Con Reino Unido en alerta y la Champions en Cardiff como escaparate mundial, la capital inglesa registra un atropello, según la primera versión policial, con muertos, apuñalados y disparos.

La policía británica investiga un "incidente" en el puente de Londres. Según las primeras informaciones, se ha cerrado y evacuado la estación London Bridge. Según el periódico The Sun, que cita testigos presenciales, hay varias personas heridas, atropelladas por un coche. Una mujer que estaba en un restaurante asegura que se han oído disparos. Se ha confirmado el fallecimiento de al menos dos personas pero ya s habla de hasta 7 fallecidos.

Por su parte, la BBC asegura que una furgoneta blanca ha atropellado a varias personas que circulaban por la zona. Una periodista de la prestigiosa cadena pública inglesa que estaba en el puente en el momento del suceso dice que la furgoneta estaba siendo conducida por un hombre y que circulaba a unas 50 millas por hora (unos 80 km por hora). Añade que resultaron heridas unas cinco personas y que la furgoneta se dirigió posteriormente a la zona sur del río. La periodista, Holly Jones, asegura que hay un hombre detenido. La policía ya habla de brutales atentados a cinco días de las elecciones británicas.

Disparos

Agentes de la Policía Metropolitana de Londres han efectuado varios disparos en la zona del Puente de Londres, donde se ha informado de un atropello múltiple por un vehículo.

Testigos presenciales citados por el diario The Sun en su edición digital aseguran que han visto a varias personas tendidas en el suelo y recibiendo animación cardiopumonar tras haber sido apuñaladas.

"Estamos respondiendo a un incidente en el Puente de Londres. Cuando tengamos más información la proporcionaremos a través de esta cuenta de Twitter", ha informado Scotland Yard a través de su cuenta oficial en Twitter.

Varios medios británicos han informado de que un coche ha atropellado a varios peatones en el emblemático Puente de Londres, el puente más conocido sobre el río Támesis a su paso por la capital británica.

Por el momento no hay información sobre posibles víctimas, pero las autoridades han informado del cierre de la estación de Metro del Puente de Londres. También se ha confirmado la presencia de policía armada.
