Barbara Garey

Barbara Garey passed away on November16, 2017 at the Caroline Nursing home in Denton Md. She was 85 years of age.

Mrs. Garey was born on April 16. 1932. She was the second of six children, born to Walter Virgil Turner and Ruthann Fountain Turner.

She is survived by her son David Garey (Kim); 5 grandchildren: Cherody Budler (Jason), Ross Garey (Ashley), Dana Rodrigues (Randall), Brandon Garey (Danyell), and Adam Garey (Deborah); 12 great grandchildren; two brothers, Virgil Turner (Carol) and Ray Turner (Sue); and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Garey was an avid Jehovah's Witness since 1954. She enjoyed the full time door to door activity of witnessing to others.

There will be a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 2nd, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A. located at 12 South Second Street in Denton. The interment will follow in the Denton Cemetery, 24865 Meeting House Road in Denton.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate all contributions be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 29250 Skipton Landing Rd, Cordova MD. 21625, or to the Caroline Hospice Foundation, 613 S. Fifth Ave., Denton, MD 21629.
