He was very skilled in collision and auto-body repairs. He also did landscaping and janitorial services. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1967, and he remained loyal to his faith.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Barbara J. Duell and his six daughters, Linda Chambers, Brenda Johnson, Cynthia Barker, Jeanne Haig, Julia Duffee and Lisa Miller; along with 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 30 Nottingham Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740, on Saturday, June 24, at 4 p.m.

Arrangements are by Rest Haven Funeral Home Inc.
