Mary Ann Frew, 89, of Punxsutawney, died Friday, March 24, 2017, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born Oct. 10, 1927, in Detroit, the daughter of the late Neil and Isabella (Jacobs) Bradley.

She was married to Andrew Frew, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses in Punxsutawney, where she was very active.

She is survived by two daughters, Maryann Pesta, of Punxsutawney, and Norma Runk and her husband Edward, both of Punxsutawney.

She is also survived by four grandchildren: Jason Runk, Joseph Runk, Bradley McDaniel and Richard McDaniel; and eight great-grandchildren: Drew Runk, Hannah Runk, Carter Runk, Alex McDaniel, Ariel McDaniel, Conor McDaniel, Liam McDaniel and Jack McDaniel.

Friends will be received at the Kingdom Hall, Snyder Hill, Punxsutawney, on Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m., where a memorial service will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. with Don Baker officiating.
