Williams Funeral Home 5283 Brown Street Graceville, FL (850) 263-5116 Marion "M.D." Baxter, age 80, of Graceville, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017. He was born on July 15, 1936 in Malone. He was Baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on February 18, 1975. M.D. drove a school bus for the Jackson County School Board for sixteen years. He loved his job and his coworkers. M.D. loved Jehovah God and his family. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren held a special place in his heart. He enjoyed farming and fishing. Everyone that met M.D. was very fond of him. M.D. leaves behind his family that loved him dearly; wife, Pearl Baxter; children, David Kent (Graceville, FL), Hazel Dugan and husband Dickson (Connecticut), Becky Owens (Graceville, FL), Susie Gipson and husband Mark (Graceville, FL), Cynthia Martinez and husband Luis (Graceville, FL), and Tammy Trim (Dothan, AL). He is also survived by one brother, Leon Baxter and wife Sara (Dothan, AL), seventeen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and a host of friends and family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Chipley, FL (2048 Hwy 77, Chipley, FL 32428) at 2:00 p.m. Williams Funeral Home of Graceville, FL will be in charge of the arrangements.
