AMESTOWN/WARSAW — Theodore K. Strzelecki, age 68, of Charles Street, Jamestown, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital in Jamestown.

Ted was born in Warsaw on June 13, 1948, the son of the late John A. and Alexandria F. Kott Strzelecki. A lifetime resident of Warsaw and 1966 graduate of Warsaw High School, Ted attended Bryant and Stratton and GCC. He worked in Rochester for the Salvation Army as an electronics tech and in truck repair. He was a former member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Rock Glen and the Warsaw Fire Department. Ted was predeceased by his son John C. Strzelecki, and his aunts Olga Zinkievich and Sophie Clark. Surviors include his brother, John Strzelecki of Pinellas Park, Fla.; a granddaughter, Deanna Strzelecki of Warsaw; and two aunts, Elizabeth McCormick and Stella Cupicha, both of Warsaw.

Friends of Ted may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 7, at the Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main St., Warsaw where funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. with Pastor Todd Daningburg of Warsaw’s Valley Chapel officiating. Burial will follow in the Warsaw Cemetery.
