive a hidden truth about things. They also offer counsel if need be. The reason this matters is because the first entrepreneur of the Bible is Pharaoh’s daughter, who withdrew a small prophet from the Bank of the Nile. It all fall apart if she withdraws a small seer.
  22. Yes. And perhaps these two are among the ones greeted at the border by their brothers. Though the people of Ukraine have been through a lot, many of our brothers have been through even more, so it is not such a horrible thing if they are greeted especially by members of their own faith. https://www.jw.org/en/news/jw/region/russia/Fellow-Witnesses-Loyally-Support-Brother-Konstantin-Bazhenov-During-His-Imprisonment-Release-and-Deportation/
  23. It is worth noting that there were plenty of false brothers in Paul’s day and they made considerable trouble for him. “ in dangers in the wilderness, in dangers at sea, in dangers among false brothers, (2 Corinthians 11:26) Having said that, I don’t know that those in Matthew’s past were necessarily false. They were just pieces of work.
