Vanisi Uzamukunda and her husband Sendegeya Bayavuge shared a quiet moment in their Lowell home.

 

Seven-year-old Sarah Bayavuge (above) sat at the table in her family’s home in Lowell.

They also have joined twice-weekly Bible study with a Jehovah’s Witnesses congregation in neighboring Chelmsford, where many other Congolese refugees pray.
