Kimberly Ann Roberts, 43, Of Poughkeepsie, Worked With Special Needs Kids

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Kimberly Ann Roberts, a teacher’s aide and lifelong Poughkeepsie resident, died Friday, March 17. She was 43.

She was born in 1973 to David L. and Stephanie A. Roberts of Poughkeepsie.

Roberts was employed for many years at Astor Childhood Development, where she worked with special needs children.

She was a member of the local congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Roberts is survived by her parents; her three children, Jevon M. Grey, Malik T. Roberts, and Tatiana L. Roberts; five siblings, David L. Roberts Jr, Jerome M. Roberts (Charonique), Jason A. Roberts (Setisha), Donell J. Roberts, and Douglas Bellamy Jr. (Michelle).

A memorial service for Roberts will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 25, the Poughkeepsie Grand, 40 Civic Center Plaza.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Wm. G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. The funeral home can be reached by calling (845) 485-0241.
