Terry D. Stumpf passed away October 30, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born and raised in Wenatchee, WA. As a teenager, she waited tables for her family’s restaurant. Later she and her husband, Philip, became foster parents. The family moved to the Moxee area in the late 60Â’s. They continued in the foster care program for over 60 years. Terry is preceded in death by her husband Philip of 43 years and a son Gilbert. She is survived by her daughter Cathy (Gene) Godfrey, and son Philip Gene (Tammy) Stumpf as well as six step-children and foster son Forrest, with whom they had a special bond.

TerryÂ’s life was centered around her grandchildren: Geno, Kandy, Scharrel, Philip; and great-grandchildren: Terra, Jordan, Kaitlin, Gianna, Graylyn, Alexia, Christine, Miley and Colton. She was also very close to her great-great grandchildren, Mariah and Elijah.

Terry was introduced to the truth by her step-mother, May, as a young girl. She was a long-time member of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses, forming a close bond with many dear friends. Terry was always ready to help in any way she could when others were in need.

Grandma loved playing tricks on the young ones in her life as well as supplying them with candy. We loved going shopping with her with her and then going to Mr. CÂ’s Pizza most weekends. Terry was a loving, caring mother, Nana and friend to many.

The family would like to thank Garden Village Nursing Home for their comfort and support. We also extend a special thank you to Tricia for her loving care and concern for our mother and grandmother.

Funeral Services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses (21 Quail Meadow Lane, Selah, WA 98942) on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
