Loma Joyce Kendricks, 89, of Temple died Saturday

Services for Loma Joyce Kendricks, 89, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.

Mrs. Kendricks died Saturday, Sept. 16, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 25, 1927, to Oscar and Thelma Jackson Woolverton in Milano. She married William A. Kendricks on May 31, 1946, in Cameron. She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and three daughters, Joyce Eldridge, Lily Martin and Martha Sailer.

Survivors include two sons, William “Bill” Kendricks and Robert “Bobby” Kendricks, both of Hunt; four daughters, Donna Hawkins of Temple, Dorothy Fletcher and Mona Dunn, both of Lampasas, and Mary Woodward of Lake Brownwood; two sisters, Melba Ripple and Shirley Baggerly; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home in Temple.
