WHERE DID THE NAME JEHOVAH COME FROM? - JEHOVAH HIMSELF! - READ MORE ON THIS...FOUND OVER 7000 TIMES IN THE ANCIENT HEBREW AND 1000'S OF TIMES MORE IN THE GREEK SCRIPTURES....IT IS THE DIVINE NAME TO BE PRAISED AND USED...LEARN IT AND USE IT....YOU WILL FIND COMFORT IN HIS PROMISES FOR YOU!

???

The name Iehova at a Norwegian church. At the church in Sør-Fron (dated to 1787), you can find the Divine Name written two places. Above the entrance it is written "Iehova" (Latin), and inside the church you can see the tetragrammaton at the topmost of the wall.

???

The book The Pentateuch and Haftorahs (Hebrew/English bible with explanations) says that most modern translations translates verse 14 into "I will be what I will be". Note that the latest version of New International Version has a footnote for this verse that says "Or I will be what I will be".

???

The thought about God as a person who "will be" or "shall prove to be" anything that is necessary for his people is also described in Talmud, and other places in the Bible.

???

The name itself (YHWH/YHVH/JHWH/JHVH) is considered to be the causative form of the Hebrew word (hawah) and thus means "he causes to become". This describes YHWH as a God who fulfills promises, and he will become whatever he needs to be in order to accomplish his purposes.

???

It is therefore appropriate that the name is described as an "awesome name" in Deut. 28:58.

???

(Deuteronomy 28:58) “If you will not take care to carry out all the words of this law that are written in this book so as to fear this glorious and fear-inspiring name, even Jehovah, your God,"

In the castle church at Akershus fortress, downtown Oslo, you can clearly see the tetragrammaton with Hebrew vowel pointing - YeHoWaH. The interior is dated to 1750 CE.

3. Kragerø - NORWAY

At the church of Kragerø there is an old bible lying in front of the altar. This Bible is printed in Copenhagen in 1633, and this edition is called "The Bible of King Christian the 4th". On the front page you can see the tetragrammaton YHWH in a golden radiance. The bible is usually covered with a cloth to protect it from dust.

4. The old church in Fiskum - NORWAY

In the old church of Fiskum the tetragrammaton is painted in the roof of the pulpit. You can easily discover the Hebrew letters YHWH and the vowel signs e-o-a, which together forms the name YeHoWaH. The pulpit is made in 1650 CE.

    • By the way, if you're into stuff like this, you might wanna check out https://thepythagoras.com/. They have some neat articles about ancient civilizations and their contributions to science and math. It’s really interesting how much we owe to these early thinkers.
    • The Dendera Zodiac is such an amazing piece of history. Imagine ancient Egyptians looking up at the same stars we do now and creating this detailed map. It's mind-blowing! So, what do I think about it? I think it's a fascinating blend of art and astronomy. Those ancient folks really knew their stuff. The way they incorporated their gods and mythologies into the constellations is just brilliant. And it's not just about the stars, it’s a glimpse into how they viewed the universe and their place in it.
    • FIFA's collaboration with Algorand represents a significant milestone for blockchain technology. Algorand will serve as the official blockchain platform for FIFA, supporting events such as the FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023 and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022. This partnership is poised to enhance FIFA's digital asset management while boosting Algorand's visibility through advertising and promotional opportunities. On another note, I've been tuning into African football recently. The match between Kanifing East FC and Latrikunda United was unexpectedly impressive. African football often goes underappreciated, yet the skill and enthusiasm in these matches are evident. We can expect even more significant development and excitement in African football with increased attention and support.
