MINERAL RIDGE - Feb. 7, 2017, was the last day William P. “Billy” Rambo, 54, had cancer before falling asleep, ending his battle. “Bill” fought and won, as he remained faithful to the end.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nona Rambo, for whom he thanked his God, Jehovah, in prayer right up to the very end.

He believed and taught his three children, Mandy (Doss) Heyen, Kristin (Tony) Wolfe, and Ryan William Rambo, that his death is a comma, not a period.

He enjoyed a very special relationship with his father, Bill Rambo Sr.

He valued memories of family with Barb Rambo, Ken and Jan Rambo, Larry and Marylin Rambo, Ron Rambo, Elaine Manusacus, and Chris Babcock, from whom he was shown love and affection as well as support through these difficult years. He also enjoyed and appreciated the number of years that he worked for Baird Brothers Sawmill of Canfield.

Funeral arrangements will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at 4:30 p.m. at 550 N. Four Mile Run Road in Youngstown at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

It was Bill’s hope that all who attend will experience the same comfort, love and hope that he enjoyed, which was reflected in his smile everyday. He’s now safe in God’s memory and his spiritual heritage as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses continues to be enjoyed by his grandchildren, Travis and Maxine Wolfe, and Gracie, Allison and Branch Heyen.
