Great—thanks a lot!—grumble grumble. I punched that binary code into my laptop and afterwards it wouldn’t go to anywhere but Lloyd’s site. I had to throw it in the dumpster!

Do I have a basis for yet another story of false news being so eagerly related and almost immediately thereafter declared hogwash?

Yes, yes—big print. I got it, you ol battle ax—a prominent retraction.
Would that it would prevent your next breathless heralding of your wishful thinking as though fact.

For now, this is the only statement that counts. It could change, but for now O’Brien is the way to go.
These other opposing characters live on fumes and wishful thinking, reporting the slightest rumor as fact. We have seen 4Jah quoting a lawyer’s advertisement for clients as though it were a news item. (and then not backing down when called on it!!) Well, no advertising would ever say something not true, is his position. Does it become clear why some here have unkindly called him a dodo?
Lloyd’s chum did the same, heralding rumor to the heavens, and then removing it. He certainly didn’t want to contribute to the “lying apostate” stereotype, and to prove it, he resolved to take down the mother of all lies he had posted, after it had registered with the gullible ones.

For now, it is enough to know that the underlying rationale is bogus—not completely hogwash, but shamelessly overstated, as Holly Folk pointed out:
    https://www.tomsheepandgoats.com/2021/02/holly-folk-speaks-to-child-sexual-abuse-among-jehovahs-witnesses.html
Who knows? Should it turn out as Witness hopes, maybe Australia will become another France, which imposed a 60% tax on Witness finances that took many years for the ECHR to throw out as discriminatory.

" . . . you are now, looking like women with a lot of time in their hands!!"
I notice of late that you are using the term woman as an epithet when you wish to insult someone you dislike.  Why is that?  Do you think it is in keeping with the counsel we've been receiving lately on God's view of women?

I heard about that particular exchange. Or at least that such shenanigans had been reported on by Joe Rogan. (I don't really know much about the two being interviewed.) My older son is a lawyer who came by to help my wife and I do some gardening/planting today, and by coincidence he was quoting Joe Rogan today. I knew generally about some of the bogus academic papers, but had never listened closely enough to know exactly what these were about. It's a shame what kind of hypocrisy and shallow thinking can make up swaths of academia.
I couldn't care much less about modern gender issues, but the shallowness and hypocrisy of publishing what people want to hear has infected many other ideologies -- and has manipulated attitudes toward ideologies and their supposed "opposites." And of course, this can be taken advantage of by those who know what's going on, sometimes to promote something true, but usually with only enough truth to help leverage a more sinister agenda. Discovering "truth" becomes a bit more complex when we realize that even the studies and statistics it's supposedly based on can easily be misused -- or just made up out of thin air.  Starting with the conclusion and working backwards (or "creating" evidence) to make it believable has become such a common practice in support of ideology.

Do you mean like the proverbs about where there is no fuel, the fire goes out? (Proverbs 20:26) There may be something to that.
Sometimes rage boils over into the actual world. You wouldn’t want to think you were a contributing factor to that.
It may not be like how “experts” in the back pocket of video game makers assure us that online violence presents just a harmless substitute for the real thing.
It may be like how those “experts” would never dare say the same thing with regard to child porn. Nor would they ever dare say it with regard to hate speech against gays, transgenders, or minorities.
Look! How little a fire it takes to set so great a woodland on fire! Well, the tongue is a fire. (James 3:5)
That may be indeed the applicable verse here. Our people clearly recognize it in other circumstances.

The total self-absorbtion is a tip-off, too. If his self-importance is pricked in any way, he goes into search-and-destroy mode, and nobody gets even the tiniest bit of credit for anything.
@Arauna is case-in-point and it pains me to see her so abused. She has her point of view, of course, like anyone. Still, Cesar was routinely upvoting her posts. Then she made the mistake of mildly contradicting him on an inconsequential point. Even though she clarified, mollified, partially backtracked, and even apologized, it did no good. Jezebel is more noble in his eyes now.
For the life of me, I don’t know why anyone gets into long exchanges with him. Have they nothing at all to do with their time? Plainly, he is deranged.

Oh no! Not yet another one with a special calling!! This has not so far been revealed. Unusual in real life, they are a dime a dozen online. Maybe that is why the Christian organization isn’t thrilled about going there.
As long as you have revealed yourself as a chosen one, I suggest a fine course might be to tell 4Jah that you are the True Anointed. I wouldn’t mind seeing that one play out. He will go batsh*t crazy. But then, he does anyway.
(sorry—I tried to find a less crude synonym for batsh*t crazy. But everything that popped up on the thesaurus was worse. Sigh...what’s a righteous man to do?)
