Einmal jährlich präsentieren Jehovas Zeugen vor Ort ihren ehrenamtlichen Einsatz im Bezirk.

Dazu Franz Michael Zagler, Beauftragter für Nachrichten: „Die 57 Bibellehrer setzten 5668 Stunden ein, um ihre Mitmenschen zu besuchen. Dabei ließen sie bei interessierten Personen 8252 Bücher, Broschüren und Zeitschriften gratis zurück und führten 334 Videos auf ihren Tablets vor. 191 Personen nutzten das Angebot eines kostenlosen Bibelkurses.“

Zagler weiter: „Praktizierende Nächstenliebe ist das Markenzeichen der Zeugen Jehovas. Zeit und finanzielle Mittel werden kostenlos eingesetzt. Das betrifft auch die fremdländische Bevölkerung, die mittlerweile durch die eigene Homepage auf Literatur in über 870 Sprachen zugreifen kann.“

In Österreich gibt es derzeit 21.500 Zeugen Jehovas, die über 3,9 Millionen Stunden als Bibellehrer ehrenamtlich einsetzten. 480 neue Mitglieder wurden registriert und 35700 Personen besuchten den höchsten Feiertag – das Abendmahl des Herrn.

      The Dendera Zodiac is such an amazing piece of history. Imagine ancient Egyptians looking up at the same stars we do now and creating this detailed map. It's mind-blowing! So, what do I think about it? I think it's a fascinating blend of art and astronomy. Those ancient folks really knew their stuff. The way they incorporated their gods and mythologies into the constellations is just brilliant. And it's not just about the stars, it’s a glimpse into how they viewed the universe and their place in it.
