Evelyn Bryan, 97 of Cadiz passed away Tuesday, March 15, at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. She was born Oct. 16, 1918 in Jewett, Ohio a daughter of the late Walter and Mildred Brennan Jones.

She was a former time keeper for the former Y&O Coal Company and owned the J&E Laundromat in Cadiz. She was a member of the Cadiz Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by her husband, Howard “Jack” Bryan in 2011 and three brothers: William E., Robert and Earl Jones.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Ronnie) Tuchek of Cadiz; a son, Scott (Laura) Bryan of Cadiz; six grandchildren: Randy, Tyler, Dylan, Allyson, Libby and Faythe; a number of great grandchildren; and a brother, Jonnie Hones of Carson City, Nevada.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Clark-Kirkland Funeral Home, Cadiz where a private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Jewett, Ohio.
