I would say regardless of how the dispute turns out, much value from the archives is already realized by today’s NYT coverage. How are these for quotes?
“Some 1,600 Jehovah’s Witnesses died as a result of Nazi persecution. About 4,200 were sent to concentration camps, where they were identified by a purple triangular badge attached to their camp uniforms.
“They were the only persecuted people who had the choice of ending imprisonment: If they signed a declaration renouncing their faith, they were liberated. Very few agreed to sign, Slupina said.”
Is it an example of what Geoff Jackson said—Jehovah not only doing things but doing them in style? I mean, it’s kind of a good witness, isn’t it? And here that nasty Matthew 4 5784 was trying to put such a slanderous spin on it—a spin that no one other than he (along with that phony prophetess of FB, the preeminent one of all christsdisciples, exercising her “important role from God”)  would ever be able to dream up.

Yes. It indicates to me that, though are many of christsdisciples, you are THE disciple, a self-proclaimed shining star even among them.

He never used to be. But then he got COVID-19, took the drugs that are officially worthless, and promptly got better. It changed his was of looking at things.
You needn’t worry though. I’m told a few weeks ago he interviewed Sanjay Gupta, the doc from CNN, who would be the left-wing counterpart, or at least represents the official view on COVID.

Yeah, we don’t live in those centuries, do we? We live in the century where authoritarian governments would severely restrict faith and religion. And were it not largely for the coordinated actions of Jehovah’s Witnesses, dominant mainline churches would have snuffed out diverse religious belief in America during the first half of the 20th century.. Dmitar makes a good point.

“Why do you people always have to believe that the world is getting worse? What is it about that view that does it you?” one critic threw my way.
“It helps me to explain why the Doomsday clock is set at 100 seconds to midnight and not 10:30 AM,” I replied.

You wouldn’t if you came from one of those olden-day cultures in which the townspeople armed themselves at midnight and set off in search of doubleheaders to split.
If it wasn’t Frankenstein it was Bigfoot. And if it wasn’t Bigfoot, it was the Doubleheader.
You sure don’t know much about monsters. Even Captain Kirk encountered them, boldly going where no man had gone before. Like those vicious Tribbles. And Monty Python even encountered a Tripleheader.

Though it has been explained many times just how a person gets banned, along with who does it, along with who favors that action and who doesn’t—there is just no point in repeating it. There is just such a paranoia present that one sees the entire forum conspiring, though it is anything but true, and remains totally oblivious to one’s own abrasive manner.

If you notice, it is not any Witness, but your brother-in-spirit, Matthew 4 5784, who started up this thread on the need he feels to ban Dmitar.
    How intolerant he is.

I’ll take this as a response similar to that of the elder I love to tease.
I told him frankly that I was fearful of giving any possible future hard-hitting message of doom, but that it might help if I had some practice. Therefore, would he mind if I was the one to announce it whenever he was to give a public talk?
He took a moment to process, then hurled back, “You’re a piece of work!”

From what I gather it absolutely is not a JW Elder run forum. I believe that the person who might actually be ultimately responsible for the forum rules is not the least bit concerned with what we talk about over here. It's probably all based on the report feature, where people can raise flags about a specific post, or spamming, which the owner(s), administrator(s) and some moderators can act upon to either give warnings or ban a person. This feature can no doubt be abused, and it's probably true that a person who abuses it for revenge (or whatever) probably risks getting banned for that, too. I think that overuse of the down-vote 25 times a day might also be seen as spamming. (Some forums prohibit down-votes unless you have been a participating member for a good period of time.)
I think sometimes that lots of people on religious forums end up saying things that are not even considered all that bad among the members, since we are quite used to being judged and even "condemned to hell" by persons of all sorts. For most of us it just "rolls off our back." But to a more secular person, it might sound a lot more like cyber-bullying, and they believe they must take action or be held responsible for tacit permission of a hostile, bullying environment.

I believe I said that others were equally in need of a good kick in the pants. Nor are you the only one who has been banned. It happened to PSomH once and he still cries about it almost every other post.
