Eula Imogene Ancell, 80, passed away 4:30 p.m, Friday, March 24, 2017 at her residence.

Born November 23, 1936 in Zalma, MO, she was the daughter of Carl and Minnie (Hogg) Berrong.

On January 17, 1956 in Wood River, she married Clifton B. Ancell. He died January 21, 1994.

Surviving are a son, Gary ( Linda ) Ancell of Rosewood Heights; three daughters, Linda (Dennis) Roberson of Monett, MO, Darla (Terry) Powers of Advance, MO, Cliffa VanDyke of Wood River; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Wanda Masters of East Alton, Beulah Staats Welker of Hazelwood, MO; and former step-children, Roger Carpenter and Linda DeLap Riegel.

Her parents; husband; two daughters, Darlene Carpenter and Earlene Militello; brother, Orville Berrong in infancy; and two sisters, Odetta Masters and Linda Berrong preceded in death.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Marks Mortuary in Wood River, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Brother David Wall will be the speaker.

Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery near Gipsey, MO.

Memorials may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of to the family for expenses.
