Memorial service for Ila Maxine Harland, 95, of Branson, will be held at 6 p.m. July 3, 2017, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Branson. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson.

She died June 10, 2017, at her home.

Maxine was born Feb. 3, 1922, in Sesser, Ill. She was married to Aaron Harland and she invested her life in making a home for her family. She had resided many years in Branson, moving from Markham, Ill. As one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she spent over 50 years teaching others the truth of the Bible, and about God’s personal name Jehovah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; children Ronnie Harland, David Harland and Latina Maldonado; and granddaughter Janet Harland.

Survivors include children Robert Harland, of Creal Springs, Ill., Charmaine Dunne, of Creal Springs, Ill. and Lanena Lozano, of Kirbyville; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
