Yes, there are two mindsets.

Luke 17:21 - “Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”  KJV

I realize the NWT says, “in your midst”.  The Wt. Kingdom Greek Interlinear translates it as, “look for the kingdom of the God inside of you is”.

“entos” means “inside, within you. i.e. your soul”

Those chosen to be part of God’s Temple (John 2:19-22)  “house” God’s spirit.  The completed “144,000” become the “holy city”/Temple and God’s dwelling place.  So, yes the Kingdom of God is within them – within their heart. Ezek 36:26; 2 Cor 3:3; Jer 24:7; 31:33; Rom 2:29  It doesn’t originate with an organization and where JWs  set their vision.  1 Cor 3:16; 6:19; Rom 8:9,11; Eph 2:22; Heb 3:6
