Jeremy “Shawn” Cathcart was born Aug. 14, 1975, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, and died July 31, 2017. Memorial services will be private.  A memorial fund will be set up for the family following the services.

Shawn put the needs of others first, loved family and wanted them to know he needed them. As a child he loved skiing, skate boarding and sports. He was a Denver Broncos enthusiast, golfer, avid reader but a man of few words. He could create almost anything out of wood, had an eye for detail and need to please. He was raised as one of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses and loved his faith. Although he struggled with depression, he did his best to cope, and he served Jehovah the best he could. Shawn was an extraordinary husband and father.

Survived by his spouse, Angela Cathcart; daughters, Taylor and Tristin Cathcart; stepfather Chad Palmer of Wyoming. He is preceeded by his mother, Coleen Palmer; and birth father, Michael Cathcart
