Emma R. Moss, age 79, of Lancaster Twp., passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family.

Born March 3, 1938, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Edward Hamilton and Emma Burr Hamilton.

Emma was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Zelienople. She was known as an excellent baker and was very involved in her home. Wallpapering her house became her hobby. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and gardening. Above all, Emma loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cooking them special dinners. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Frank H. Moss, who she married on June 6, 1959; her children, Cliff (Joyce) Moss, Judy (Dan) Rearick, Ruth Anne (Chris) Blinn and Charles Moss; her grandchildren, Kevin and Stephanie Rearick, and Heather and Frank (Katie) Moss, and her sister, Gertrude Myers.

In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward, Bill, Allen and Lemont Hamilton, and her sisters, Catherine Piper and Wilma Cohen.

There will be no public visitation for Emma. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME INC., 324 East Grandview Ave., Zelienople, Pa. 16063.
