Tammy Jean LaFollette, 52, of Baker, died on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at her home.

Born on March 9, 1965, in Winchester, Va., she was a daughter of Ernest “Ernie” and Doris Poling Combs of Baker. She is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Pamela and Tina Combs.

She was a 1984 graduate of East Hardy High School, worked for Capon Springs and Farm and Hampshire County Community on Aging. Tammy is a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Baker. She enjoyed needlepoint, yard sales, caring for her family and friends, and was always willing to help others.?? Tammy married Ronald L. “Ronnie” LaFollette on December 5, 1990 in Moorefield.

Surviving with her parents and husband of 26 years are 2 daughters, Samantha Williams and her husband Samuel of Rio and Ruth M. Farley and her husband Chris of Baker; a brother, Randy L. Combs and his wife Kelly of Middletown, Ohio; a sister, Trish Sions and her husband Chris of Shanks; 3 grandchildren, Pamela and Cameron Williams and Isaiah Farley; a mother-in-law, Louise LaFollette; and a brother-in-law, Josh LaFollette, both who she cared for.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Kingdom Hall of JehovahÂ’s Witnesses in Baker with Rex Lehigh officiating. Inurnment will be private. ??Family will receive friends at the Kingdom Hall one hour prior to the service.
