Elizabeth Touchstone

Elizabeth Baker Touchstone, 92, formerly of Fort Oglethorpe, died on Monday, October 24, 2016 in Huntsville, Alabama.

Mrs. Touchstone had lived most of her life in Chattanooga and surrounding area. She attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Rossville and was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Thomas Touchstone.

Survivors include her son Tony (Nancy) Touchstone; daughters, Connie Brown and Rita (Richard) Foster; sisters, Betty Cawood and Barbara Mason; grandchildren, Vanessa Brundage, Erica Thomas, Terrell Vaughn, Angela Snell, Valerie Pittman, Toni Frost and Kristy Fleming; 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, East Ridge.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 4 -8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
