Florence Neuhalfen,  89, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday evening, Oct. 28, 2017, in a local healthcare facility.

She was born Aug. 31, 1928, in LaSalle, Ill. She was the daughter of the late Mary Safranski Krysiak and Walter Krysiak. Her husband, Arvin Neuhalfen; her three sisters; and four brothers also preceded her in death.

She enjoyed working in her flower garden and traveling. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. 

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Gerlach of Commerce, Ga., Lorna Heintz, and her husband Richard, of Cleveland; her son, Robert Neuhalfen, of Phoenix, Ariz.; her grandchildren: James Heintz and his wife, LouAnn, Shawn Heintz and his wife, Rosa, Jason Heintz and his wife, Gisela, Dustin Gerlach, and Corrissa Gerlach; her great-grandchildren, Hannah and Abigail Heintz; her sisters: Blanche Uranich, and her husband, Larry, of LaSalle, Betty Bolelli, and her husband, Jim, of Bloomington, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. 

The Remembrance of Life memorial service will be conducted today, Oct. 30, 201,7 at 6 p.m. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Elder Rockne Winner officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. today at the church.

The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services, Wildwood Chapel, has charge of the arrangements.
