Los Testigos de Jehová invitan a todos a asistir a la asamblea de 2017 “¡No se rinda!”

En Temuco a partir de este viernes 10 de noviembre los Testigos de Jehová celebrarán su asamblea anual en el Estadio Municipal Germán Becker, e invitan a asistir a todo el que lo desee. El título de las asambleas de este año es “¡No se rinda!”.

Manuel Reyes Espinosa, portavoz de la asamblea, resumió la temática del congreso mencionando que: “Las muchas dificultades de la vida diaria hacen que cobren mucho sentido las palabras de Jesucristo ‘el que haya aguantado hasta el fin es el que será salvo’, ¿cómo podemos tomar en cuenta sus palabras?, y más aún ¿qué puede ayudar a los cristianos a cultivar las cualidades necesarias para aguantar las dificultades?, ¿cómo suministra Dios aguante y consuelo?, las respuestas bíblicas a estas trascendentes preguntas serán desarrolladas en este evento. De hecho, la asamblea “¡No se rinda!” analizará ejemplos de aguante de hombre y mujeres de fe del pasado, tal como los presenta la Biblia, y destacará cómo todos, sin importar nuestros antecedentes, estilo de vida o religión, podemos beneficiarnos hoy día de manera práctica al seguir esos modelos”, señaló el personero, y puntualizó finalmente que un aspecto destacado del programa será el discurso temático del viernes por la mañana, titulado “Jehová es el mejor ejemplo de aguante”. Además, se presentará una película en tres partes, una cada día, titulada “Acuérdense de la esposa de Lot”.

Las más de 60 congregaciones de los Testigos de Jehová de la zona han estado participando en distribuir al público invitaciones impresas para este encuentro. La entrada es gratis, pues sus asambleas se sufragan enteramente con donaciones voluntarias.

El congreso tendrá una duración de tres días, y se realizará entre el 10 y el 12 de noviembre, en el principal recinto deportivo de la capital regional de la Araucanía, comenzando el viernes a las 9:20 de la mañana. Se calcula que un total de 5.000 personas acudirán a estas jornadas de enseñanza bíblica.

Los testigos de Jehová de Chile están organizando 29 asambleas en 8 idiomas a lo largo de todo el país. En todo el mundo hay más de 8.500.000 Testigos organizados en más de 118.000 congregaciones.
