Teola M. Williams Harris, 94, peacefully passed away on Feb. 5, 2017.

Teola was born and raised in Chipley, Fla., and lived most of her life in New Britain, Conn. She dedicated her life in the full-time ministry as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Her joy was in sharing the good news of God’s kingdom to as many as she could. She enjoyed helping others in need and would always go the extra mile. Teola enjoyed cooking, gardening, and going to farms to pick fresh fruits and vegetables.

She is survived by her loving husband John Harris; a daughter, Yvonne (Williams) Coyle; two stepdaughters, Lisa (Harris) Richardson and Debbie (Harris) Dunbar; a grandson, Stephen Coyle and his wife Maria Coyle; three great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, and many special friends.

A memorial service will be held Feb. 18, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 234 Farmington Road, Berlin, CT 06037.
