Carl E. Baldwin Jr. fell asleep in death on September 12, 2017, surrounded by his family and friends fighting a valiant battle with COPD. He leaves to cherish his memory his much-loved wife of 52 years, Doris; four loved children, Beau (Stephanie), Katie (Daniel), Kassandra (Stephen), Ryan (Nikki); four beloved grandchildren, Max and Danny, Brock and Piper; his only sibling, Iris (Don); his niece, Samantha (Tom); brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews as well as many dear friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 3611 Lesh St. NE, Canton, OH. Calling hours begin at 4:30 PM with the memorial at 6:30 PM. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff at Mercy Medical ICU, especially Melissa, Rachel, Joanne and Sherry; also to the SOUND doctors, Dr. Sawhney and Mary and the Respiratory Therapy staff. They went out of their way to be kind and caring and helped us through this very difficult time.
