Alisa Ayres McCoy, 45, daughter of James T. and Sally K. Ayres, died serenely Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House in El Dorado.

She is survived by her parents, of El Dorado; daughter, Emily Cheatham of Little Rock; son, Benjamin McCoy of El Dorado; brothers, Ray Ayres of California, and Gary Ayres of Chipley, Fla.; sisters, Debra Johnson of Gulfport, Miss., and Connie Martin of Washburn, Mo.; and one aunt, Susan Wilburn of Marion, N.C.

Alisa was born Jan. 25, 1971 in Magnolia. She was a graduate of El Dorado High School’s class of 1989. Afterwards, she took an interest in the restaurant business, advancing to manager of a chain of four Burger Kings in Little Rock. She next worked at an employment agency advancing to co-owner of All About Staffing Inc. of Little Rock, at which she thrived.

Alisa had many friends who cherish her memory. She was known for her precise articulation, quick wit, and her business skills. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The family thanks the staff of the John R. Williamson Hospice House for their compassion, skills and professionalism. We thank the local Spanish Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses for their brotherly love. We thank those who provided food and those who grieve with us.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, at the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1335 Strong Highway with Brother Leonardo Forte officiating.

Cremation was entrusted to Perry’s Funeral Chapels.
