Frances E. Jackson, a retired dietician supervisor, died on Friday, March 25, 2016. She was 95.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1920 to the late William Davis and Ethel Fitchett in Cirsfield, Md. She attended William Penn High School in Philadelphia.

She would go on to marry the late Eugene Jackson. Three children were born to their union.

Jackson worked as a dietician supervisor at Rolling Hills Hospital until she retired. After retirement she worked at Rite Aid part time.

Her family said was known as an even-tempered woman that was never quick to anger. She would later become a pioneer in service to Jehovah God. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 37: 25; it referenced Jehovah helping her along her Christian walk. Her family said Jehovah was her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband and sons, Robert and Edward.

She is survived by: her daughter, Hazel Claiborne; sister, Margaret Tapia; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Services were held April 2 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1835 Ruscomb St. Burial is in Northwood Cemetery.

Emmanuel Johnson Funeral Home, Inc. handled the arrangements.
