Mark 3:35 "Whoever does the will of God, this one is my brother and sister and mother.” It's important at work and at school that we watch our association with those who do not share our beliefs. Even if we are the only Witness there it's important we stand firm on this scriptural requirement. We want to be kind to all, but to become close friends with those who don't love God can cause serious problems. If you are thirsting for good association the world only offers a large ocean of saltwater friends. They can begin to slowly dehydrate you spiritually until you eventually lose your relationship with Jehovah. Even within the congregation where fresh water association is abundant we must be careful of those who appear to be clean but are full of salt. But when we choose to associate with those who love God and his standards it can be very refreshing.
