You can look around and see.  Eyes can detect ratio.  Sort of predicted too.  Forgot this? (Psalm 68:11) Jehovah gives the command; The women proclaiming the good news are a large army.

I am "not in the market" for Sisters, anymore ... but the next time I am at an assembly I will count how many brothers and sisters there are. It's really quite simple to do ... because they are w

AWE....  JTR   do  NOT !!   It  will  bring  nothing...  haha     We  not  need  here  an  exactly  count !!    All  is  ok.    I  think  so  ~~~~

Dare I ask why you think this is?

Nothing against men, but women tend to be more humble, one of the prerequisites of being a follower of Christ. There are a host of other qualities that women posses in greater measure than men which make them better candidates, and there are some qualities that are typically more dominant in men that make them less likely candidates.

I don't think I have ever seen more men than women get baptised at any given convention or assembly that I have attended  in 30 years. Which obviously confirms my theory :D :D

The apocryphal Gospel of Howard tells that the Lord asked Matthew to join him, but he had to go bowling. Andrew had a date at the horse races. John, Peter, and Nathaniel were off to the tavern. Both Judas' commended him for his fine work but said they were busy. The remaining ones of the twelve all said that their wives handled the religion in their households - not they.

So the Lord roamed far and wide with the wives of the twelve. James approved of the arrangement. He confided to a friend that "a man can only stand so much religion anyway." He was happy to have his wife out of the house, where she could nag him less. He afforded her great freedom, so long as she returned at the end of the day to fix his dinner while he watched the game.

The religion of the female twelve spread like wildfire. Simply put, the women were just not the jerks their husbands were and they actually listened to what the householders said.

Of  course  more  female  JW...  yes,  a large  army  we  are ! :D   Jehovah  exactly  knew,  why  also  in  Heaven  should  be  more  female  helper  by  the  144,000 :x  I  read  about  that  before  a  time.  Of  sure  a  very  good  idea  and  help  for  the  many  terrestrial  JW  during  the  1000 years !

A  congregation  without  or  less  sisters  were  a  catastrophe !  We  need  them  especially  by  preaching,  special  theocratic  lessons /exercises,  cleaning, a BIG  help  by  different  theocratic  celebrations /ceremonies,  etc. etc.  -  I  want  say,  without  sisters  it  doesn't  work !!  THANK  YOU,  ALL  MY  DEAR  SISTERS :x

Definitely more women!

*** w14 8/15 p. 10 par. 19 What Is the Role of Women in Jehovah’s Purpose? ***
The small group of Bible Students has grown to some 8,000,000 Witnesses of Jehovah today (2015). More than 11,000,000 other individuals show interest in the Bible and our work by attending the annual Memorial of Jesus’ death. In most lands, the majority of those present are women. Also, women make up the greater number of over 1,000,000 full-time Kingdom proclaimers worldwide. God has indeed granted faithful women the privilege of participating in the fulfillment of the psalmist’s words: “Jehovah gives the command; the women proclaiming the good news are a large army.”—Ps. 68:11.

This is interesting because it shows that the potential for increase in the numbers of witnesses at present is also mostly female. However, I am sure it will even out somewhat in the resurrection.

I wonder what the male/female ratio on this forum is? Participation is likely majority female hands down with almost 11% of total postings by @Queen Esther alone.
