To the extent that this was true, I think it is yesterday’s news.
They have interviewed Michael Behe. They wouldn’t do that if the two hated each other’s guts.
They have referred to days as epochs & the entire period as aeons. I think their aim today is to let scientists be scientists, and Bible teachers be Bible teachers.
Is it true that we cannot hold ideas that don’t entirely square with one another simultaneously without our heads short circuiting?  One look at a Pharma ad suffices to show that cognitive dissonance is overrated...with narrator insisting that you must have the stuff and voiceover saying that it may kill you.

Evidence is accumulating that much havoc in children’s development is wrought by chemical contamination. I suspect it is a great factor with gender-bending, as well, and maybe also with homosexuality taking the world by storm.

It is a witticism I have not heard and long ago I might have run with it. These days I hold back. If one succumbs to be “born that way” mantra...and given its new universality...how could one not?...it’s a jab that seems unfair.
For ones of such leanings in the Christian congregation, they must be prepared to swim, not into the shore, nor away from it, but parallel to it, likely for a long long time in hopes that their orientation will readjust. It is a test of faith...denying the very real testimony of their own bodies...that few are called upon to face.

Romans 1:26-27 is not considered prophetic, but to me it is the most prophetic verse of all. Nobody but nobody of my time would have ever foreseen it. A small minority, yes, that has always been...but to go mainstream? Never.

If only this fellow was not so bashful...   Probably I over-analyzed this, but...   1) Hootersville is to NYC as Washington is to Manhattan. (It works if you are ridiculing ‘the swamp’)   2) Melania, like Lisa, did not want to leave her home.   3) As much as politicians like to carry on about the dignity they think they are owed, the people governed rarely think that the job done is so laudable that they should not take their dose of ridicule instead. And there are few things I relish more than puncturing the assumed dignity of pompous ones.   Whether this is a good idea or not, I’ve not the foggiest clue. But the sense of unabashed humor displayed absolutely cracks me up. It is the kind of thing that I might do if I was but bright enough to think of it.   Incidentally, it took a very long time for me to realize that the occasion was his signing a farm bill, because no comments I read on Twitter made any mention of that. They all advanced, in the strongest possible terms, their authors contempt for what an embarrassment he was. None of them recognized the context. They all took it for pure unexpected idiocy coming straight out of left field, with no connection to anything.   And I’m sure it doesn’t hurt to add that I absolutely loved the Green Acres show— probably THAT is what prompts my writing—for the coordinated lunacy on display, all directed at Oliver, as though it was he that was crazy & not the other way around. I mean, whenever some absolutely loopy thing happened, only he was flummoxed. To everyone else it was the most natural thing in the world.
