COLONIE — Beverly Beaudoin passed away quietly on July 5, 2017.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jack; son, Timothy; daughter, Heather Marley; granddaughter, Audra Marley; mother, Ethel Rice; sister, Laurel Kimball; and many other relatives and friends.

She loved all aspects of life, both old and new, and was a voracious reader of many subjects, especially regularly studying the Bible. She thoroughly enjoyed investigating and learning new things.

She was a devoted and supportive wife, mother and grandmother and was an honest, fearless and loyal friend to those who truly knew her. She displayed many Christian qualities, was very self-sacrificing and was always ready to help anyone in need.

Beverly was intensely honest and courageous in defense of the truth, what she believed to be right or in support of family and friends. She was a woman of absolute integrity, courage and truth.

She played the violin and piano, painted, designed clothes for all ages and enjoyed gardening, singing and interior decorating, as well as healthy gourmet cooking. Most of her accomplishments were self-taught, driven by a desire to learn which also contributed to her success in managing a variety of businesses.

Most importantly, as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 70 years, she loved helping people understand the truth in God’s word, the Bible which improved their lives in many ways. That was a high priority in her life and gave her tremendous peace of mind, especially when she became ill. She was very active in preaching and teaching the Bible throughout the area, which gave her great comfort and joy and resulted in many friendships. For over 25 years, she zealously engaged in this activity full time throughout New York.

She will be immensely missed, especially by her husband and best friend, Jack.

Friends and family are invited to share condolences from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 19 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Albany. A Memorial Talk to remember Beverly and her pursuit of truth in God’s word will follow at 2 p.m.
